COMPLETE SHINE14 iPPV REPORT: RAIN VERSUS MATSUMOTO; SHIMMER TAG TITLE MATCH; HAVOK VERSUS KNIGHT; AND MORE

Welcome to coverage of SHINE 14 from the Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida.

Your host tonight is Lenny Leonard.

Match Number One: Su Yung versus Solo Darling (with Daffney)

Solo is dressed as Shark Girl tonight.

Solo has some candy for Su and Su accepts it. Su chokes on the candy and the referee calls for the bell as Solo applies a waist lock. Solo with a cross body and then leaps over Su and hits her in the rear end. Solo with a side head lock but Su with a wrist lock. Solo rolls through and she reverses the hold and then she bites Su’s hand.

Su misses a chop and then she reverses the hold. Solo with a reversal and she bites the hand again. The crowd wants Solo to bite her again and she does it. Solo continues to bite the hand and the referee checks on it. Solo continues with the arm bar and then she bites Su on the rear end.

Solo with a head butt to the midsection and Su returns fire with a head butt of her own but Su is the one who feels the damage. Solo with a take down. Solo with a near fall. Su with a slap and she works on the head. Solo with a cloverleaf but Su escapes.

Solo goes to the turnbuckles but Su moves out of the way. Su goes to the turnbuckles and Solo bites Su in the rear end one more time. Solo climbs the turnbuckles and she chops Su and bites her again. Solo with chops and a double sledge for a near fall.

Solo hugs Su but Su sends Solo into the turnbuckles and then she hits a splash into the corner. Solo goes under the ring and the music for Jaws plays. Su sees someone coming from under the ring and Su is distracted long enough to allow Solo to get the rollup for the three count.

Winner: Solo Darling

Match Number Two: International Dream Match Shanna versus Mia Yim versus Savannah Summers

Shanna has something to say about her opponents before they lock up. Shanna and Savannah work over Mia. Mia hangs in the ropes and Savannah goes through the ropes. Mia with a rollup on Shanna. Mia with forearms to Shanna against the ropes. Mia with a rana to Shanna and then Mia drop kicks Savannah off the apron. Mia with forearms to Shanna in the corner.

Shanna with an Irish whip but Mia with a tarantula that is broken up by Savannah. Savannah attacks Mia on the floor while the referee checks on Shanna. Savannah kicks Mia when she returns to the ring. Savannah with an Irish whip to Mia and then Shanna and Savannah with forearms into the corner and Mia is down.

Shanna with a suplex to Mia. Savannah kicks Mia and connects with a double sledge to the back. Shanna with a double sledge of her own. Savannah chokes Mia and Shanna with more kicks. Savannah with shoulders in the corner to Mia.

Shanna chokes Mia with her boot and the referee warns her. Shanna chokes Mia and then she snap mares Mia and kicks her in the back. Mia trips Shanna and Savannah when they try for a double clothesline and Mia with single leg crabs to both women. Shanna and Savannah roll through to escape and then they hit a double drop kick for a near fall.

There appears to be some tension between Shanna and Savannah but it is short lived. Savannah puts Mia on the top rope and Shanna with a double stomp to the back and both cover Mia but they argue over who should get the win.

Savannah with forearms but Mia with forearms and chops. Shanna goes up top while this continues. Shanna with a cross body onto Savannah but Mia breaks it up. Mia with a kick to Shanna followed by a clothesline and drop kick. Mia sets for a suplex on Shanna and Savannah gets involved and Mia with a double suplex to Shanna and Savannah.

Mia goes up top and hits a double missile drop kick. Mia gets a near fall on Shanna who gets her hand on the ropes. Mia with kicks to Savannah but Savannah holds on to the ropes on an O’Connor Roll attempt. Mia with a German suplex to Savannah for a near fall. Mia sets for a package piledriver but Shanna runs her into the turnbuckles. Mia tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Shanna escapes.

