WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: RHODES VERSUS AXEL; PRIME TIME PLAYERS AND REAL AMERICANS FEUD CONTINUES; FANDANGO VERSUS KINGSTON

On Monday night, CM Punk got his wish and he had the opportunity to get his hands on Paul Heyman thanks to the WWE Universe who went on the WWE App. Did CM Punk expect the beating that he received at the hands of Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman after Punk’s victory over Curtis Axel?

We are in Las Vegas, Nevada and your announcers are Josh ‘We waited outside Dave’s house but he wasn’t home’ Mathews and Alex ‘Remember when I did stuff with the Miz’ Riley.

Match Number One: Curtis Axel versus Cody Rhodes in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Axel with an arm drag and he is proud of what he just did. They lock up again and Axel with a side head lock take down and Cody with a head scissors and Axel escapes. Axel with another side head lock take down and another head scissors from Cody. Axel with a side head lock and shoulder tackle.

Cody with a shoulder tackle. They lock up again and Axel with a side head lock and take down into a front face lock. Cody with a reversal into a hammer lock and a knee to the back. Cody with another knee to the back as he maintains the hammer lock. Rhodes with a rollup for a near fall.

Axel gets to his feet and he applies a waist lock but Cody with a single leg trip and Axel rolls to the floor to discuss strategy with Heyman. Curtis appreciates the advice and Cody holds the ropes open for Axel. Axel returns to the ring and they lock up again.

Axel backs Rhodes into the corner and he Irish whips Rhodes and Rhodes floats over into a sunset flip for a near fall. Rhodes with a wrist lock and Curtis with a punch. Axel with kicks and punches followed by forearms. Axel with a punch to Rhodes and then he clotheslines Rhodes over the top rope to the floor.

Axel goes to the floor and Cody with a kick and chop to Axel. Rhodes with a forearm but Cody with an Irish whip that sends Cody into the ringside barrier and we go to commercial.

We are back and Axel with a suplex and a near fall. Axel with a chin lock and he rubs his forearm across Cody’s face. Axel with a reverse chin lock. Rhodes with an arm drag but Axel with a clothesline. Rhodes goes to the apron and Axel with a forearm to the head. Axel has a punch blocked and Cody with a punch. Rhodes goes up top but Axel with an arm wringer to the mat and he gets a near fall.

Axel with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Axel with an elbow to the back of the head. Rhodes with a punch and forearms to Axel. Axel with a hard Irish whip to the sternum for a near fall. Axel with a punch to Rhodes but Rhodes punches back. Axel with a knee and forearm followed by a slam. Axel goes to the turnbuckles for an elbow drop and he connects.

Axel gets a near fall. Axel with a reverse chin lock. Rhodes with punches when he gets to his feet. Axel slides in the corner to avoid the turnbuckles on an Irish whip. Axel misses a clothesline but he does not miss with a Northern Lariat. Axel misses the snap running neckbreaker.

Rhodes with a kick and he goes up top for a moonsault. Axel charges at Rhodes and Rhodes moves, sending Axel to the floor. Rhodes with a kick and a clothesline followed by a back elbow. Rhodes with a drop down uppercut followed by a kick to the abdomen. Rhodes misses Beautiful Disaster while Axel tries for a Perfectplex but Rhodes counters into an Alabama Slam for a near fall.

Rhodes with a side head lock but Axel with a rebound Saito suplex for a near fall. Axel with forearms to Rhodes’ head. Axel goes to the turnbuckles but Rhodes stops him. Cody with a head butt followed by the muscle buster and he gets a near fall.

Rhodes pulls Axel back into the ring but Axel with a kick to the knee. Axel with the neckbreaker driver for the three count.

Winner: Curtis Axel

We go to commercial.

We are back and Los Matadores are coming. Arriba and Ole.

Match Number Two: Darren Young and Titus O’Neil versus Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger (with Zeb Colter)

Cesaro and Young start things off and they lock up. Cesaro with a punch instead of a clean break. Young with punches and a clothesline for a near fall. Young with a front face lock and Titus tags in and Titus sends Darren into Cesaro’s ribs for a shoulder. Titus with a slam and he barks.

Young tags in and he hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Cesaro with an Irish whip that sends Young over the top rope to the floor. Swagger with a clothesline on the floor while Cesaro distracts the referee. Swagger rolls Young back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Swagger with an overhook on the arms.

Young with a head butt and he gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Swagger runs Young into the corner and Cesaro with a punch when Swagger distracts the referee. Swagger with a double jump Swagger bomb followed by a leap frog double stomp. Young rolls to the floor and Cesaro brings him back into the ring. Cesaro with a dead lift side salto and then he tags in Swagger.

Swagger with a belly-to-belly suplex before tagging Cesaro back in. Swagger and Cesaro with a double spinebuster and Cesaro gets a near fall but Titus breaks up the cover. Cesaro with a reverse chin lock. Cesaro with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot from Young.

Cesaro prevents Young from making the tag for a moment but Young with an enzuigiri and he tags in Titus. Titus with clotheslines to Swagger followed by a fallaway throw. Titus with another bark and he connects with a boot to the chest for a near fall.

Titus blocks a punch from Cesaro from the apron but Swagger with a belly-to-belly slam for a near fall. Darren and Cesaro interfere and the referee sends Cesaro to the apron. Titus with Clash of the Titus for the three count.

Winners: Titus O’Neil and Darren Young

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to take a look back at Raw and the present of the Viper Edition of the Cadillac Escalade. We also see what happened to Daniel Bryan after adding some detailing to the vehicle.

Match Number Three: Kofi Kingston versus Fandango (with Summer Rae)

Fandango dances around the ring before locking up. Fandango with a hammer lock into a snap mare but Kofi with a reversal. Fandango gets to the ropes and Kofi releases the hold. Kofi with a side head lock into a hammer lock and he follows with a rollup for a near fall.

Kofi with a side head lock and Fandango with a top wrist lock into a side head lock. Fandango with a shoulder tackle. Kofi with a few leap frogs followed by a leaping back elbow. Kofi with a splash to the left arm and Kofi with a key lock. Fandango with a knee to the midsection and he gets a few punches in on Kofi. Fandango with a monkey flip but Kofi flips through and lands on his feet.

Kofi with a monkey flip of his own and Fandango goes to the apron. Fandango avoids a baseball slide but Kofi drops Fandango on the apron. Fandango sends Kofi over his head on the floor and he lands on the ropes. Kofi with a cross body onto Fandango.

Kofi rolls Fandango into the ring but Summer distracts Kofi. Kofi is dropped on the top rope and then Fandango sends Kofi shoulder first into the ring post as we go to commercial.

We are back and Fandango with a key lock on Kofi. Kofi gets back to his feet and he punches Fandango. Kofi tries for a sunset flip but Fandango stays on his feet and he drops down on Kofi’s injured arm. Fandango with a knee drop to the arm for a near fall. Fandango with a fireman’s carry while holding on to the arm. Fandango stays with the key lock and he turns it into a wrist lock.

Kofi with kicks to Fandango. Fandango with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Fandango with a spinning heel kick for a near fall. Fandango with a front face lock and hammer lock and he turns it into a suplex for a near fall.

Kofi with a jaw breaker to escape. Kofi avoids a charge into the corner by Fandango. Kofi with clotheslines followed by a drop kick. Kofi with a leaping clothesline followed by the Boom Drop.

Kofi sets for Trouble in Paradise but Summer grabs the leg and Fandango kicks Kofi. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Kofi Kingston (by disqualification)

After the match, Kofi with a European uppercut but the referee pulls Kofi away from Fandango and Fandango goes to the floor.
