WWE NXT REPORT: NEVILLE VERSUS VAN DAM; VAUDEVILLAINS IN ACTION; BECKY LYNCH AND BULL DEMPSEY DEBUT; A RETURN. . . WITH ATTITUDE

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Alex ‘Can I host on Monday’ Riley, Renee ‘I don’t want to host’ Young, and Rich ‘I move up the depth chart’ Brennan

Match Number One: Simon Gotch and Aiden English versus Tee Perkins and Matt Sugarman

English and Sugarman start off and English misses a punch. Sugarman with a wrist lock and he works on the arm. Perkins tags in and he works on the arm. English with a drop toe hold and then he applies a hammer lock with the leg and he falls back to the mat. English with a front face lock and he runs Perkins into the turnbuckles and Gotch with a clothesline in the corner and he tags in.

Perkins with punches but Gotch with a punch and snap mare followed by a head scissors. Gotch does push ups while still in the head scissors. Gotch with a knee drop followed by a European uppercut. Perkins with a forearm to English and Gotch. Gotch gets Perkins on his shoulders and he hits a Finlay Slam. English with a swanton for the three count.

Winners: Aiden English and Simon Gotch

We take a look back at what happened last week when Tyson Kidd walked out on Sami Zayn during their tag title match.

Sami Zayn was interviewed after the match and he tells Tyson that he is a special kind of cat. You need to learn to lose before you learn to win, but he does not like losing. He hates losing more when it is your partner who causes it. It is not over with him and Tyson.

We go to commercial.

Before our next match, CJ Parker makes his way around the ring with his protest sign.

Match Number Two: Xavier Woods versus Bull Dempsey

Woods shakes his wet head at Dempsey before locking up. Dempsey backs Woods into the corner and he gives a clean break. Dempsey with a side head lock and he holds on when Woods tries to send him off the ropes. Woods with forearms and an arm drag but Dempsey with a side head lock.

Woods with punches and a forearm to Dempsey. Dempsey grabs Woods and he connects with a head butt and a series of elbow drops. Dempsey with a near fall. Dempsey with a rear chin lock and he pulls Woods to the mat for a knee drop and he gets a near fall. Dempsey with forearms across the chest and he returns to a reverse chin lock. Woods tries to get to his feet and he succeeds. Woods with punches and a jawbreaker to get out of the hold.

Woods gets sent to the apron and Woods with an enzuigiri that staggers Dempsey. Woods goes for a cross body but Dempsey with a forearm to send Woods to the mat. Dempsey with a splash into the corner followed by the Bulldozer for the three count.

Winner: Bull Dempsey

After the match, Bull says that NXT has let the children run the company too long. You have witnessed the start of an era of devastation. It is the era of the last of a dying breed. It is the era of the wrecking ball, Bull Dempsey.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Summer Rae (with Sasha Banks and Charlotte) versus Becky Lynch

Becky avoids Summer and she does some Irish dancing. Summer decides to show Becky the proper way to dance. Becky does some more dancing, but Summer with a clothesline and kicks to Becky and she gets a near fall. Becky with arm drags into an arm bar. Summer with a forearm followed by a spinning back heel kick for a near fall.

Summer with a modified Million Dollar Dream. On the floor, Charlotte and Sasha have a conversation. Summer pulls Becky back to the mat and Summer yells at Charlotte and Sasha for distracting her. Becky with a rollup for a near fall followed by a leg lariat. Becky with a few leg drops and then she dances around and hits another leg drop for a near fall.

Summer kicks Becky away and Becky blocks a kick and hits an Exploder suplex for the three count.

Winner: Becky Lynch

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four: Colin Cassidy versus Sawyer Fulton

They lock up and Sawyer puts Cassidy in the corner and he connects with knees. Fulton with punches. Fulton with a kick and shoulders in the corner. Fulton with another shoulder in the corner. Fulton with a punch to the head. Fulton with a splash into the corner. Fulton misses a splash into the corner and Cassidy with a big boot and then he hits the elbow drop for the three count.

