WWE NXT REPORT: WHO WILL FACE THE ASCENSION NEXT WEEK?; ALL FOUR MEN IN THE MAIN EVENT IN ACTION AND THEY TALK TOO; WACKY CAPERS AND ANTICS; AND CHARLOTTE IN ACTION

Next week is Takeover II and we will find out who faces The Ascension on that show in tonight’s main event. The four men in the NXT Title Match will be in singles matches on this week’s show.

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Tom Phillips, Renee Young, and Byron Saxton.

Match Number One: Alexa Bliss versus Charlotte in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Charlotte with a side head lock and she holds on when Bliss tries to send her into the ropes. Charlotte with a take down and she gets a near fall. Bliss with a head scissors but Charlotte escapes. Alexa with a side head lock but Charlotte puts her on the turnbuckles. Alexa with a rollup out of the corner for a near fall. Alexa with a head scissors but she has a clothesline blocked.

Charlotte with a tilt-a-whirl gutbuster and then she chokes Bliss in the ropes. Bliss with forearms and a drop kick for a near fall. Charlotte misses a clothesline but she does not miss with a kick. Charlotte goes for a power bomb but Alexa with a sunset flip for a near fall to counter. Charlotte with Bow Down to the Queen for the three count.

Winner: Charlotte

After the match, Charlotte remains in the ring, but Bayley’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring, but without her inflatable friends on the ramp.

Bayley tells Charlotte that she refused to shake her hand last week, but she earned this opportunity by beating her former BFF, Sasha Banks, twice. She tells Charlotte to take her seriously because she is seriously taking Charlotte’s title at Takeover.

Bayley offers her hand but Charlotte pie faces Bayley to the mat. Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex and Charlotte rolls to the floor.

Bayley holds the NXT Women’s title belt and Charlotte is not happy.

Tyler Breeze was interviewed earlier about his chances of winning at Takeover. He says that it is simple. Look at Sami Zayn. How well did he do at Takeover? Do Tyson Kidd or Adrian Neville look like him? They are not gorgeous. He says that you should believe in him because he is better looking than every person in every room he has walked into. Every time he steps in the ring, he gets the job done.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Devin Taylor is with Sin Cara and Kalisto. She asks them about their chances to win the tournament and face The Ascension next week. Kalisto says that they have a challenge in front of them, but they are confident that they can beat any team in NXT. Kalisto says that even though The Ascension is a strong team, they are also a strong team. They have the determination to win the Tag Titles.

Match Number Two: Tye Dillinger versus Tyler Breeze

They lock up and Breeze with a wrist lock. Tye with an escape into a side head lock. Breeze with an Irish whip but Dillinger floats over and he connects with a shoulder tackle. Tye with a reverse atomic drop followed by a chop. Tye with a snap mare and boot to the head and he gets a near fall. Breeze with a kick and punch to Dillinger. Breeze kicks Dillinger in the corner and then he chokes him on top of Breeze’s phone. Breeze with a boot to the midsection and he gets a near fall.

Breeze with a front face lock on Dillinger. Dillinger gets to his feet and he runs Tyler into the turnbuckles. Dillinger with a forearm and chop in the corner. Breeze with an Irish whip but Dillinger floats over again but Tyler with the Beauty Shot for the three count.

Winner: Tyler Breeze

We go to comments from Tyson Kidd about the match at Takeover. He says that there are four people in the match. One individual is the greatest high flyer in the industry who developed that in the UK. One individual is someone with heart who developed that in Japan. There is another man who is considered arrogant and cocky, but he can get away with it. There is one person who is cold, callous, and ruthless. Something that person learned in the Dungeon. There is also Sami Zayn, Tyler Breeze, and Adrian Neville in the match.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we have a video from Enzo Amore. He says that they are at ‘HAIR’. They have people on the inside. They go inside the salon and meet with Carmella. Enzo and Colin ask for ‘The Cream’.

