2009 - WWE ran Brisbane, Australia.  Andrew Marrington filed the following live report:

I attended last night's (5 July) WWE RAW house show at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The Brisbane Entertainment Centre was almost full, with only a handful of limited visibility seats empty. The crowd was very different from the last WWE event I attended in Brisbane, a Smackdown house show a few years ago - a very large proportion of the crowd were children, a big demographic change from last time.

1. Goldust defeated Chavo Guerrero. Goldust got a large pop as the first performer out. Hornswoggle became involved towards the end of the match, and after the match Goldust brought half a dozen kids up from ringside and had them dance around with Hornswoggle for a bit. Never thought I'd see Goldust be a big favorite with little kids, but they clearly had a ball.

2. Maryse defeated Kelly Kelly to retain the Divas Championship. Maryse looked awkward, and won with a DDT. Crowd died down a little for this one.

3. Kofi Kingston pinned William Regal to retain the United States Championship in a triple threat match which also involved MVP. Kofi was a clear favorite with the kids, MVP got a good pop from the young male fans, and William Regal got truly massive heat. Most of this match was Kofi and MVP teaming up on Regal, crowd was very into it.

4. John Cena won a battle royal for the "Brisbane Cup" and a shot at the WWE Championship later tonight. Other participants included Goldust, Chavo Guerrero, Kofi Kingston, WIlliam Regal, MVP, Sheamus, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, Santino Marelli, Brian Kendrick, Sheamus (who nobody knew), Jamie Noble, Carlito, Primo, The Big Show and HHH. The Big Show was the first main event star to enter, and got a huge pop (he got heat later on), as did HHH and Cena. Lots of funny spots. HHH eliminated the Big Show, who then pulled HHH over the top rope and to the floor, setting up the next match. At the end of the match, DiBiase and Rhodes were left in the ring with Cena, who eliminated them both.

Intermission

5. HHH defeated The Big Show after two Pedigrees. Crowd was very into this match, but quite a few people were still coming in from the intermission throughout. HHH kicked out of a choke slam, and the Big Show kicked out of the first Pedigree, but was pinned after the second. After the match the Big Show got up and then fell straight backwards, before staggering out like he was knocked out. Overhead lots of comments to the effect that the Big Show is much more impressive live than on TV.

6. John Cena defeated Randy Orton by disqualification in the WWE Championship match. This was a pretty solid match, and the crowd was very into it. Orton kicked out of whatever they call Cena's finisher now (Attitude Adjuster?), Cena kicked out of the RKO. Cena put Orton into the STF, and DiBiase and Rhodes came down to break the hold, ending the match in a DQ. HHH came in to protect Cena from a Legacy beat-down. Legacy left the ring. Cena got on the mike and called Orton a wanker (which doesn't mean what Buck and Dave thought it meant on No Name months ago, just so you know). Orton led Rhodes and DiBiase back into the ring to fight HHH and Cena, but Rhodes and DiBiase ran away, leaving him all alone. Orton then tried to make friends with HHH and Cena, but neither babyface was prepared to be the bigger man, and so laid him out with a Pedigree and an Attitude Adjuster respectively. The show ended with HHH and Cena posing for the crowd in the ring.

All in all it was a very entertaining show and the crowd went home happy, especially the kids. The only complaints I overheard were from people who missed the start of HHH vs The Big Show. The Brisbane Entertainment Centre really struggles when it is filled to capacity, so lots of people were still lining up for the bathroom when this match started - not really WWE's fault.

2009 - New Japan Pro Wrestling ran Tokyo, Japan at Korakuen Hall featuring the following results:

Milano Collection AT & Taichi defeated Jushin Liger & AKIRA in 11:33) when Milano pinned AKIRA with an Inside Cradle.
Tomoaki Honma pinned Toru Yano in 5:44 after hitting a Diving Headbutt.

Ryusuke Taguchi & Prince Devitt defeated Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles in 21:34 when Devitt pinned Shelley after hitting the Shingata Prince's Throne.

2010 - WWE ran Raw on the USA Network.  Richard Trionfo filed the following report:

We are live from Nashville, Tennessee and your announcers are Michael ‘Patton’ Cole and Jerry ‘Jarrett’ Lawler.

The Nexus are in the ring and we have the full contingent this week. Wade Barrett steps forward and he says he was sent an e-mail last week from the Raw General Manager to assemble the Nexus in the ring so they could face the consequences for their actions. Wade tells everyone that he is going to tell them the same thing he told the General Manager. He says that they cannot reveal why they did what they did to Vince McMahon now, but it is part of a bigger picture. Wade says that Mr. McMahon thought he controlled them, but things changed very quickly. Just like everyone else, Vince had no idea what their agenda was.

Skip has something to say about Ricky Steamboat. He says that unlike what they did to Mr. McMahon, what they did to Ricky Steamboat and the legends was done for fun. They found a loophole in the General Manager’s ruling and they exploited it. Skip says that the fans won’t admit it, but they loved every minute of it. They watched like people rubbernecking at an accident. More people are interested in Ricky Steamboat’s DVD than before they attacked him. Ricky should be thanking each of them.

We’ve got mail and the official General Manager E-Mail Reader Michael Cole says that the General Manager has decided on a punishment for the attack on Vince McMahon. None of them can compete for a WWE title until further notice. As of this moment, the rules set forth last week has been lifted.

John Cena’s music plays and the Nexus are ready for a fight as Cena comes out and he looks serious. John tells the seven men in the ring that they have done a lot since they got here, but they haven’t done one thing. That is to get themselves into a fair fight. John says that would make things seven on seven. Randy Orton, R Truth, Evan Bourne, John Morrison, David Hart Smith, and Tyson Kidd come to the ring, but other Raw superstars attack them from behind. Sheamus is joined by Chris Jericho, the Usos, Ted DiBiase, the Miz, and Edge.

|Instead of the Nexus versus Team Cena battle, we have a seven on seven deal with other Raw wrestlers. Cena gives Jey Uso an Attitude Adjustment.

Sheamus tells Cena that he doesn’t get it. Cena tells him that they ruined it.

Sheamus says that maybe they don’t want to take care of them. Sheamus reminds Cena that the Nexus only really likes to attack them. Sheamus says that everyone on the stage supports what Nexus has done. Sheamus says that they respectfully decline Cena’s offer. Sheamus tells everyone in the ring that if they have a brain, they would too.

