The WWE Studios' reboot of the Leprechaun horror franchise, "Leprechaun: Origins" starring Hornswoggle, will receive a theatrical release, according to Variety.
The film will receive a limited release on 8/22, a week before the planned DVD and VOD rollout. Variety noted the theatrical run was added following the positive response the film received at the San Diego Comic-Con last week.