Winner: Colin Cassidy

After the match, the music for the Legionnaires plays and Marcus Louis and Sylvester Lefort make their way to the ring.

Before they can enter the ring, Enzo Amore’s music plays and he joins Colin in the ring and the Legionnaires stay on the floor.

Enzo takes the mic and he introduces himself and he says that they are the realest guys in the room. He says that there is only one word to describe these French fugazis. He calls them S-A-W-F-T.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Tyler Breeze has replaced Alex Riley at the announce table for the main event.

Match Number Five: Adrian Neville versus Rob Van Dam in a Non Title Match

They shake hands before the bell rings. Van Dam does his thumbs deal before locking up. They lock up and Van Dam with a side head lock take down. Neville with a head scissors and Van Dam with a bridge and he escapes. Van Dam with a side head lock take down and Neville with a head scissors but Van Dam escapes. Neville with arm drags and then he misses a spin kick. Neville with a drop kick and clothesline that sends Van Dam to the floor.

Van Dam gets back into the ring and they lock up. Van Dam with a wrist lock and Neville tries to reverse it but Van Dam with a forearm. Neville with a rollup for a near fall. Van Dam pushes Neville and they have a stand off.

Van Dam with a single leg take down and Neville kicks Van Dam away. Neville with a near fall and then they miss a series of leg drops and moves to the mat. Neville with a kick but Van Dam with a body scissors for a near fall. Van Dam sends Neville into the turnbuckles and then he hits a springboard thrust kick before doing the thumbs while Neville goes to the floor.

Van Dam with a baseball slide and then he goes to the apron and Neville moves out of the way. Van Dam comes off the apron and Neville with a super kick and both men are down. Neville goes back into the ring and then to the apron. Neville goes up top and he hits a moonsault onto Van Dam.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Neville with a front face lock. Van Dam gets to his feet and Van Dam with a punch. Van Dam blocks a suplex. Neville lands on his feet on a suplex attempt. Van Dam with a reverse atomic drop and then he puts Neville on the ropes and Van Dam with a forearm and he goes up top for a side kick and Neville lands on the mat.

Van Dam does the thumbs one more time but Neville tries to roll to the apron. Van Dam with a corkscrew leg drop followed by Rolling Thunder for a near fall. Van Dam with an Irish whip and a running spin kick into the corner. Van Dam with another Irish whip and another round kick into the corner. Van Dam with a kick and he sends Neville into the turnbuckles and then Van Dam with a kick to the head.

Van Dam gets a near fall. Neville with punches and he tries for a sunset flip but Van Dam gets a near fall when he drops down. Neville with a near fall of his own. Van Dam with a clothesline. Van Dam puts Neville in the tree of woe and Van Dam with shoulders to the midsection and a drop kick.

Van Dam with a rollup for a near fall. Neville with a forearm but Van Dam with a forearm. They go back and forth with forearms. Neville with a flying forearm or two. Neville with a back heel kick and a round kick followed by another back heel kick and a drop kick to the temple. Neville goes to the turnbuckles for a missile drop kick.

Neville gets a near fall. Neville goes to the apron and Van Dam moves on a springboard move. Neville with an enzuigiri followed by a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Van Dam with a jawbreaker but Neville with a drop kick to Van Dam. Van Dam with an Irish whip and a standing power slam. Van Dam misses the split legged moonsault and Neville with an inside cradle for a near fall.

Van Dam and Neville exchange forearms. They move on to exchanging kicks. Van Dam sends Neville into the air and Van Dam kicks Neville in the jaw. Van Dam looks around and he goes up top for the Five Star Frog Splash. Neville moves when Van Dam comes off the turnbuckles.

Neville pulls himself up and he hits a hesitation DDT and then he pulls Van Dam into the corner. Neville goes up top for the Red Arrow and he connects and gets the three count.

Winner: Adrian Neville

After the match, Neville and Van Dam shake hands as they show their mutual respect for each other’s talents.