Randy Orton tells Sheamus that him and Cena aren’t friends and probably will never be, unless they have to. Randy asks Sheamus if he remembers what happened at Fatal Four Way. Orton says that if they cannot finish off Nexus, why not take care of the seven of them.

We have more mail and the e-mail is connected to the arena lights. Cole says that if they want action tonight, they will have it. The eight men in the Money in the Bank match will be in action tonight. John Cena will meet Wade Barrett, but it will be for a handshake and to have a truce.

John Cena says that he would rather knock out Wade Barrett’s teeth.

We have a power surge and the General Manager tells John that he needs John to be the bigger man. If Cena does not comply he will be met with appropriate consequences, and that is the bottom line because the GM says so.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jerry Lawler talks about the WWE Youtube channel.

Match Number One: John Morrison versus Ted DiBiase with Maryse

Ted with a kick and Morrison with a forearm and kick. Ted tosses Morrison in the air and kicks him in the ribs. Ted stands on Morrison’s chest. Ted with knees to the chest followed by a snap mare and body scissors. Morrison with elbows to get out of the hold. Ted with a waist lock but Morrison with another elbow. Ted with a hot shot to Morrison and he gets a near fall. Ted with a kick to the head. Morrison with punches to Ted but Ted with a kick. Morrison with a rollup and punches to Ted. Morrison with a clothesline followed by a single leg lariat for a near fall. Ted with a power slam for a near fall. Morrison with an enzuigiri and both men are down.

Maryse takes John Morrison’s jacket and gets on the apron. Ted with a thumb to the eye and then Ted with Dream Street for the three count.

Winner: Ted DiBiase

After the match, Maryse puts the jacket on Morrison before they leave.

Vladimir and Santino are walking in the back and Santino says that they are going to be the greatest tag team as Italy and Russia will be together, just like in World War II, but without the Nazis. Kozlov tells Santino that if they don’t win then he will put his boot in Santino’s face.

With the summit between John Cena and Wade Barrett announced, we see highlights from the attack by the Nexus on John Cena.

We go to commercial.

We are back with the Slam of the Week: The union between Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella forms because of what William Regal did to Santino.

William Regal tells the oxygen thieves that they might have gotten the best of him last week, but he is going to use all of his powers to get revenge on them.

Match Number Two: Santino Marella and Vlaidmir Kozlov versus William Regal and Great Khali with Runjin Singh

Regal and Kozlov start things off and Kozlov with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Kozlov with head butts to the chest and a front face lock. Santino tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles and hits a double sledge from the bottom rope. Santino misses a series of kicks and then he tells Regal to do something. Santino sets for the Cobra but Regal with a forearm followed by knees. Regal with an exploder suplex. Kozlov tags in and Regal with knees and forearms. Kozlov with a spinebuster for the three count.

Winners: Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov

After the match, Khali gets into the ring and he signals for Regal to get up. Santino and Kozlov help Regal up and Khali with a chop to the top of the head. Now is the time on Raw when they dance.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Lawler and Cole talk about the Nexus. Lawler says that he learned that blowing out someone’s candle doesn’t make yours burn brighter. Lawler says that the actions of Nexus was an example of something done by a bunch of punks since they said they did it for fun.

We take a look back at what happened last week between the WWE Legends and Nexus.

We see Arn Anderson in the interview area with Josh Mathews. Josh asks Arn for an update on Ricky’s health. Arn says that it was hard to watch. He says that it is bad for Ricky. The doctors say that it is serious. He says that Ricky is 57 years old and he is one of the good guys.

Sheamus comes up behind Arn and Arn tells Josh he might want to leave. Sheamus asks Arn if he is going to cry. Sheamus points out that Arn used to be the Enforcer, but now he is a pathetic old man.

Arn says that he is not blind like Sheamus is. He tells Sheamus that this is a hostile take over and he is the champion. He tells Sheamus that he needs to put the problems with Orton and Cena or the company will implode. He talks about everyone’s weaknesses.

Sheamus says that Nexus is smarter than the Four Horsemen ever were because they know not to get involved in his business.

Arn tells Sheamus that he is comfortable now. He is the champion of a thriving company, but in a few months he might be a great white shark circling a big mud hole.

Sheamus wonders if Arn got kicked a little too hard.

We go to commercial.

We are back with This Week in WWE History. In case you missed last week’s This Week in History, we take a look back at July 4, 1993 when Lex Luger slammed Yokozuna.

Miz decides to use Truth’s music for his own original rap.

Match Number Three: R Truth versus The Miz

Miz hits Truth with the mic and then he kicks Truth on the floor. Miz sends Truth into the ring steps and ring post. Truth tries to kick Miz but Miz kicks Truth and then he pulls Truth shoulder first into the ring post. Miz punches Truth on the apron and then he kicks Truth in the arm. Miz gets back in the ring and he hyperextends Truth’s arm on the bottom rope.

The referee checks on Truth.

Miz wants to know if Truth is hurt because that is what he wants. Miz says that what he did to Truth is going to happen to everyone who steps in the ring with him. He is going to make it hurt.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Moments Ago Moment of Miz’s attack on R Truth before their match.

It is time for the Cutting Edge starring Edge. He has borrowed some of the furniture from last week’s Peep Show since there are ladders in the ring.

It is true that Nexus attacked him at Fatal Four Way. Edge says that he is smarter than Randy Orton and everyone else here. Why make seven enemies when you can make seven powerful allies. All those guys need is direction. They need someone to steer the ship. He is willing to do that for seven allies who have shown brutality. Winning Money in the Bank is equal to winning the WWE Championship. Edge says that he has won twice and neither of his guests have been able to do it. It is time for more from the Nexus attack on John Cena.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Randy Orton will face Edge next week on Raw.

Wade Barrett comes to the ring for the historic handshake summit. Wade tells John Cena that earlier tonight the Raw General Manager wanted them to meet in the ring to shake hands and enter into a truce. Wade says that everything they have done has a purpose but it is unfortunate that John Cena has been in the middle of it. Wade wants Cena to come out.

John Cena comes out and he looks around as he makes his way to the ring for the most important handshake in the history of sports entertainment this week.

Wade tells Cena that they caused him some harm and cost him his WWE Title. He tells Cena that they are not in his future plans. Wade says that he wants to put everything behind them and be able to move on. Wade says that the Nexus Seven will be here for a long time. They can make it easy or a lot harder. He tells Cena that the choice is his.