Shanna with a Dragon suplex for a near fall. Savannah with a TKO stunner for a near fall that is broken up by Mia. Savannah clotheslines Shanna and sends her to the floor. Mia with a package piledriver for the three count.

Winner: Mia Yim

Match Number Three: International Dream Match: Nikki Storm versus Nikki Roxx (with Daffney)

Storm tells Roxx that she should be kissing her feet. Storm has something to say to Daffney and Roxx with a rollup for a near fall. Roxx with a small package for a near fall. Roxx gets another near fall but Storm goes to the floor to regroup. She backs into Daffney who screams in her face.

Storm returns to the ring and she backs into Roxx and she freaks out a bit. Storm tries to find her happy place but Roxx won’t let her leave the ring. Roxx with a slam and hip toss. Roxx with a Samoan drop for a near fall. Roxx with an Irish whip but she runs into knees from Storm. Storm with a clothesline and then she slams Roxx’ head into the mat.

Storm with a head butt to the midsection followed by a punch. Storm with a kick to the midsection. Roxx with elbows and forearms. Storm with a rake of the eyes and then she sends Roxx face first into the mat.

Roxx with forearms and punches to Storm. Storm with a kick followed by a neck breaker for a near fall. Storm pushes Roxx abut Roxx with a fallaway slam and both women are down. Roxx and Storm exchange sending each other face first into the mat. Roxx and Storm exchange forearms but Roxx with the advantage.

Roxx with a kick and sit out spinebuster for a near fall. Roxx shows some frustration and that allows Storm to connect with a series of knees. Storm gets Roxx on her shoulders but Roxx escapes. Storm with forearms to the back. Storm gets a near fall. Storm with a Fujiwara arm bar and Roxx is able to get to the ropes.

Storm with a neck breaker and then she yells at Roxx. Storm goes to the turnbuckles and she hits a diving head butt but Storm feels the impact more than Roxx. Roxx with forearms to the back but Storm with an X Factor for a near fall.

Daffney gets on the apron and Mercedes Martinez pulls Daffney off the apron. Roxx with forearms followed by the Voodoo Drop. Mercedes gets in the ring and Roxx have some words. Mercedes is pulled out of the ring and Storm hits Roll the Dice for the three count.

Winner: Nikki Storm

Match Number Four: Leva, Santana, and Amber O'Neal versus Sassy Stephie, Nevaeh, and Jessie Belle Smothers

Leva is dressed as Pyramid Head for this match.

Stephie, Neveah, and Jessie attack Santana, Amber, and Leva. Leva with a super kick to Neveah while Stephie and Jessie go to the floor. Leva with a dive off the apron onto Stephie and Jessie. Santana with a suicide dive and Amber is the only one in the ring. Neveah with a knee to Amber and she gets a near fall.

Neveah kicks Amber and sends her into the corner. Neveah chokes Amber and then Jessie does the same while the referee is not looking. Stephie with a shoulder and then she tags in and connects with another shoulder. Stephie with a snap mare and she tags in Jessie. Jessie kicks Amber in the corner. Jessie chokes Amber in the ropes.

Jessie with a snap mare and she tags in Stephie who drives her head into the mat. Neveah tags in and she hits a sliding clothesline after knocking Leva off the apron. Leva comes into the ring and the referee has to deal with her while Jessie comes in and Irish whips Amber into the turnbuckles. Amber kicks Jessie across the ring and Leva and Santana punch her. Amber with an X Factor for a near fall.

Leva tags in and she kicks Neveah and she hits the Stroke and gets a near fall. Leva with a splash into the corner. Leva blocks a kick by Neveah and hits a neck breaker but Neveah has her foot on the ropes. Leva goes to the turnbuckles and misses when Neveah moves. Neveah with a Death Valley Driver and both women are down.

The referee has to deal with Stephie and he does not see a tag. Stephie comes in and connects with elbows to the back and she gets a near fall. Stephie with a clothesline for a near fall. Neveah tags back in and she hits a suplex and gets a near fall. Neveah knocks Amber off the apron and then she sends Leva into the turnbuckles. Jessie and Stephie double team Leva while the referee is out of position. Jessie gets a near fall.

