MORE ON WWE BUYOUT RUMOR

In speaking to a number of people within WWE today, no one gave any credence to the rumor, started on a British financial blog, that AMC was in negotiations to purchase WWE.

It should also be noted that not even a week ago, WWE CFO George Barrios was interviewed by Bloomberg.com regarding the company's domestic television rights negotiations and specifically said they were not in "merger" talks.

So, nothing to see here folks.