They talk about testing out the ‘Cream’ but they have an argument and spill it on a dog that was left by a man who Enzo and Colin almost got into a fight with before he left. Apparently the Cream works.

Enzo and Colin leave before anything happens to them at the hands of the dog owner.

Match Number Three: Tyson Kidd versus Adam Rose

They lock up and Rose with a side head lock and shoulder tackle for a near fall. Rose with a side head lock take down but Kidd with a head scissors and Rose escapes. Kidd with a kick and punches in the corner. Rose sends Kidd into the corner and he punches Kidd. Rose wit mule kicks to Kidd in the corner.

Rose with an elbow drop and he gets a near fall. Rose with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Kidd rolls to the apron and Rose tries to suplex Kidd back in but Kidd with an enzuigiri followed by a boot to the head. Kidd with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Kidd with kicks to the back.

Kidd gets a near fall and then he chokes Rose in the corner with his boot. Kidd with knees to the head. Kidd with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Kidd returns to a reverse chin lock and Rose with a jawbreaker to escape the hold. Kidd with a waist lock but Rose backs Kidd into the corner and Rose with elbows to the head.

Rose with a running forearm or two followed by a spinning spinebuster. Rose sets for the Slice into the corner but Kidd with a drop kick to the knee and Kidd with a knee drop to the leg followed by the Sharpshooter and Rose taps out.

Winner: Tyson Kidd

After the match, we go to comments from Sami Zayn. He says the advantage to being a challenger is that you don’t have to pin the champion. He says that he will pin anyone if the opportunity is there. He says is would mean more to pin the champion. He does not want to leave any doubt. He wants to beat the best man in the ring and that is his friend Adrian Neville.

We back and the Vaudevillains are in the interview area with Veronica Lane. Aiden says that they will prove they are a cut above Sin Cara and Kalisto and any other tag team in NXT or the WWE. Aiden says that he is a man of artistic caliber and a physical specimen. His tag team partner is the strongest strong man in NXT. He is a man who moves mountains.

Simon is asked to comment and he says Excelsior.

Match Number Four: Sami Zayn versus Marcus Louis (with Sylvester Lefort)

They lock up and Louis with a wrist lock. Sami with a reversal but Louis with a reversal of his own. Sami with a reversal but Louis with a slam. Louis punches Zayn in the corner and he adds a few kicks. Louis with a back breaker and he gets a near fall. Louis with a reverse chin lock and he takes Zayn to the mat. Zayn gets to his feet and he backs Louis into the corner. Louis with a shot to the head. Zayn with a kick and clotheslines. Zayn with a drop kick to Louis and then he hits a Flatline into the Koji Clutch and Louis taps out.

Winner: Sami Zayn

After the match, Lefort checks on Louis and since their backs are turned, that allows Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore to attack The Legionnaires from behind. They have the Cream in a bucket and Colin tries to shove Lefort’s head into the bucket. Lefort is able to get away.

We go to comments from the current NXT Champion Adrian Neville. Neville says that there is a disadvantage because he does not have to be pinned to lose the title. It is a risk, but Neville says that he chose this match because he likes to take risks. He has beaten all of them individually. Now he has to do it at the same time. He looks forward to the challenge next week at Takeover.

Match Number Five: Adrian Neville versus CJ Parker in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Parker backs Neville into the corner and he Irish whips Neville but Neville floats over and he kicks Parker in the corner. Neville leaps over Parker and hits a flying forearm. Neville with a flying mare into a side head lock. Parker with a jumping side kick for a near fall. Parker punches Neville.

Parker runs into a boot from Neville but Parker with a tilt-a-whirl side slam for a near fall. Parker goes up top and missing a diving head butt. Neville with a back heel kick and a series of back kicks and a running drop kick to the temple. Neville with a running European uppercut or two in the corner and Neville goes to the turnbuckles for a missile drop kick. Neville goes up top for Red Arrow and he connects for the three count.

Winner: Adrian Neville
