SAMOA JOE NEWS AND NOTES

If you missed it, former Ring of Honor and TNA champion Samoa Joe debuted last night at WWE NXT Takeover. We have the complete details on his status with the company on the main page.

There was a HUGE surge of interest in Joe's debut. WWE placed the first Samoa Joe-WWE t-shirt online for sale after NXT went off the air and by this morning, sizes Medium, Large, Extra Large and 2XL were no longer available for purchase.

Joe is still working the JT Lightning Memorial Tournament event this Sunday in Cleveland promoted by Absolute Intense Wrestling.

As I wrote last night, Joe cut a promo in the ring after NXT went off the air. WWE posted the video online early this morning:
