RING OF HONOR TELEVISION REPORT: THE DECADE IN ACTION; DOES THE STREAK CONTINUE?; IS THE DECADE SCOUTING NEW TALENT?; WORLD CHAMPION IN ACTION

We start off with a video package about the claim made by Jay Briscoe that he is the World Champion despite the fact that Adam Cole is the man with the title. Jay will get his chance to be a two time champion at Supercard of Honor in Ladder War. What will Michael Bennett’s alliance with Adam Cole mean for the title match? First, they will be in a tag match tonight.

We are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and your announcers are Kevin ‘Drexel’ Kelly and Steve ‘Penn’ Corino.

Match Number One: Tadarius Thomas, ACH, and Andrew Everett versus Roderick Strong, Jimmy Jacobs, and BJ Whitmer

Strong and Everett start things off and they lock up. Strong with a hammer lock but Everett with a reversal. Strong with a reversal into a wrist lock. Everett rolls through and he reverses Strong. Strong with a side head lock. Strong with a shoulder tackle but Everett with a head scissors. Strong with a cartwheel and Everett with a drop kick.

Thomas tags in and he connects with a forearm and slams Strong to get a near fall. Strong backs Thomas into the corner and he chops Thomas. Whitmer tags in and he kicks and chops Thomas in the corner. Whitmer with a punch to Thomas followed by a chop. Whitmer with a forearm to the back. Thomas with an arm drag and drop kick followed by a rolling mare and kick to the head. Thomas gets a near fall.

Jacobs grabs Thomas but Thomas with a kick. Whitmer with a power slam and he sends Thomas to the floor. Jacobs and Strong attack Thomas on the floor before Jacobs sends Thomas back into the ring for a near fall by Whitmer. We go to commercial.

We are back and Strong tags in and he chops ACH in the corner. ACH tries to fight out of the corner with elbows and punches. He kicks Strong and Jacobs and then he leaps over Strong and tags in Thomas. Thomas with a kick to Whitmer and then he avoids Strong and he kicks Strong in the chest. Whitmer with a waist lock but Thomas with a snap mare and kick to Whitmer. Thomas misses a Shining Wizard but he hits Black Magic.

Thomas with kicks to Whitmer and then Strong followed by a German suplex but Jacobs with a double stomp to break up the cover. Jacobs with an Irish whip to Thomas and Jacobs with a forearm. Whitmer with a forearm. Strong misses and Everett is tagged in. Everett with a springboard drop kick to Whitmer and ACH with a kick to Strong in the corner.

Everett with a shooting star press onto Jacobs and Whitmer on the floor. Everett with a springboard shooting star press onto Strong for a near fall. ACH is thrown to the floor. Jacobs with a forearm to Thomas. Thomas sends Jacobs over the top rope and then he hits a tope con hilo onto Jacobs and Whitmer.

ACH with a springboard flip dive onto Jacobs and Whitmer. Everett goes up top for the 450 splash but Strong moves. Everett is able to rotate through and land on his feet but Strong with a leaping knee to the head followed by the Strong Breaker for the three count.

Winners: BJ Whitmer, Jimmy Jacobs, and Roderick Strong

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: RD Evans (with Veda Scott and Ramon) versus Romantic Touch

Evans with a rollup for a near fall. Touch with a monkey flip and then he goes for a second one and he gets a near fall. Touch with a chop and Irish whip. Evans with a Flair Flip to the apron. Evans with a shoulder. Touch tries to kiss Veda and that allows Evans to hit a drop kick and get a near fall.

Evans goes up top but misses a frog splash. Touch with a back body drop or two. Touch runs into a boot in the corner. Touch sends Evans into the turnbuckles and he slams Evans’ head into the turnbuckles. Touch with an Edgecution and then he hits a running neck breaker for a near fall.

Evans blocks a hip toss and he goes for a back slide and Evans gets a near fall. Touch with a drop kick that sends Evans over the top rope to the floor. Touch with a flip dive onto Evans. Touch goes after Veda and Veda goes under the ring. Touch decides to follow after Veda. Evans gets back into the ring at nineteen and the referee gets to twenty but Romantic Touch is unable to get back into the ring.

Winner: RD Evans

After the match, Veda and Touch emerge from under the ring and Touch lights up a cigarette.

RD Evans gets on the mic and he says that you can tell your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren when you saw the Streak of RD Evans. By the time he is done, he will be on the only real man left standing. He can assure you one thing. It does not matter if it is in Philadelphia.

Silas Young makes his way to the ring with his leather strap talking about being a real man.

Evans, Scott, and Ramon head to the back as we go to commercial.

We see the first episode of The Fish Tank with Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly. Their guest is Cheeseburger. He explains the origin of his name. Then we see Fish hit Cheeseburger in the midsection because Cheeseburger’s ego got too big.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Roderick Strong joins Kevin and Steve at the announce table for the next match.

Match Number Three: Adam Page versus Cedric Alexander

They lock up and Page works on the wrist. Alexander with a side head lock and take down but Page with a head scissors. Alexander escapes and gets back to his feet. They lock up and Alexander with a wrist lock. Page reverses into a hammer lock followed by a snap mare into an arm bar. Alexander with a single leg take down. Page with an arm drag but Alexander with an arm drag. Page with another arm drag. Alexander with a head scissors and chop.