Cena says that if they shake hands, it all stops. He doesn’t have to look over his shoulder again. Cena says the General Manager wanted this truce, but does Barrett mean it? If they shake hands, it stops.

John offers his hand but pulls it back. Cena says why stop when they are having so much fun. Cena talks about the future and then he tells Barrett to stuff everything up his Nexus. Cena says that he is looking forward to the future when he takes Barrett and the rest of the Nexus down. Cena doesn’t care if he has help, but he will take care of each of them.

Barrett says that what they have done to Cena in the past is nothing compared to what they can do to him in the future. Barrett says that they took care of the former General Manager and the Chairman already. Barrett tells Cena that if he doesn’t shake his hand, he will face some severe consequences.

Barrett puts out his hand and Cena thinks about it. Cena shakes his hand and then he pulls Barrett close and he gets Barrett up for the Attitude Adjustment but the Nexus come to the ring and it is seven on one.

Evan Bourne and John Morrison come out separately and they are stopped. Mark Henry leads a cornucopia of other wrestlers and the Nexus are gone except for Darren Young.

We’ve got mail and Michael Cole puts on his reading glasses.

The General Manager says that he wanted peace but if things don’t stop there will be consequences.

In the ring, John Cena has Darren Young in the STF while the Raw Superstars block the ring.

There is more mail and the General Manager tells John Cena that he will have to face the Nexus next week in a seven on one match.

Young reaches for the ropes and Cena figures it can’t get worse so he punches and kicks Young before connecting with a European uppercut and clothesline. Cena throws Young into the ring post.

Cena takes the ring steps and hits Young in the head with them. Cena picks up Young and sends Darren over the announce table and then pushes it on top of Young.

2010 - ROH broadcast ROH on HDNet.  Stu Carapola filed the following report:

Welcome to this week's ROH On HDNet Report, here on PWInsider.com!

We open the show with a video package looking back at the events of Death Before Dishonor VIII in Toronto, as the Kings Of Wrestling defeated the Briscoes to retain the ROH World Tag Team Title. Speaking of the champs, they will take on the Dark City Fight Club tonight, and the American Wolves will face the team of Roderick Strong & Christopher Daniels!

And it looks like we're heading right to the ring...

Dark City Fight Club vs Kings Of Wrestling

This match is non-title, in case you were wondering. The crowd is really behind the Kings Of Wrestling. Hero and Chavis have a shoving match to start, and Chavis runs over Hero with a shoulderblock and slams him. Hero quickly tags out to Claudio, and Chavis tags Jon Davis in. The two men tie up and neither gets an advantage, so Davis sends Claudio into the ropes, Claudio comes back with a shoulderblock but nobody moves. Now Davis with a shuolderblock backs Claudio up but doesn't go down. Davis tries a crossbody but Claudio catches him and hits a tilt a whirl suplex. Now Claudio goes up top and tries a crossbody of his own but Davis catches and slams him. Tag back out to Chavis and Claudio gets in a couple of shots and takes Chavis to the corner where he tags in Hero, but Hero doesn't fare very well either and gets double teamed by the DCFC, who hit their double team guillotine legdrop for 2. Hero tags back out to Claudio and he gets taken back to the DCFC corner and double teamed as well. Chavis with a back elbow and a tag back out to Davis, and they go for the Hart Attack leg lariat, but Shane Hagadorn grabs Davis' foot from the outside, allowing the KOW to double team Chavis and toss him to the floor. Davis chases Claudio out to ringside, but Hero blindsides him with a forearm and drops him chest first on the ring apron. Hero tosses Davis back in the ring and covers for 2. Tag back out to Claudio and they straitjacket slam Davis into the corner and Claudio follows with a running European Uppercut. Hero tags in and hits a senton for 2. Claudio back in and goes for a bicycle kick, but accidentally nails Hero and Davis takes Claudio's head off with a spinning lariat and makes the hot tag to Chavis, who comes in and cleans house. Chavis with a Sky High on Hero and then a spinning sideslam for 2. Tag back out to Davis and now they hit the Hart Attack leg lariat for 2. Blind tag to Hero and Claudio bails to the floor just as Hero comes in and hits a running Yakuza Kick to Davis for 2. Chavis tries to make the save but Claudio lays him out with a clothesline. Davis hits the Pounce to send Claudio to the floor, but Hero nails Davis from behind and hits the Deathblow for 2. Hero puts on the loaded elbow pad, but before he gets a chance to use it, the Briscoes run in and attack Hero to draw the DQ.

Winners: Kings Of Wrestling by DQ

Jay Briscoe Awesome Bombs a security guy to the floor, then gives another the Jay Driller.

We go to a video package looking back at last week's Tyler Black-El Generico match and the postmatch shenanigans involving Kevin Steen. Kyle Durden is backstage and wants to get some words with Tyler Black, but he is interrupted by Prince Nana, who sends us to a video package of the Necro Butcher discussing his injuries and financial hardship, followed by Necro turning heel and joining the Embassy at the expense of Rasche Brown. Back to Nana and Durden, and Durden asks how Nana was able to pull this off. Nana calls Rasche a fool for not accepting his offer, and then says look what happened: Necro Butcher took his spot.

Still to come, the American Wolves take on Roderick Strong & Christopher Daniels, but first, let's head back to the ring...

Daizee Haze vs Jamilia Craft

This is referred to as a "Women Of Honor" match, so I guess the SHIMMER name is no more in ROH Land. Daizee with a go behind, arm wringer, and a legsweep to take Jamilia down. Daizee continues working the arm and takes her over with a hammerlock throw. Daizee with another hammerlock takeover and switches it up to a headscissors. Craft rolls through and reverses to a side headlock. Daizee tries to fire her off into the ropes but Craft holds onto the headlock and puts the brakes on. Dave Prazak then contradicts me by mentioning that Craft recently made her debut in SHIMMER. Daizee backs Craft to the corner and rams some shoulderblocks into the midsection, then whips her across the ring and catches her with a dropkick, then takes her back down with the arm. Craft tries to make the ropes, but Daizee holds onto the arm and drops a series of knees onto the shoulder. Craft finally makes the ropes, but Daizee goes right back to the wristlock, rams a series of shoulderblocks into the arm of Craft, and then locks Craft in a hammerlock/half nelson combo. Daizee goes for a slam but Craft slips out the back and hits an inverted DDT, then starts firing rights at Daizee. Craft ducks a clothesline and hits a flying clothesline of her own. Craft with a spinning side suplex for 2, but hesitates and Daizee nails her with a heart punch and a Tiger Suplex for the win.

Winner: Daizee Haze

I was impressed, I knew Daizee could do the high flying and Rey Mysterio-esque underdog schtick, but I had no idea she was such a good technical wrestler, too. You learn something new every day, I guess. Solid TV debut for Jamilia, but you could tell that it was a very basic match just to get her some TV exposure.

We go to a video package looking at the recent Lynn/Delirious vs All Night Express match, and coming out of that, next week we'll see a six man tag pitting Delirious, Jerry Lynn, and Tyler Black against Austin Aries, Kenny King, and Rhett Titus.

But right now, let's go backstage to Kyle Durden, who is with Christopher Daniels. Daniels is confused, because for all his bravado about being the best, Davey Richards is putting a lot of obstacles between them. First he sends Eddie Edwards after him in New York, and then he wants a tag match so he can hide behind Eddie again. But Daniels got the best partner he could find in Roderick Strong, and he'll see Davey in the ring where he'll prove that Christopher Daniels is the Best In The World.

We go to a message that was paid for by the NWO...er, I mean the Embassy. It features Shawn Daivari, who says he has been in ROH long enough to see the corrupt way the ROH office runs things, so he's aligned himself with Prince Nana, a man who knows how to deal with the politics in this company. Now, nobody is going to be able to stop Shawn Daivari.

It's main event time!

American Wolves vs Christopher Daniels & Roderick Strong

Daniels and Eddie start, and Eddie tries to overpower Daniels with a top wristlock but switches it up to a side headlock. Daniels reverses to an armbar, and they do a reversal sequence and end up with a stalemate. Eddie goes back to the headlock, Daniels fires him into the ropes and Eddie catches him with a shoulderblock and a vertical suplex for 2. Eddie with a stiff chop, then comes off the ropes and runs right into a leg lariat by Daniels. Daniels tags out to Roderick, who comes in and puts the boots to Eddie and takes a shot at Davey on the apron. Eddie tries to nail Roderick from behind but Roderick gets the elbow up and gets a rolling fireman's carry for 2, then a series of armdrags and both men hit a boot to the other at the same time. Edde tags Davey in and Roderick tags Daniels in, and we're finally getting Davey and Daniels in the ring. Daniels goes to work on the arm, but Davey cartwheels out and reverses to a fireman's carry into a wristlock. Daniels rolls through and picks a single leg, then cartwheels over Davey on a drop down and takes Davey down with an armbar. Davey sends Daniels to the ropes and Daniels goes for a sunset flip, Davey counters to a kick, but Daniels rolls him up for 2, Davey reverses to a rollup of his own for 2, Daniels reverses to a backslide for 2, and then Davey kicks him in the chest. Daniels responds with a stiff forearm of his own, and a shoving match ensues. Daniels off the ropes with a shoulderblock, and Eddie takes a shot at Daniels from the outside, allowing Davey to nail Daniels from behind. Eddie tags in and they hit a double team elbow on Daniels for 1. Eddie kicks Roderick off the apron and tags out to Davey, who starts going to work on Daniels' knee with kicks and an Indian Deathlock, but Daniels makes the ropes. Eddie back in and he chokes Daniels in the corner with his boot, then starts kicking at the knee himself and wraps the leg around the ropes. Eddie charges Daniels in the corner, but Daniels gets the boot up and tags in Roderick, who starts laying in the heavy shots on Eddie. Roderick nails Davey off the apron again and gets a running boot to the face of Eddie for 2. Tag back out to Daniels, who hits a running clothesline for 2. Another quick tag to Roderick, who comes in with a vertical suplex on Eddie for 2. Roderick rams Eddie into the corner and then just pummels Eddie in the corner. Daniels tags back in and he gets a vertical suplex for 2. Another tag out to Roderick, but Eddie nails him and tags Davey in, and Davey walks right into a dropkick to the mouth for 2. Davey winds up in the wrong corner and gets beat up, Davey reverses a corner whip but Roderick gets the boot up, then goes up top himself but Eddie catches him with an enziguiri and Davey yanks him off the top into an Alarm Clock, then tosses Roderick to the floor where he gets beaten up by Eddie. Eddie tosses him back in where Davey unloads with more kicks and then tags in Eddie, who does more of the same. Roderick fights his way out of the corner and dives to make the tag, but Eddie catches him in midair and rams him back into the Wolves corner. Davey tags in and mouths off to Daniels, then tries a suplex on Roderick, Roderick slips out the back and gets a gourdbuster, then makes the hot tag. Daniels comes in like a house of fire and goes to work on Eddie with forearms and a leg lariat, then an STO for 2. Daniels with a running high knee on Eddie in the corner and a Death Valley Driver for 2. Daniels whipped to the corner but gets the boot up and then backdrops Davey to the apron, but they hit their double enziguiri and then Davey with a flying dropkick from the top allows Eddie to roll Daniels up for 2. Davey with a sliding kick to the leg of Daniels and Eddie gets the Achilles Lock. Davey with a diving headbutt from the top while Daniels is still in the hold, but then Roderick comes in, nails Davey, then hits the uranage backbreaker. Daniels tags in Roderick and he goes toe to toe with Davey, then hits the half nelson backbreaker for 2. Roderick goes for the gutbuster, but Davey escapes. Roderick with an enziguiri and then hits the gutbuster for 2. Roderick and Davey go toe to toe again, and Davey starts firing a series of kicks at Roderick, then the handspring enziguiri for 2. Davey goes for a German Suplex, Roderick fights his way out, but then eats a slew of kicks from both Wolves and Davey covers for 2. Davey goes for the DR Driver, but Roderick backdrops out, then hits an enziguiri and tags out to Daniels, who comes in with a series of punches and a Blue Thunder Driver on Davey for 2. Daniels goes for the Angel's Wings but Davey escapes and goes for the DR Driver, Daniels reverses out of that but Davey catches him in the anklelock, and Daniels makes the ropes. Davey with more kicks on Daniels, but Daniels comes back with forearms and palmstrikes, Davey catches Daniels with an Alarm Clock, but Daniels gets Davey with a uranage. Eddie blocks the BME, but Daniels knocks him to the floor and tries the move again, but Davey has had time to recover and hits a German Suplex off the top for the win.

