RING OF HONOR TELEVISION REPORT: FOUR CORNER SURVIVAL; AMERICAN WOLVES VERSUS OUTLAW INC; INTERVIEW WITH ONE OF THE CHALLENGERS IN THE FINAL BATTLE MAIN EVENT

Ring of Honor continues with footage from their house shows as we move closer to Final Battle in New York City next weekend.

We are in Columbus, Ohio and your announcers are Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino.

Steve says that he is working on an exclusive interview with a member of the Final Battle Main Event.

Match Number One: Outlaw Inc. (Homicide and Eddie Kingston) versus Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards

Kingston and Richards start things off and Kingston with a crane kick set up but he hurts his hamstring. They lock up and Kingston with a waist lock but Richards with a wrist lock. Kingston with a hammer lock and Richards gets to the ropes. Richards avoids a back fist.

Homicide tags in and they lock up. Homicide with a wrist lock and side head lock take down but Richards with a head scissors and Homicide escapes. Edwards tags in and we get dueling Eddie chants for both Eddies. Edwards with a waist lock and Homicide with a hammer lock but Edwards with a reversal. Homicide with a snap mare and they make a series of reversals on the mat.

Kingston tags in and the Eddie chants start and they pay tribute to Eddie Guerrero. They lock up and Edwards with a front face lock and Richards tags in and he punches Kingston. Richards with a hammer lock and Edwards tags in. The Wolves with a double back elbow and Edwards with a near fall.

Richards tags back in and he works on the arm. Edwards tags in and he continues to work on the arm. Richards with another tag and he connects with a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Edwards with a double stomp to the arm. Edwards wraps the arm in the ropes. Richards tags in after head butting Kingston from the apron.

Homicide tags in and he rakes the eyes. They hit a double shoulder tackle on Richards and Homicide knocks Edwards off the apron. Homicide with a front face lock and Kingston tags back in. Kingston with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall and Edwards breaks up the cover and Edwards knocks Homicide off the apron.

Kingston with forearms to Richards and Edwards. Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish make their way to ringside while Edwards gives Kingston a drop toe hold followed by a drop kick from Richards. Edwards tags in and we go to commercial.

We are back and Richards with a trailer hitch on Kingston but Eddie gets to the ropes. Richards sends Kingston into Edwards and then he tags in Edwards. Edwards with a suplex for a near fall. Homicide distracts the referee and Kingston with a shot followed by a chop. Edwards with chops of his own. Richards tags in and Edwards with chops while Richards kicks Kingston.

Richards gets sent to the apron and he accidentally connects with the enzuigiri to Edwards when Kingston moves. Richards comes off the turnbuckles and Kingston catches him and hits an Exploder. Homicide tags in and he knocks Edwards off the apron. Homicide with a flapjack. Homicide with a back elbow to Richards followed by the Three Amigos. Homicide points to the turnbuckles for the frog splash and he goes up top but Edwards with a boot to knocks Homicide off the turnbuckles.

Richards kicks Kingston and then Richards tries for the dead lift superplex but Kingston gets Richards on his shoulders. Edwards stops Homicide and Richards sends Kingston to the floor. Homicide leaps over Richards and Richard goes for a handspring back elbow but Homicide with an Ace Crusher and a Sliding D to the back of Richards’ neck but Edwards breaks up the cover.

Edwards is sent to the floor. Homicide tries for the Cop Killer but Richards avoids it. The Wolves hit Alarm Clock and then Edwards and Richards go up top but Kingston pushes Edwards off. Richards misses the Double Stomp when Homicide moves. Homicide pushes Richards towards Kingston for a back fist. Kingston gets Richards on his shoulders and Homicide with the bulldog for the three count.

Winners: Homicide and Eddie Kingston

After the match, Homicide tells Kevin Kelly that they want to face the Tag Team Champs at Final Battle.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kevin and Steve talk about how Outlaw Inc have earned a tag title match against Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish. Steve says that Homicide and Eddie Kingston are Ring of Honor’s toughest tag team right now.

Kevin Steen will face Michael Bennett at Final Battle in a Stretcher Match. In addition to that stipulation, the loser of the match will never be able to use the piledriver again.

We take a look at a video package about the match. Maria says that Michael Bennett’s piledriver not only wins matches, but it ends careers. Michael says that there is a funny feeling when you hit a piledriver.

Kevin talks about how Michael Bennett was crying after giving the piledriver to BJ.

Michael talks about the power you get when you use the piledriver.

Michael says that it will be extra special when he gives Steen a piledriver. We see the piledriver that Bennett gave to Steen before Steen’s match against Eddie Edwards.

Michael and Maria talk about how everyone loves the cuddly teddy bear. Michael says that he will have the last laugh.

Maria says that Kevin likes to stick his nose in everyone’s business. She says that Michael will get to see that Michael’s piledriver is the best.

Kevin says that if he gets his hands on Maria, he will not do what most men want to do to Maria. He will drop her on her head.

Steen says that he has had his piledriver taken away from him before. He enjoys dropping people on their heads. Steen says that he will put Bennett on a stretcher.

Michael says that he will have an extra special piledriver for Steen at Final Battle.