Stephie tags back in and they hit a double suplex on Leva and Stephie gets a near fall. Stephie works on the back and she tags Neveah back in. Neveah with an Irish whip and kick to the midsection. Neveah punches Leva in the corner and Leva is able to escape. She kicks Neveah and then hits a lungblower and both women are down.

Stephie and Santana tag in and Santana with clotheslines followed by an Irish whip. Santana with a handspring elbow followed by a kick for a near fall. Amber tags in and they hit a double drop toe hold into a double crab. Neveah and Jessie with a double dragon sleeper. Leva climbs on Neveah’s back and then after the carnage is cleared in the ring, Amber gets a near fall on Stephie.

Santana tags in and she kicks Stephie and gets a near fall. Leva goes after Neveah and they go to the floor. Jessie tags in and Stephie blocks a side Russian Leg Sweep and Stephie hits Kiss my Sass for the three count.

Winners: Jessie Belle Smothers, Neveah, and Sassy Stephie

Match Number Five: Mercedes Martinez vs. Kimberly (with her Thing)

Martinez teases grabbing Kimberly’s thing but instead she pushes Kimberly to the mat. Mercedes pushes Kimberly out of the corner and Kimberly with a snap mare and she gets a near fall. Kimberly with a rollup for a near fall. Mercedes grabs Kimberly when Kimberly tries to go between Mercedes’ legs. Mercedes with a vertical choke but Kimberly takes Martinez to the mat and she applies an arm bar submission.

Martinez with a choke slam and she punches Kimberly. Martinez slaps and punches Kimberly. Martinez sends Kimberly into the turnbuckles and kicks her. Martinez with a choke and the referee warns her. Martinez continues to choke Kimberly and she follows with a punch and forearm. Martinez misses a kick and Kimberly with a TKO for a near fall.

Kimberly with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Martinez catches Kimberly when she tries to float over and Martinez with an Alabama Slam and then she applies a Boston Crab. Kimberly tries to get to the ropes but Martinez pulls her into the center of the ring. Kimberly counters with a cloverleaf.

Martinez gets to the ropes and the referee forces Kimberly to release the hold. Martinez with a rollup but she uses the ropes and the referee warns her. Martinez with a Yakuza kick and a hesitation drop kick into the corner. Martinez gets a near fall.

Martinez sends Kimberly into the turnbuckles and then she chops Kimberly. Martinez with another chop as they go around the ring. Martinez has gone to three of the turnbuckles, but Kimberly grabs her Thing. Martinez chops Thing and slams it into the mat.

Kimberly with a spear but Martinez has the rope to stop the count. Martinez goes for the fisherman’s suplex but Kimberly blocks it and she hits a bulldog out of a wheelbarrow. Kimberly sees Daffney at ringside and she talks to her. Martinez sees Daffney get on the apron and she goes to the floor but Nikki Roxx and Solo Darling surround her.

Martinez gets out of the ring and she gets counted out.

Winner: Kimberly (by count out)

Match Number Six: SHIMMER Tag Team Title Match 3G (Kellie Skater and Tomoka Nakagawa) versus Valkyrie (Allysin Kay and Ivelisse [with April Hunter])

Allysin takes the belt before the match starts but she is forced back into the ring to give it back to the referee.

Kay and Skater start things off. They lock up and Skater with a full nelson. Kay with a front face lock. But Skater with a reversal. Kay with a side head lock but Skater with a reversal. Skater with a shoulder tackle but she wants to make sure that Kay’s top is legal. She argues with the referee.

Kay tells Skater to try again but Kay pulls Skater to the mat by the hair and Kay gets a near fall. Skater wants a test of strength and Kay gets psyched up to do it. They lock up and Kay pulls Skater to the mat by Skater with a drop toe hold.