Winners: American Wolves

AWESOME MATCH. I was really surprised to see Daniels take the fall before he and Davey had a singles match, but it was a good segment and made me look forward to seeing them go at it one-on-one. Meanwhile, Roderick is standing at ringside looking frustrated over yet another disappointing loss, then gets in the ring and gets in Daniels' face. They argue it out as the announcers say again that Roderick can't trust anyone.

Really good episode this week, I like that they kept the focus in the ring instead of killing us with backstage segments. The main event was great, and the KOW-DCFC match was really good too. I would have liked a little bit more coverage of Death Before Dishonor VIII, but I guess we'll get more in the weeks to come.

2011 - Scott Hall checked himself in to a Florida jail today to begin his 10-day sentence stemming from a drunken arrest in 2010.  He has to serve 10 days but with credit for time served should be out in 8.

2011 - WWE broadcast NXT.  Richard Trionfo filed the following TV report:

We begin this week’s episode of NXT with a look back at the eliminations that have taken place so far in Season Five. We then see the return of Derrick Bateman.

We are live on tape from Tucson, Arizona and your announcers are Todd ‘Kenny Lofton’ Grisham and William ‘Steve Kerr’ Regal. Your hosts are Matt ‘Sean Elliot’ Striker and Maryse.

Matt and Maryse are in the ring and Maryse welcome her rookie to the ring.

Young and O’Neil are still not happy that Derrick Bateman is back on NXT. Matt reminds everyone that they are looking for redemption because that means you get to be on Season Six. Matt says that there is no immunity but we have Redemption Points. Titus has 22 Points. Darren Young has 7 Points. Derrick Bateman has 0 Points.

Matt tells us that the redemption points will be the tiebreaker.

It is time for the Talk the Talk Challenge and it is worth three points. The topic is winning NXT.

Darren Young goes first and he says that there is a problem. There were supposed to be two finalists. However, NXT threw a swerveball at him and Titus and they bring back Derrick Bateman. For seventeen weeks, he has proven that he belongs here. He is going to win without a pro and he will do it himself.

Titus O’Neil is next and he says that he understands why Darren is back that they brought back the knockoff Andy Samberg back, but he does not care. Titus says that he has dominated in the ring, on the mic, and in the challenges. Titus says that he has so many Redemption Points that he can make it rain. Titus tells Derrick that whoever wins NXT will have earned it instead of joining in the middle of the competition.

Derrick Bateman says that the Andy Samberg comment was creative. It is almost as creative as his talent. Derrick says that Titus was telling him how much better the Gators were than the Arizona Wildcats. Derrick says that if he was in the same situation as Darren Young, he would be angry that he was back on NXT after main eventing SummerSlam and being in Nexus. Him and Daniel Bryan are the biggest thing on the internet and he says that they are the biggest thing since kitten videos.

Maryse ask the WWE Universe who should win and the winner is Titus O’Neil.

Todd asks Regal about Derrick Bateman being back on NXT and Regal says that after their performances, they should be sacked.

Bully Ray kicks off the show by coming out to the ring to announce that he is officially going live on Twitter. The crowd chants that he sucks, but he says they'll change his mind with he's trending worldwide, and plugs his Twitter at @RealBully5150. Joseph Park grew a backbone and slapped him in the face, but he wants Joseph Park to get his ass out there right now. Park comes out with a determined look on his face, and Bubba says that Park slapped him in the face and challenged him to a match, so if he wants a piece of Bubba, he's got it because Bubba accepts his match. Park wants to give Bubba some free legal advice: in law, they have a thing called a precedent, and the precedent was set when he beat Bubba at Slammiversary. Bubba pushes Bubba and says that he can take his precedent and shove it up his-wait a minute, Park's done listening, he's sick of Bubba pushing his will on everyone, and he's going to continue the precedent next week and beat Bubba again. Bubba makes sure that it's the same as Slammiversary and it's Anything Goes, and Bubba says that if he was Park, he'd be worried about...a restraining order Bubba got against his brother Abyss. If Abyss sets foot anywhere near Bubba, he's going to have Abyss sent to jail to rot for the rest of his life. Park looks moderately caught off guard by that, and looks even more caught off guard when Bubba cheapshots him from behind and lays him out.

Hulk Hogan and Austin Aries are backstage and Hogan says Aries is three days away from the biggest night of his life, and he'll need that X Division Title back. Aries says he'll do it as long as there's no shenanigans, and Hogan says that he wants Aries to go get the other one because he needs to make a statement.

We look back at last week's Impact Wresting when Christopher Daniels dropped the bomb that AJ Styles is the father of Claire's bastard child, and then we learn that AJ is going to respond to these allegations later tonight. We then go to footage shot earlier tonight where Dixie was sitting around with her agents and talking about new X Division talent they're very high on. The Mystery Cameraman asks Dixie Carter if she's spoken to Claire, and she says she hasn't. The Mystery Cameraman continues to show that nobody in the company has any respect for Dixie by continuing to press her while she does everything but tell him to get lost before he needs to start looking for work.

TV Title Match: Devon vs Crimson

Crimson attacks Devon before the bell and tries a quick rollup with a handful of tights, then another, but only gets 2. Crimson with a back elbow and cradles Devon with his feet on the ropes, but still only gets 2. Crimson with a snapmare and a diving lariat for 2 as we find out that Bully Ray is in fact trending on Twitter, but Devon nearly breaks Crimson in half with a spear. Now Devon is on the offensive, hitting a series of clotheslines and running back elbows, a running splash in the corner, but he comes off the ropes right into a hard clothesline from Crimson. Crimson again tries to pin Devon with a handful of tights, but he hits the ropes and walks into the spinebuster to give Devon the win.

Winner: Devon

Madison Rayne comes out looking super horny and stares at Devon, then goes over and crawls onto referee Earl Hebner, making out with him in the corner and then walking off as Taz makes jokes about Hebner being scared stiff by Madison.

Chris Sabin is backstage, and he's...HOBBLING!