Match Number Two: Roderick Strong versus Jay Lethal versus Matt Taven (with Truth Martini and Hoopla Hotties) versus Michael Elgin in a Four Corner Survival Match

Strong and Lethal start off as a result of the pre-match coin flip. They lock up and Lethal with a side head lock. Strong with a wrist lock but Lethal with a reversal. Strong with a reversal of his own. Lethal with a kick to gt out of the hold. Taven enters the ring and Strong and Lethal chop him. Taven with an elbow to Strong but Lethal sends Taven over the top rope. Strong with a leg lariat for a near fall.

Strong with a back breaker to Lethal for a near fall. Strong with a front face lock and Elgin tags in and he waits for Lethal to release the hold and Elgin with a side head lock take down. Lethal with a top wrist lock into a side head lock. Taven makes the tag and Lethal punches Taven but Lethal is sent to the apron.

Taven with a jawbreaker and then Taven with a delayed vertical suplex but Elgin pops up and he kicks Taven. Elgin shows Taven how the delayed vertical suplex is done. Strong kicks Elgin but Elgin does not let Taven go down. Elgin with a near fall but Lethal breaks it up.

Taven backs Elgin into the corner and Lethal tags in. Taven with a drop kick to Lethal and he collides with Elgin. Lethal with a springboard drop kick to Strong on the apron and then Lethal sends Taven over the top rope but Taven skins the cat. Lethal sends Taven to the floor. Lethal with a suicide dive onto Elgin and then to Strong. Taven puts Scarlett on the apron to stop Lethal from the third suicide dive. Taven pulls Lethal to the floor through Scarlett’s legs and then Lethal is sent into the guardrails.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Taven rolls Lethal into the ring and gets a near fall. Taven with a swinging neck breaker followed by a springboard senton for a near fall. Lethal and Taven exchange punches. Lethal with a hip toss and cartwheel followed by a drop kick. Elgin tags in and he connects with back elbows to Taven. Elgin with an Exploder followed by a running clothesline into the corner. Taven with a waist lock and he backs Taven into the corner.

Elgin catches Taven and hits a uranage for a near fall. Elgin points to the turnbuckles and calls for the Buckle Bomb. Taven with a bicycle kick. Lethal comes in and he hits a running forearm into the corner. Elgin with a leaping butt bump to Lethal. Strong with a running knee to Lethal followed by Taven and Elgin. Strong with kicks to all three men. Strong puts Lethal on the turnbuckles for a superplex.

Strong gets a near fall. Taven and Strong exchange forearms. Strong with a chop and then he blocks a bicycle kick and hits a package back breaker. Lethal and Strong punch each other. Strong and Lethal with chops to Elgin. Elgin with a knee to block a handspring move by Lethal. Strong with a roaring elbow to Elgin.

Elgin gets Strong on his back and then he picks up Lethal for a Fallaway slam and Samoan drop for a near fall on Strong. Taven with a super kick to Elgin. Lethal with a super kick to Taven. Lethal with the Lethal Combination to Strong. Lethal goes up top and he thinks about the elbow drop to Strong but he sees Taven on the table and Lethal with the elbow drop to Taven through the table.

Elgin and Strong with forearms. Elgin with a bicycle kick. Strong with a kick to Elgin. Elgin with a boot to Strong. Elgin misses a clothesline but he does not miss a second time. Elgin with a suplex into a side slam for a near fall. Elgin with a buckle bomb but Strong counters the power bomb. Elgin with a back elbow.

Strong with a running knee followed Death By Roderick and the Sick Kick but Elgin kicks out at two. Strong sets for the Gibson Driver but Elgin sends Strong into the corner. Elgin blocks it again and Elgin with a back fist. Elgin with a modified Rainmaker followed by the spinning sit out power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Michael Elgin

We go to commercial.

We are back and Steve Corino is in the ring and he is going to interview one of the participants in the main event of Final Battle. He brings out Jay Briscoe.

Steve thanks Jay for coming out for the interview. Steve mentions a change in Jay since he vacated the World Title. With Cole as the champion going into Final Battle, Steve asks him about having to face Adam Cole and Michael Elgin.

Jay tells Steve that he has it wrong. He never got beat so he is still the champion.

Steve points out that he knows that Jay is frustrated, but Adam Cole is the World Champion. As unpopular as that seems, Jay is not the World Champion. Steve asks Jay what is his strategy.

Jay says that Corino has called him a liar. Jay says that he has made an open challenge to defend his title.

Steve says that he has never called Jay a liar. He is sure that there is someone to accept the challenge. He wants Jay to calm down.

Jay tells Steve that he should take his sunglasses off because he is going to whoop his ass.

Silas Young attacks Jay from behind. Mark Briscoe comes out and he stops Silas before Silas can strap Jay. Mark chokes Young with a strap.

Adam Cole comes to the ring and he tries to hit Briscoe with the belt. Jay moves and Briscoe attacks Cole. Elgin comes out and he back fists Briscoe. Elgin sets for a power bomb to Briscoe but Cole with a super kick to the back of Elgin’s head.

Cole hits Briscoe with the title belt. Cole picks up Jay’s belt and then he drops it.

We go to credits.