Ivelisse and Nakagawa tag in. They lock up and Ivelisse with a wrist lock and she takes Nakagawa to the mat. Ivelisse with a kick but Nakagawa with a forearm. Ivelisse with more kicks and Nakagawa with more forearms. Nakagawa has a kick blocked and Ivelisse with a leg sweep and they exchange near falls.

Ivelisse with a back heel kick and she brings Nakagawa into her corner and Kay tags in. Skater tags in and she clotheslines Kay. Skater sends Nakagawa onto Kay for a near fall. Nakagawa with a kick to Kay. Kay with an Irish whip but Nakagawa floats over. Nakagawa with a drop kick.

Nakagawa with another drop kick and Ivelisse tags in and hits a tornado DDT. Ivelisse with a back breaker and then she applies a camel clutch and she turns it into a Japanese Stranglehold. Skater with a kick to get Ivelisse to release the hold. Ivelisse punches Nakagawa. Ivelisse with a near fall.

Kay tags in and she kicks Nakagawa. Kay chokes Nakagawa while the referee deals with Skater. Kay with a snap mare and a reverse chin lock. Nakagawa gets to the ropes and Kay releases the hold. Kay with kicks in the corner while the referee warns her. Kay with more kicks and then she chokes Nakagawa. Kay slaps Nakagawa and kicks her.

Kay chokes Nakagawa in the ropes. Nakagawa with forearms but she misses an enzuigiri. Hunter pulls Skater off the apron while the referee deals with Ivelisse. Kay gets a near fall. Kay with a reverse chin lock. Ivelisse tags in and she punches Nakagawa. Ivelisse with a rolling mare and then she kicks Nakagawa and gets a near fall. Ivelisse slaps Nakagawa.

Ivelisse with a Northern Lights suplex and bridge for a near fall. Ivelisse with a front face lock into a guillotine choke. Ivelisse with forearms to the back but Nakagawa gets to the ropes. Ivelisse gets a near fall. Kay tags back in and she sends Nakagawa into the turnbuckles. Kay with a splash followed by belly-to-back suplex and bridge but Skater breaks up the cover.

Kay with a kick to Nakagawa but Nakagawa with a kick to Kay and both women are down. Skater and Ivelisse tag in and Skater with forearms and kicks. Skater with a hip toss and leg drop for a near fall. Nakagawa kicks Skater by accident when Ivelisse ducks and Ivelisse gets a near fall.

Kay tags in and she punches Skater and gets a near fall. Nakagawa tags in and she kicks Kay in the head but Ivelisse breaks up the cover. Nakagawa with a drop kick that sends Ivelisse to the floor. Skater and Nakagawa with a double kick for the three count.

Winners: Kellie Skater and Tomoka Nakagawa

After the match, Allysin and Ivelisse discuss what caused them to lose the match.

Jessicka Havok takes the mic and she enters the ring. She tells Allysin that what happened last month was an accident. They have talked since. She reminds Allysin about the ultimatum. It is them or her. Havok reminds Jessicka about the discussions to start Valkyrie. Jessicka says that she had other plans but Allysin should do what she needs to do what is best for her.

Allysin is getting blamed for their losses.

Allysin Kay does not need Valkyrie. She is talented enough on her own and she is her best friend. She helped Allysin get to where she is and she took her under her wing. She tells Allysin that she is better than this and better than Valykrie.

Allysin wants to know how Jessicka can come into the ring during her time to shine. Allysin says that Jessicka is right.

Allysin and Jessicka hug and Jessicka raises her hand.

Match Number Seven: International Dream Match: Amazing Kong versus Madison Eagles

The referee checks Eagles and she finds some silverware.

Eagles has some trouble taking off her sweatshirt and Kong with a clothesline for a near fall. Eagles with forearms but Kong with chops and it forces Eagles to the apron. Kong tosses Eagles across the ring by her hair and she chokes her in the corner. Eagles kicks Kong away and she connects with a series of forearms but she does not move Kong.