We're back, and Chris Sabin is in the ring on crutches and looking really pissed off. He says that he's had a lot on his mind the last few weeks because he always dreamed about becoming a professional wrestler, and his dream has turned into a nightmare. It wasn't until he got home and talked with his friends and loved ones that they told him he shouldn't do this anymore and he ought to consider retiring and doing something else with his life. Sabin says it didn't stop there, because a few days ago, the doctor looked him right in the eyes and told him that he came back from one ACL reconstruction, but two is too much and he should consider retiring and finding something else to do with his life. Bobby Roode's music hits, and the World Champion comes out wiping faux tears from his eyes. Roode says this is such a sad story and after all the years they've known each other, to see him come out here on crutches, with a knee brace, and wearing sunglasses, he thinks it's pathetic. Just like every other X Division wrestler in the company, he's pathetic. He pisses and moans about his injuries, Jesse Sorensen's walking around with a broken neck, and all the X Division wrestlers are the same because they risk it all every day and get nothing in return. Speaking of risks, the poster child of their division is going to risk it all when he gives up the X Division Title and gets in the ring to challenge the It Factor for the World Title. When it's all said and done, A Double will be just like Chris Sabin: Taking all the risk, getting no reward, and having his career ended just like that...or just like this. Roode kicks Sabin's leg out from under him. Roode taunts Sabin and tells him to go ahead and fight back, but Roode stomps on Sabin's knee again and runs off when Aries runs out to make the save.

X Division Tournament Qualifier: Dakota Darsow vs Flip Cassanova

Darsow and Cassanova go toe to toe until Darsow hits a big clothesline to make Cassanova SMASH INTO SMITHEREENS. Cassanova drop toeholds Darsow onto the bottom rope and then slingshots over the ropes into a baseball slide, then hits a leaping forearm SMASH in the corner. Cassanova with a standing moonsault into a vertical splash for 2. That didn't look like it felt good, nor did the textbook dropkick Darsow drilled Cassanova with before sitting on top of him and repeatedly drilling him in the face with right hands. Cassanova does more springboard flippy stuff and uses a headscissors to send Darsow out to the floor. Cassanova kicks Darsow square in the mouth and comes off the rope with a twisting dive. They go back in where Cassanova comes off the top rope with a crossbody, but Darsow rolls through and hits a series of stomps and an elbowdrop for 2. Darsow goes for a moonsault and misses, and we see that his face is covered with blood from that kick as Cassanova goes up top for a shooting star press into another vertical splash square onto Darsow's chest for the win.

Winner: Flip Cassanova

If I were Dakota Darsow, I would seriously kick the shit out of Flip Kendrick when I got back to the locker room for the sloppy ass way he wrestled that match. Seriously, Cassanova potatoed Darsow like three or four times, and I realized on the replay of the finish that he kicked Darsow in the face again on the way down before his ass landed on Darsow's sternum.

Brooke Tessmacher is backstage saying that she'll beat Gail Kim next week like he would have if Gail were here tonight, but instead, she'll now get to team with her BFF Tara. Tara tells her Boo that Brooke makes her and everyone else who ever held that title proud.

We look back at last week when Taeler Hendrix earned her TNA contract, and then we go back to the ring!

Gail Kim & Madison Rayne vs Tara & Boo

Madison blindsides Brooke before the bell and knocks her out to the floor, then goes after her and rams her right into the guardrail. Back into the ring, Madison covers Brooke and gets 2, then tags in Gail Kim, who unloads on Brooke with some martial arts kicks and hard forearms. Gail comes off the ropes with a high impact clothesline, then hits a kneestrike to the sternum. Brooke fires back with right hands and seems to catch Gail with a good one to the breadbasket, but Gail quickly regains control with a back elbow. She comes off the second rope with a crossbody, but Brooke moves out of the way and brawls over to the corner to tag in Tara, who goes to work on Madison Rayne. Tara with a series of clotheslines and a snap suplex, then a cyclone side suplex gets 2. Tara goes for the Widow's Peak, Gail tries to come in but Tara boots her in the face and rams Madison into Gail to send her to the outside before hitting the Widow's Peak on Madison. Instead of going for the cover, she tags in Boo so she can hit the Pepsi Twist, and that's all she wrote.

Winners: Tara & Boo

AJ Styles is backstage, and he's...WALKING!

We go to a video package with James Storm talking about how he let himself down when he lost at Lockdown, and he watched the match over and over wondering what he could have done, but now the Bound For Glory Series is coming up and it's his chance to prove that he belongs at the top. He knows where Jeff Hardy has been, but friendship doesn't pay his bills and he's going to bring it because he knows Hardy will. We then go backstage to James Storm as he's warming up for tonight's match.

We go out to the ring where AJ Styles (who, by the way, is also on Twitter) comes out to the ring to respond to the allegations of Christopher Daniels. AJ says that he was accused of an affair with Dixie Carter, and Daniels had all kinds of evidence because a picture is worth a thousand words, but those words were wrong. Now he wants to accuse him of being the father of Claire's child, and he doesn't know what Daniels is after, but...oh wait, here come Daniels and Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian can't believe that AJ just said he doesn't get it, but what he does get is he gets junkie whores pregnant, and even after last week when he tries to knock some sense into AJ's thick, redneck skull, AJ doesn't grasp the severity of the situation. AJ says he's going to get his redneck hands around Kazarian's neck and tear his throat out, but Daniels says he has proof that AJ is the father of Claire's baby. AJ tells him to shut up because it's not about Dixie or Claire, it's about Daniels and AJ because Daniels wanted the match with AJ last year at Destination X, and Daniels proved what a jealous prick he is when AJ got his hand raised. The difference between last year and this year is that AJ wanted to match, and it's a Last Man Standing match. Daniels is no man, and AJ is going to prove it by shutting Daniels up once and for all at Destination X.

The Mystery Cameraman is backstage asking Hulk Hogan about his prediction for the main event of Destination X, but some scruffy dude with a beard comes in to toss an envelope on Hogan's desk and say that they're not cowards, and they've got something for Hogan. Hogan opens the envelope and there's two aces and two eights with one card face down taped to a piece of paper, with a note saying they'll see Hogan next week.

Jeff Hardy is backstage getting ready for tonight's main event, and now we go to a video package with Jeff Hardy talking about what being in the BFG Series means to him.

