Ring of Honor announced this afternoon that ROH champion Adam Cole vs. Jay Briscoe in Ladder War V has been set for the Friday 4/4 ROH Supercard of Honor event in New Orleans. The match would ultimately settle the ongoing storyline of who is the true ROH champion - Cole, who won the belt in a tournament, or Briscoe, who never lost the belt and had it stripped of him last year due to "injury."

The promotion also announced today that Shinsuke Nakamura was the latest New Japan Pro Wrestling talent heading to 5/10 in Toronto and 5/17 in NYC. With the NJPW announcement and a lot of the recent live events, there's been a huge surge back towards the essence of what made ROH so unique and it's been a joy to watch.

If you haven't heard, NYC on 5/17 is completely sold out. Hopefully you weren't shut out. We did try to warn you. That's probably the quickest sellout in ROH history.

Death Before Dishonor 12 will be 8/23 in Chicago Ridge, IL.

ROH returns to action next Saturday 3/22 in Dayton, Ohio featuring Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe vs. Adam Cole & Michael Bennett, AJ Styles vs. Chris Hero for the first time in ROH, ROH TV champ Tommaso Ciampa vs. Matt Taven, Kevin Steen vs. Bobby Fish, Michael Elgin vs. Cedric Alexander and more to be announced.