Kong with a chop but Eagles with kicks. Eagles with a snap mare and she gets a near fall. Eagles with a front face lock but Kong with a side head lock. Eagles with kicks to the back and she starts to work on Kong’s arm. Eagles with a Fujiwara arm bar. Kong gets to her feet and she hits a side slam. Kong with a kick to Eagles and she works the arm and applies a submission hold.

Kong with a head butt and Eagles goes to the mat. Kong gets a near fall. Eagles with punches but she tries for a head butt and she feels it more than Kong does. Eagles with another head butt and she gets the same result. Eagles decides to try something else and she connects with three boots to the chest and she gets a series of near falls.

Eagles with a sleeper followed by forearms. Kong gets back to her feet. Eagles with crossfaces to Kong but Kong escapes the hold. Kong with a clothesline followed by a slam. Kong misses a splash when Eagles moves and Madison gets a near fall. Eagles with knees to Kong.

Eagles with clotheslines in the corner and then she hits a double knee splash. Eagles charges into the corner a second time and Kong with a shoulder tackle. Kong with an Irish whip and splash. Kong with a splash for a near fall. Eagles goes to the apron and does not want to get back into the ring.

Eagles with an Irish whip and Yakuza kick. Eagles with a German suplex and bridge for a near fall. Eagles tries for another suplex but Kong blocks it. Kong with a back fist and Eagles goes down. Eagles has her hand under the ropes so the referee stops his count. Kong goes to the turnbuckles but Eagles with a Yakuza Kick and Kong goes down. Eagles gets Kong on her back but Kong with a sunset flip for a near fall.

Eagles goes for the confiscated weapon and the referee takes it. Eagles loads her boot with something and she kicks Kong in the head but Kong kicks out. Kong with elbows and then Kong hits the Implant Buster but Eagles grabs the ropes.

Kong pulls Eagles to the corner and Kong goes to the turnbuckles and hits a splash for the three count.

Winner: Amazing Kong

Match Number Eight: Last Woman Standing: Jessicka Havok versus Saraya Knight

Saraya hits a splash off the stage onto Havok before the match starts. They fight around the ring and Knight kicks Havok. Knight sends Havok’s head into the ring post. Knight with a forearm to the back and Knight goes under the ring and gets a chair. Knight hits Havok wihthe chair. Havok fights back and she kicks Knight. Knight hits Havok with the chair. Havok is down and the referee starts his count. Havok gets up and Knight with a boot to Havok and the referee starts his count.

Havok with a kick to Knight and then she runs Knight into the pole at ringside. The referee starts his count while Havok grabs a chair and she hits Knight with it. She tosses the chair and it gets stuck on her head. The referee starts his count.

Knight gets up and Knight with a low blow followed by a kick. Knight hits Havok in the head with the chair and the referee starts his count one more time. Havok gets up at eight. Knight pokes Havok in the eye and they go into the ring for the first time in the match. Knight with an Irish whip and a running elbow. Knight with a drop kick to the lower midsection. Knight with another drop kick.

Havok runs Knight into the corner and she kicks Knight and face washes her. Havok with another face wash to Knight. Havok thinks about another one but Knight blocks it and she goes low. Knight slaps Havok but Havok gets up and Knight slaps her again.

Havok goes to the floor and she slams Knight to the floor. The referee starts his count for Havok. They return to the ring and Havok with a kick and then she hits a running Samoan drop. The referee starts his count for Knight but Knight returns to her feet. Havok goes to the turnbuckles for a super Samoan drop but Knight counters and she sends Havok to the mat.

Knight covers but there are no pinfalls. Knight with another low kick.

Allysin Kay comes to ringside.

Knight and Havok exchange punches and forearms. Knight with a punch and Havok is down and the referee with a count. Havok with a kick and they fight against the stage. Knight slams Havok’s head into the bar. Knight sends Havok into the pole on the bar. Havok catches Knight and hits a tombstone piledriver onto the bar.

Knight falls to the floor. Havok sends Knight into the ring post. Kay gives Havok a discus clothesline. The referee starts to count both women out. Havok falls back to the floor at nine and Knight is on her feet.