X Division Tournament Qualifier: Kenny King vs Lars Only

King ties up and backs Only to the corner, breaks clean, and they go back and forth with some chain wrestling until King hits a Japanese whizzer. Only slaps King in the face, then gets an armdrag, drop toeholds King into the middle rope, and comes in with a running crossbody. Only slides out to the floor and hits a sliding enziguiri to King for 2, then dropkicks King out to the floor and he hits the ropes, but King quickly slides back in and nearly takes Only's head off with a leg lariat for 2. Only with a small package for 2, then King takes Only out with a clothesline and dumps him out to the floor. King smirks at the camera before going out to the floor and comes off the apron with a twisting senton that squishes Only and lands King on the back of his head. Rough night for these X Division guys! They go back inside where King hits the cartwheel kick for 2, but misses the slingshot legdrop off the bottom rope. Only with a fiery clothesline/back elbow comeback, and a flying headscissors just barely sends King awkwardly out to the floor. Only swings around the ringpost to hit another flying headscissors, then goes inside and rolls King up with a schoolboy for 2. Only goes to the second rope for a tornado DDT, King blocks, and I don't know what they were trying to do but they blew the spot and Only covered for an unimpressive 2. Only and King go to the second rope, Only shoves King off backward and King cartwheels backward and lands on his feet, then he leaps up with an enziguiri and DRILLS Only with the Royal Flush for the win.

Winner: Kenny King

Christy Hemme catches up with King after the match and asks how it feels to be going to Destination X, and he says he came here to make an impact, and this Sunday at Destination X, a King will be crowned.

James Storm and Jeff Hardy are backstage, and their match is up NEXT!

We go to a video package of Austin Aries talking about how he was 150 pounds when he got into the business and was never going to get a job because he was 6'4", but he's done what he needed to do to get ahead. While Bobby Roode's been winning with beer bottles, he's been winning with brainbusters, and he wants to use his current accomplishments to move on to greater accomplishments. Until he reaches that goal, he can't rest on any laurels. We then go backstage to Aries and King sharing a big hug, and King says he wants to follow in Aries' footsteps. Aries says if he keeps wrestling like that, he'll be a champion before too long. I assume he means in TNA. The Mystery Cameraman (who has been a real pain in the ass tonight) asks Aries if he's still planning to hand over the belt to Hogan tonight, and Aries says that Hogan will have the belt in his hand by 10pm.

We look at the Bound For Glory Series scoreboard, and James Storm (also on Twitter) is still in first place, with Samoa Joe in second and Brutus Magnus in third. Let's go to the ring for more action in the Bound For Glory Series!

Bound For Glory Series: James Storm vs Jeff Hardy

They tie up and Storm quickly goes to the arm, Hardy reverses to an arm wringer of his own and tries for the Twist of Fate right away, but Storm twists away and goes for the Last Call. Hardy dodges that, then sends Storm to the ropes but gets taken down with a shoulderblock. Now Hardy comes off the ropes and takes Storm down with a shoulderblock, Storm snapmares Hardy for 2, Hardy sweeps Storm's leg and covers for 2 as we're informed that Kenny King is trending on Twitter. Storm and Hardy fight over a top wristlock, Hardy slips out and hits the ropes and again dodges Storm's superkick and dumps Storm to the floor. Hardy lets Storm take a long 9 to clear his head and break the momentum. Storm slowly makes his way back to the ring apron, Hardy tries to charge Storm but Storm drops back to the floor as the crowd is going nuts for both men. The crowd is definitely a lot more audible tonight that usual. They tie up and are at a stalemate as we go to commercial.

We're back, and Hardy has Storm down in a rear chinlock. Storm backs Hardy to the corner and rams shoulderblocks to the breadbasket, but Hardy leapfrogs Storm into a flying headscissors and drops a leg for 2. Storm turns it around with a series of clotheslines, but Hardy with clotheslines of his own. Hardy with a double leg takedown, legdrop splits the uprights, and a diving dropkick gets 2. Hardy looks frustrated as he comes after Storm in the corner, but Storm gets his elbow up and comes off thesecond rope with a tornado deathdrop. That gets 2 for Storm, and he charges Hardy but gets backdropped out to the floor. Hardy with a baseball slide that sends Storm crashing into the guardrail, but he slingshots himself over the top rope right into a Codebreaker from Storm. Storm and Hardy both just beat the count, and Storm is first to his feet. Storm hits a hard running clothesline and slowly sets up again, but Hardy dodges a charge into the corner and knocks Storm on his butt with an inverted enziguiri. Hardy with a slingshot dropkick in the corner and then he comes off the top with a Swanton...and Storm moves out of the way. Storm drags himself up and now he goes to the top and hits a leaping elbowdrop for 2. Storm sets up for the superkick, but Hardy can't get to his feet. Storm pulls him up and goes for the Last Call again, but Hardy ducks and hits the Twist of Fate for the win.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

Great match, and the crowd heat really added a lot to this. They shake hands and hug after the match as we go to the leader board to see that Storm remains in first, but Hardy is now tied for third with Brutus Magnus.

We run down the card for this weekend's Destination X PPV, then we go backstage to see Hulk Hogan as he's...WALKING!

Mike Tenay and Taz reveal that this year's Bound For Glory PPV will take place in Phoenix, Arizona, then we go to Kurt Angle as he discusses how much he respects Ken Anderson and how beating him means he can be a World Champion. Ken Anderson says that the BFG Series means everything for him, and like his father told him, he needs to do it right the first time or not do it at all. We run through some matches for next week on Impact, and then we go back to the ring for our closing promo segment.

Hulk hogan comes out to a great reaction from the crowd, and he calls Austin Aries out to the ring. Instead, Bobby Roode's music hits and he comes out to the ring with a look or purpose on his face. Roode tells Hogan to shut up, and says that he is no Austin Aries, he is a REAL World Champion, and the only reason Aries has an opportuinty against the It Factor is because of Hogan. Hogan drank his Kool Aid and bought into his Option C, but this Sunday, Option C will be a failure. Hogan has given nothing but false hope and false promises to the fans, Austin Aries, and the entire X Division. This Sunday at Destination X when Roode ends the career of Austin ARies, the failure of the entire X Division and the blood of Austin Aries will all be on Hogan's hands. Aries' music hits and how he comes out to tell Bobby that this is a reoccuring theme where he thinks he can come out here and dictate things whenever he wants. Maybe he can since he's the World Champion, but Roode better bask in that while he has that privilege because this Sunday, Aries is going to be the World Champion. Aries says that Option A is to let Roode keep flapping his mouth, keep his belt, and hand it off to Hogan another time. Option B is to forget everything that's happened over the last few weeks and hang onto the belt until Sunday. Then there's Option C, where they don't have to wait until Sunday and they can do this right now because Aries isn't scared of Roode. He says they go for Option C so they can do this right now, and Roode tears off his jacket and gets in Aries' face, then says he's not worth it and walks off. Roode tries to cheapshot Aries with the belt, but Aries ducks and knocks Roode out with the X Division belt, then parades around the ring with both belts before handing the X Division Title back to Hogan as Roode backpedals up the entrance ramp.

