WWE-REY MYSTERIO UPDATE

Rey Mysterio was flown into Raw in Buffalo, NY yesterday for a meeting with WWE management as an attempt to end the deadlock between the two sides.

Sources indicate that Mysterio and WWE have not been on the same page for some time after Mysterio's WWE contract extended.

Mysterio had pretty much cut off communications with the company and appeared via video at the end of AAA's Triplemania show this past summer, saying he would see the fans soon. Mysterio has also recently visited the Lucha Underground promotion in Los Angeles.

There is no word on how the meeting yesterday went. Mysterio flew home to San Diego this morning and will not be at tonight's Smackdown taping in Albany, NY.