Alexander with another chop followed by a forearm. Alexander flips over Page’s back and hits a drop kick. Alexander gets a near fall. Alexander with a punch but Page with an Irish whip. Alexander sends Page over the top rope to the floor. Alexander waits for Page to get up and back into the ring. Alexander with a punch and forearm.

Page with an Irish whip but Alexander sends him to the apron. Alexander with a forearm. Alexander with a shoulder from the apron. Page with a punch to Alexander when he gets caught in the ropes. Page goes to the floor and he sends Alexander back into the ring. Alexander with a punch and Page runs into a boot. Page misses a charge into the corner. Alexander with a kick out of the corner for a near fall.

Page lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Alexander with a back heel kick but Page with a power slam for a near fall. Page tries for an Alabama Slam but Alexander with a sunset flip for a near fall. Alexander sets for an Air Raid Crash but turns it into modified DDT and a near fall.

Page rolls to the floor. Alexander tries for a dive to the floor but Page goes to the apron and Page hits a shooting star press onto Alexander on the floor. Strong tells Page to get the count out but Page sends Alexander back into the ring. Page goes up top and misses a cross body despite Roderick’s warnings. Alexander with a running drop kick into the corner followed by the Lumbar Jack for the three count.

Winner: Cedric Alexander

After the match, Strong gets into the ring to confront Alexander but Cedric leaves the ring. Strong says something to Page and then Strong leaves the ring>

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four: Adam Cole and Michael Bennett (with Maria Kanellis) versus Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe

Cole and Jay start things off and as Jay approaches Cole, Cole backs up and tags in Bennett. Jay with a kick and head butts. Jay with kicks to Bennett in the corner and he chokes Bennett. Mark tags in and he punches Bennett and sends him into the turnbuckles. Mark with punches followed by chops.

Mark sends Bennett into the turnbuckles and Jay tags in. Jay with a boot to Bennett’s head. Jay with a head butt and European uppercut. Mark Irish whips Bennett from the apron and Jay with an elbow. Mark tags in and he connects with a forearm and kicks to Bennett. Mark with a head butt and punches followed by a chop.

Bennett with an irish whip and Mark floats over but he runs into a drop kick from Bennett. Cole tags in and Mark with chops after missing the first one. Mark with a series of chops and kicks followed by a punch. Jay with a punch from the apron and Jay tags in. Jay with punches in the corner and then he chokes Cole in the corner.

Jay with a head butt and then he tags in Mark. Jay with a slam and Mark with a slingshot double stomp. Mark knocks Bennett off the apron and then Mark with a camel clutch and a cross face. Cole with a punch but Mark with chops. Jay tags in and he kicks Cole. Jay with a European uppercut and kicks. Mark tags back in and Cole goes to the floor and calls a time out.

Bennett and Cole discuss strategy while Jay and Mark grab Cole and Bennett and the Briscoes send their opponents into the guardrails.

Mark runs into an elbow from Cole in the corner and Bennett kicks Jay on the floor. Cole with an enzuigiri to Mark followed by drop kick from the floor and Cole gets a near fall. We go to commercial.

We are back and Bennett sends Mark to the mat by the hair. Bennett with a front face lock to Mark and he tags in Cole. Cole with punches and forearms to Mark. Bennett tags in and he connects with forearms. Mark lands on his feet and Jay tags in and he connects with jabs to Bennett followed by a head butt. Jay focuses on Cole for a moment but he remembers that Bennett is in the match. Jay with a drop kick and he goes after Cole, allowing Bennett to connect with a punch.

Jay with a head scissors and neck breaker for a near fall while Mark knocks Cole off the apron. Mark with an elbow to Bennett and Jay with a Falcon Arrow followed by an elbow drop from Mark for a near fall. Mark with a baseball slide to Cole. Mark with a head butt to Cole on the floor. Jay with a head butt to Bennett. Cole with a back body drop to Mark on the floor. Bennett gets off Jay’s shoulders and Bennett with a Box Office Smash for a near fall on Jay.

Cole wants to tag in and he punches Jay. Jay blocks a suplex attempt and he punches Cole. Cole with a drop kick to the knees and a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Cole and Bennett punch Jay and the referee lets it continue despite the double team. Jay with elbows to Cole and Bennett. Cole with forearms and Bennett with a kick.

Cole and Bennett set for a double shoulder tackle and connect. Mark with a springboard double drop kick to Bennett and Cole and then Mark sends Bennett over the top rope to the floor. Mark with a blockbuster off the apron to Bennett.

Mark and Jay corner Cole and they kick and punch Cole. Cole falls victim to a double shoulder tackle. They signal for the Doomsday Device and Jay gets Cole on his shoulders while Mark goes to the apron but Bennett spears Mark off the apron through a table. Cole with two super kicks to the back of the head but Cole can only get a near fall.

Cole sets for the Panama City Destroyer but Jay counters with a back body drop. Jay misses a boot and Cole sets for the Florida Key but Jay backs Cole into the corner. Cole with a kick and then Cole tries for the Florida Key but Jay with a snap mare. They each go for clotheslines and then Cole with a back heel kick. Jay with a super kick and a Jay Driller attempt. Jay with a roaring elbow followed by a Jay Driller for the three count.

Winners: Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe

After the match, Jay grabs the Ring of Honor World Title and holds it with his replica belt.
