FIRST ROUND ANNOUNCED FOR CZW TOURNAMENT OF DEATH, WHY IT MAY BE THE FINAL TOURNEY AND MORE

Combat Zone Wrestling will present their annual Tournament of Death this Saturday 6/14 in Townsend, DE at the Markland Farms. The promotion released the following match stipulations for the first round:

*Light Tube Bundles Match: Matt Tremont vs. Big Japan's 'Crazy Monkey' Jun Kasai

*Fans Bring the D**do: Big Japan's 'Black Angel' Jaki Numazawa v. Lucky 13

*Ultraviolent Pits: Danny Havoc vs. Big Japan's Masashi Takeda

*Barbed Wire Madness: Masada vs. Mexican star Aero Boy

The promotion has teased this may be the final tournament. As has been the norm over the last few years, the Delaware State Athletic Commission has made holding the tournament more and more expensive with new rules and regulations. In recent weeks, the Commission has been giving the promotion flack over blood tests for international talents being in Spanish and Japanese, according to one source. With making money harder with each passing year, CZW owner DJ Hyde has openly talked about not going forward with another tournament. As of this past weekend, no final decision had been made.
