11/7 WWE RESULTS FROM DUBLIN, IRELAND

By Nick Scott on 2013-11-07 20:20:12

The O2 was 75 percent full.

Match 1: Big E Langston, Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. The Shield.

Shield were WAY over with the crowd, well until Roman Reigns jumped over the top rope and landed flat on his ass. The crowd kept cheering you fell over.

Cody got the pin on Dean Ambrose.  Everybody worked hard,  Very good match.

2. Fandango vs. Santino Marella.  Yawn.  This match was what you would expect.  A comedy borefest.

Santino won with The Cobra.

3. Zack Ryder vs. Wade Barrett.  Lots of boos for Barrett.  Barrett cut a cheap heat promo about Ireland not getting into The WOrld Cup and said that England is in.

Barrett wins with the Barrage.  Not a squash but just ok.  The crowd wasn't really into this one.

4. Aksana vs. Natalya. Decent pop for Natty.

Aksana is terrible.  Thank God for Natalya.  Natalya put on The Sharpshooter and suddenly the crowd woke up.

Natalya won.

5. Kofi Kingston vs. Miz. The crowd were delighted with hope of a good match.  We got a great match

KOFI wins.

6. Randy Orton vs. The Big Show.  Most of the audience came to see Orton.

Really long entrance for Orton.   Show is very motivated.  Ok match. Shield interference.

Big Show wins by DQ.

Intermission.

7. Jack Swagger vs. Fernando (of the Los Matadors).

Zeb Colter cut a promo on the crowd.   No Antonio Cesaro.   Tortito distracted Swagger and the Matadors use twin magic into a roll up.

Fernando is your winner.

8 Damien Sandow vs. Dolph Ziggler.  Sandow cut a promo on Ziggler.  Ok match.

Sandow wins clean.

9. John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio.  Yeah Superman is here.  I wish I couldn't see you.  Fans choose the stipulation, a Dublin street fight.  The fans are chanting for tables.

Wow the 5 moves of doom.  Who knew?

Cena wins and cuts a "heartfelt" promo that they weren't doing a Dublin show without him.

So the whole reason I came to this show was see Daniel Bryan.  Bryan was heavily advertised for this show on radio ads up to the show.  So no Bryan and no CM Punk or RVD to replace him.  I want my money back.  If they had said Bryan wasn't here I would have demanded my money back and left.  Instead I got barley passable show and blatant false advertising.
