CANADIAN WRESTLER DEVON NICHOLSON WINS $2.3 MILLION JUDGMENT AGAINST ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER

CBC News in Canada is reporting that a Judge ruled Tuesday morning that Canadian independent wrestler Devon Nicholson, who wrestles as Hannibal, should be entitled to $2.3 million dollars in damages from Larry Shreeve, professionally known as WWE Hall of Famer Abdullah the Butcher.

Nicholson sued Abdullah in court, claiming that he contracted Hepatitis C from Abdullah following a bloody match in Cochrane, Alberta in 2007 where Abdullah allegedly bladed Nicholson without his consent.

Abdullah, who has publicly denied he has the disease, has 30 days to appeal the ruling. Nicholson has claimed he lost a WWE contract due to the disease, which is now in remission following several experimental treatments.
