RING OF HONOR TELEVISON REPORT: OPEN CHALLENGE FOR TELEVISION TITLE; CHARM CITY STREET FIGHT; AND MORE

We are in Baltimore, Maryland and your announcers are Kevin ‘Old Bay’ Kelly and Steve ‘Natty Boh’ Corino.

Kevin and Steve talk about the main event featuring Kevin Steen and Cliff Compton against Homicide and Eddie Kingston in a Charm City Street Fight.

Match Number One: Ethan Page versus Silas Young

They lock up and Young with a side head lock. Page tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Young lands on his feet and he returns to the side head lock and he takes Page to the mat. Young with a shoulder tackle but Page does not go down. Young yells at Page and tells Page to try to take him down. Page comes off the ropes and Young with a drop kick. Page with a jawbreaker but Young with a clothesline.

Young gets Page on his shoulders but Page gets to his feet and then Young falls over Page and Page gets a near fall. Young runs Page into the corner and connects with shoulders. Young misses a clothesline in the corner and Page with punches. Young with an Irish whip and Page tries to float over and he gets crotched. Young with a springboard clothesline.

Young kicks Page and connects with a series of elbow drops. Young with more elbow drops and he gets a near fall. Young with a reverse chin lock. Page with an elbow but Young with a forearm to the back. Young grabs Page by the ear but Page with forearms. Young with a kick but Page with a back body drop. Page with an enzuigiri and Page with a spinning DDT but Young kicks out at two.

Young with a Finlay Slam and then he pops to the turnbuckles for a headstand Arabian Press but Page moves and Young lands on his feet. Page with a kick and a springboard enzuigiri for a near fall. Page waits for Young to get up but Young hits a uranage back breaker followed by a clothesline for the three count.

Winner: Silas Young

After the match, Young takes the mic and he says never again. Never again will he be disrespected the way he was tonight with this opponent. It is real simple. He is the last real man in professional wrestling. He has spent too damn long being overlooked. If Ring of Honor won’t give him the opportunities he deserves, he will take them whether you like it or not.

We go to a video package to show why we have tonight’s main event.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Tadarius Thomas (with Adam Page and Jimmy Jacobs) versus Caprice Coleman

Before the match starts, Caprice talks to Tadarius and Adam. He says that they are good people, but they might need to reconsider their choice because the people they have associated themselves with do not care about them. It is about your choices because the choices that you make will affect your future. Everyone in Baltimore knows that he has a bright future ahead of you. If you let the wrong people in your head, it can mess you up. Caprice says that he knew a man a long time ago who had so many gifts and they wanted to change him. They killed that man. Three days later, he changed the whole landscape.

Or you can sit here and listen to the Decade. BJ doesn’t have his wit any more. Roderick is not strong any more. The love child of Marilyn Manson and Prince, the artist formerly known as talented running your mind, is this the way you want to go?

Thomas with a back heel kick followed by a round kick and he gets a near fall. Thomas picks up Coleman and sends him to the mat. Coleman with a near fall and punches to Thomas. Thomas with a kick and forearm followed by a knee. Coleman with a drop kick and Jacobs gets on the apron.

Thomas runs Coleman into the corner and he connects with forearms as we go to commercial.

We are back and Thomas misses an enzuigiri. Coleman with an STO and a clothesline followed by a punch and elbow to the top of the head. Coleman charges into the corner but Thomas moves. Coleman with a waist lock followed by a rolling series of Northern Lights suplexes for a near fall. Coleman tries for a reverse atomic drop but Thomas with an elbow and a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.

Thomas with a forearm but Coleman with an Irish whip. Coleman runs into an elbow. Thomas goes to the turnbuckles but Coleman with a leaping rana. Thomas misses a round kick and Coleman hits a leaping flatline and then Coleman with a leg lariat from the top turnbuckle for the three count.

Winner: Caprice Coleman

After the match, Jacobs tells Page to get on the apron and then Coleman tries to talk to Thomas but Jacobs tells Coleman to get out of the ring. Coleman says something to Page before leaving the ring. Jacobs puts his boot on the back of Thomas’ head while berating him.

Jacobs tells Page to get on his hands and knees and Jacobs kicks Page in the ribs as we go to commercial.

We are back and Truth Martini and Jay Lethal make their way into the ring.

Truth says that he has a little story to tell everyone. When he first came into Ring of Honor. His job as a Life Intervention Expert was to take the wrestlers with potential but without the know how to open their eyes and see the big picture to lead them to greatness and championships. Truth says that he did just that.

Something weird happened. Somebody actually opened up his eyes for the first time. He saw a man who was a championship without a title. He saw a man who had greatness without people calling him great. Him and Jay Lethal are one and the same.

Jay says you can stop clapping because you fake guys will go home and call him the worst wrestler and say that he sold out. He calls everyone fake sheep. People ask him why? That is the right question, but you have to ask yourself. Why did you turn your back on him. People say that he sold out for aligning himself with Truth Martini.