Thank you for following PWInsider’s live coverage of FIP Declaration of Independence. I will have written thoughts on the show as well as a post game on the Elite Section of the site.

2013 - WWE broadcast Smackdown.  Richard Trionfo filed the following TV report:

WWE hopes that you have enjoyed your Fourth of July because if you have not had enough fireworks, we will see CM Punk return to Smackdown. What does CM Punk have in store for the show where they fight on Friday night?

We are in Topeka, Kansas and your announcers are John ‘Rock Chalk Justin Hawk’ Layfield and Michael ‘How can we be so close to Manhattan when we are in Kansas’ Cole.

Our special guest makes his way to the ring so CM Punk can address the crowd. Before that happens, we see what happened on Raw when CM Punk and Curtis Axel were part of a tag team match against Darren Young and Titus O’Neil.

Punk stands under the blue briefcase and he waits for the crowd to quiet down.

He says that if he was John Cena, he would give a very heartfelt speech about the Fourth of July and how much it means to be an American and how America was built on hustle, loyalty, and respect. Punk reminds everyone that he is not John Cena and he has a drastically different point of view than Cena.

He says that the Fourth of July means independence to him. It is a time when like minded individuals decided that they were not going to conform to someone else’s rules. They were going to make their own rules and blaze their own trail and die for it if necessary.

Punk says that independence is important to him and if someone tells him that he has a series of rules to follow, he will break them. If he is told something and even if it was a smart idea, he was going to run away from it. When he was told that he would be the biggest thing after Wrestlemania, but he walked away. When he was told that Paul Heyman was a major asset for him at ringside, he told Paul to stay in the back.

Regardless of how good his track record is in Money in the Bank matches, he was told that the odds were against him in the All-Stars Money in the Bank match. That is why he lined everyone up and told them what he thought of them to prove them wrong.

He is a simple guy with simple needs. He has two simple goals. The first one is to get his hands on Brock Lesnar. He will get his hands on Brock and hold him accountable for the F-5 that Brock gave him on Raw. His second goal . . . and he looks at the briefcase and it is to win the Money in the Bank match and become WWE Champion again.

He says that those are his two basic goals and he has no problem telling everyone.

Alberto Del Rio’s music plays and Punk mentions that he is not done.

Alberto says that he was expecting more from CM Punk.

Punk says that Del Rio was expecting more from him, but Punk says that he was expecting more from Del Rio, like a cool car. Instead it is just him in a cheap suit. He wants to know what Del Rio wants.

Del Rio says that it is not about what he wants, it is about who he is. He is the World Heavyweight Champion. This is his show.

Punk agrees that Del Rio is the World Champion, but title or no title, it has never been his show. They air on Mundos and it isn’t even Del Rio’s show. He wants to know what Del Rio wants.

Del Rio says that Punk is always making jokes. He asks Punk if they know how his people celebrated their holiday. They stuffed their faces in their backyards eating hot dogs, hamburgers, and French fries. They celebrate their freedom by watching television all day and play with the internet. They get fatter and fatter and fatter and fatter every day. Then they come to Smackdown and they cheer a filthy little pig named Dolph Ziggler who disrespected the Mexican culture and ruined his fiesta.

Then they chant USA (and the crowd starts the chant). They chant USA because they are nothing but a bunch of sheep.

Punk asks Alberto if he is the same guy who came out and championed how awesome America was until a few weeks ago. He was starting the USA chants talking about how fantastic America is. Now he is criticizing them because they saw through his Born in Mexico, Made in America crap?

They chant USA and boo Del Rio, not because he is from Mexico. It is because he tried to put on this façade and acted like a phony America. They see through him and they see Del Rio as the phony he is.

Del Rio says that Punk is always barking. He calls Punk a Chihuahua and someone needs to teach him some manners. Del Rio reminds Punk that he is the World . . . Heavyweight . . . Champion.

Punk tells Del Rio that he is the number one contender to his title of Best in the World. He doesn’t chase Del Rio, Del Rio chases him. He doesn’t interrupt Del Rio, it was Alberto who interrupted him.

Alberto says that this is his world, his show, and his ring. He orders Punk to leave right now.

Punk says that it sounds painfully like Alberto is telling him to do something. Punk says that it might be smart, but he is going to stay in the ring until Del Rio makes him leave the ring.

As we approach TeddyCon 2, it is time for Teddy Long’s music to play and he has an even number of people in the ring so we might be getting a match for later in the show.

Teddy tells the playas to wait a minute. He says that we had fireworks for the Fourth of July, but thanks to Del Rio and Punk, we are going to have fireworks in the main event. Alberto Del Rio will face CM Punk.

We go to commercial.

We are back and CM Punk is in the locker room and Paul Heyman enters. Paul says that he is honoring Punk’s request to stay out of his business. He wants to ask Punk something as his best friend. Punk says that he is just a friend. Paul says that this match is a bad idea because he has everything to lose and nothing to gain.

Punk agrees with Paul that this is a situation where he has nothing to gain and everything to lose. Punk says that he will fight him anyway.

Paul talks about the Money in the Bank match. He talks about how the winner will be guaranteed the WWE Title. He says that Punk needs eyes in the back of his head and he asks to be with Punk.

Punk tells Paul, as his friend, to stay out of it.

Paul agrees and he wishes Punk luck.

Damien Sandow demands silence and he tells the slackjawed mouth breathers of the WWE Universe that they are about to witness a new era in WWE. They will be in a Money in the Bank match for a World Title contract. For those who are wagging their tongues over the thought of the decimation of the Rhodes Scholars, they could not be any more incorrect.

Cody says that the best man will win and Damien agrees.