Winner: Saraya Knight

After the match, Kay brings Havok back into the ring and Ivelisse and April Hunter come to make it a four on one attack. Officials come to the ring to break things up.

Match Number Nine: SHINE Title Match: Rain (with April Hunter) versus. Hiroyo Matsumoto

Rain offers her hand to Matsumoto as a gesture of international friendship, but it was a trap and Rain sends Matsumoto into the corner. Rain with kicks in the corner. Rain with a forearm followed by an Irish whip but Matsumoto with a shoulder tackle. Matsumoto with a slam and a knee drop. Matsumoto with a drop kick and she gets a near fall.

Matsumoto with kicks to Rain. Matsumoto appears to focus on the injured right hand. Matsumoto with a modified Indian Death Lock but Rain is able to escape. Matsumoto with a double sledge to the back and she tries for a German suplex but Rain runs Matsumoto into the ropes and Rain gets a near fall.

Rain with a forearm followed by a cravate. Rain chokes Matsumoto in the corner and the referee warns Rain. Rain returns to the cravate and then she hits a running cutter for a near fall. Rain with a Japanese stranglehold and she puts her knee in Matsumoto’s back. Rain kicks Matsumoto in the head and she gets a near fall.

Rain gets another near fall. Rain with a forearm to the bck but Matsumoto pushes Rain. They push each other. Rain with a forearm but Matsumoto with a kick. Rain with a drop kick and she gets a near fall. Rain with an Irish whip but Matsumoto gets her feet up. Rain with a forearm and that knocks Matsumoto to the floor. Rain goes to the floor and she connects with forearms against the apron. Rain sends her into the apron. Matsumoto with forearms and then she chops Rain in the neck.

Rain sends Matsumoto into the apron and then back into the ring. Rain with a running knee to the head for a near fall. Rain with punches to Matsumoto. Matsumoto fires back with forearms. Rain with a knee and then she hits a double knee splash in the corner. Rain gets a near fall.

Rain returns to the cravate and she sends Matsumoto to the mat and gets a near fall. Rain with a forearm but Matsumoto drops Rain on the top rope from the apron. Matsumoto goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Matsumoto waits for Rain to get up and she hits a splash into the corner followed by sit out gourdbuster but Rain kicks out.

Matsumoto goes back to the turnbuckles but Rain stops her and hits a lungblower and gets a near fall. Rain shows some frustration. Matsumoto with a forearm and Rain fires back. They exchange forearms to the delight of the crowd. Matsumoto with a series of forearms. Rain hits an inverted DDT for a near fall.

Rain goes up top but Matsumoto with a forearm. She sets for a superplex and hits it. Matsumoto gets a two count. Rain with elbows but Matsumoto with a splash. Rain holds the referee to avoid a suplex. Matsumoto with a forearm. Matsumoto with a splash to the referee and he goes down.

Rain and April attack Matsumoto while the referee is out. Rain with a gutbuster and she tries to revive the referee. Rain can only get a two count because of the slow cadence. Rain with forearms while the referee tries to recover. April holds Matsumoto but she moves and Rain hits her. Matsumoto with a forearm for a near fall. Matsumoto with a Saito suplex but April pulls the referee out.

Matsumoto misses a charge into the corner and Rain with a rollup for a near fall. Rain with an Impaler DDT for the three count.

Winner: Rain

After the match, Allysin Kay and Ivelisse come to the ring to celebrate with Rain.

Lenny Leonard comes to the ring to interview Rain. Lenny tells Rain that she has a new Number One Contender. Lenny brings out Daffney, who is accompanied by Solo Darling.

Daffney says that she has secured the Number One Contender Match for Rain at Shine 15.

Rain says that she will not face Nikki Roxx because she lost and it isn’t going to be Kimberly. Rain says that she will face Solo and she will get down to Solo’s level to face her.

Daffney says that Solo will not be her opponent, but she is the future. Daffney has a new member of her All Star Squad. Rain will face Amazing Kong at Shine 15.