Jay reminds everyone that he is the 2012 Survival of the Fittest winner. He is the only person in this company with a victory over Kurt Angle and Ric Flair. He is also the Television Champion. Jay will prove that the television title is second to none. Jay makes an open challenge for the first person to step into this ring.

Cheeseburger comes into the ring while Jay talks.

Truth asks if he is the person stepping up to the plate. Truth says that he admires him in a small way. Today is not his day. Truth says that he will not be held responsible for what Jay does to him.

Match Number Three: Cheeseburger versus Jay Lethal (with Truth Martini) for the Ring of Honor Television Title

Lethal with a super kick and Cheeseburger is down. Lethal with a punch and then they go to the apron. Jay has Truth take a photo of him with Cheeseburger on the apron. Lethal punches him and he breaks the referee’s count. Lethal sends Cheeseburger back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Cheeseburger with punches and forearms but Lethal with a knee and forearm to the back. Lethal gets a near fall.

Lethal with a slam and then he signals that he is going up top. Bob Evans makes his way to ringside to motivate Cheeseburger. Lethal goes up top and he hits the elbow drop and he can only get a near fall. Lethal punches Cheeseburger. Cheeseburger with forearms but Lethal fires back with his own forearms. They go back and forth.

Lethal with a knee but Cheeseburger with chops. Lethal with a knee but Cheeseburger with a cross body for a near fall. Lethal with a back heel kick. Cheeseburger counters the Lethal Injection with a rollup followed by a DDT. Lethal hits the Lethal Injection and he gets the three count.

Winner: Jay Lethal

After the match, Matt Taven comes to the ring and he goes after Martini but Truth and Jay get out of the ring before Taven can do anything.

Lethal and Martini go up the aisle with their back to the entrance, so that allows Tommaso Ciampa to enter through the curtains. Ciampa attacks Lethal while Martini runs away. Taven and Ciampa attack Lethal. Ciampa and Lethal fight in the ring and Taven joins in while security and officials break things up.

Lethal says that he has had enough of them so he wants this end. Next week, a Triple Threat match for the Ring of Honor Television Title.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four: Kevin Steen and Cliff Compton versus Eddie Kingston and Homicide in a Charm City Street Fight

Steen has Kingston and Homicide looking at him with their backs turned to the entrance. This allows Compton to come into the ring behind Homicide and Kingston and Compton hits both of them in the back with a chair.

Compton gives Steen the chair and Kevin hits Homicide in the back with it. Compton and Steen go to the floor and Steen hits Homicide with a chair. Compton and Steen hit Homicide and Kingston with chairs. Kingston sends Compton into the guardrails. Steen hits Homicide with a backpack. Steen sends Kingston into the guardrails.

Compton hits Homicide in the back with a chair. Steen hits Kingston in the knee with a chair. Steen with forearms to Kingston.

Back in the ring, Homicide punches Compton and then he brings a chair to meet Compton’s groin. Steen sends Kingston into the ring post. Homicide puts a chair in the turnbuckles and Homicide Irish whips Compton into the turnbuckles. Homicide drops Steen on the top rope and Homicide with a tope con hilo onto Steen.

Compton sends Kingston into the guardrails. Compton hits Kingston with a chair. Homicide misses a clothesline and Steen catches Homicide and hits an Air Raid Crash. We go to commercial.

We are back and Kingston hits Compton with a chair. Steen gets a streamer covered ladder from under the ring and he brings it into the ring. Steen puts the ladder in the corner and gets Homicide on his shoulders but Homicide gets back to his feet. Homicide with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Homicide tries to send Steen into the ladder but Steen blocks it. Steen with a back drop to Homicide onto the ladder and the ladder bends. Steen with a DDT to Kingston. Steen goes up top but Kingston gets up.

Kingston with punches and he bites Steen. Compton punches Kingston and hits a DDT. Compton brings a chair into the ring and he sends Kingston into the chair with a drop toe hold. Homicide, covered in streamers, boxes the ears and then Compton Irish whips Homicide onto the ladder. Compton with a Michinoku Driver to Homicide. Compton goes to the back.

Compton returns with another ladder. Compton with a kick to the rear end followed by a DDT. Compton puts the original ladder on the mat and he rolls Homicide onto the ladder. Compton climbs the other ladder but Kingston enters the ring and he pushes Compton off the ladder and Compton lands on his ding ding.

Homicide with an Ace Crusher onto the ladder. Kingston tries to get Steen on his shoulders but Steen sends Kingston into Homicide. Steen with an F-Cinq onto the ladder and Steen gets the three count.

Winners: Kevin Steen and Cliff Compton

After the match, Steen and Compton are in the ring together. Steen offers his hand to Compton, but Compton refuses and Cliff leaves through the crowd.

Homicide and Kingston stay at ringside and they leave through the crowd as well.
