THE WWE- MADDEN CURSE, AJ AS JODI ARIAS, CM PUNK'S RETURN, I AM USELESS AND MORE

I know it may sound like a dumb question but wouldn't AJ Lee be the perfect person to play Jodi Arias in a movie. She could kinda look like her and I am sure she could act like her all nuts and everything. I think WWE better be getting her out there to play the role once people start pitching those scripts.

Well AJ has shown she is good at playing a psycho and given what Arias has done in real life, that fits her to a T.  Hell, if WWE could have all those different guys playing The Marine, why not?

Besides John Cena do you think that doing a movie for the WWE is like the “Madden Curse”? Ted DiBiase, Miz, Mr. Kennedy, Wade Barrett all do WWE movies and then either disappear, leave or get relegated to working poor story lines. I hope this does not happen to Randy Orton.

I think Orton's fine, but you definitely make a good point.  In those cases doing a movie hasn't helped the talents at all where their push is concerned.  Good call on the Madden curse.

You are doing a great job running the site in Scherer's absence which leads to this question. What does Dave do besides his regular audio commentaries on Stu/Pid, Funnest Mailbag, hotlines and PPV comments and audio.

I ran the site in my own absence.  That is quite a feat I would say.  Other than the stuff that you mentioned that I do, and the stuff that you didn't, I really don't do much of anything here.  I am kind of like President Jack Tunney was in the old WWF.

In the political minefield that is the backstage of a wrestling promotion, I'm fascinated that the Gail Kim/Taryn Terrell match was allowed to steal the show at Slammiversary. I've heard so many stories of main eventers lobbying to hobble the matches of high workrate undercard performers so that their matches don't pale in comparison. Do you think the women's match was so good because no one expected a women's match to kick that much ass so no one lobbied to hold it back or is there an atmosphere at TNA where everyone is encouraged to steal the show if they can? My 2 cents, if I was running the show, I'd make sure the main eventers came with their A game by encouraging good matches top to bottom. Earn for those top spots!

I am with you.  I would rather have the bar set high and have everyone try to top it as well.  If the guys on top can't do it, they shouldn't be on top to begin with.  And yes I think they slipped in under the radar and ended up stealing the show!

CM Punk said not too many days ago that he was fine where he was and didn't want to come back to TV anytime soon. But, all of the sudden, they made a match between him and Jericho out of nowhere. My theory for this storyline is that the match will never take place. Punk will be represented by Heyman all of the time, never showing up, and in the PPV instead of Punk, Jericho will have to fight Curtis Axel because the contract he signed was for a match with Axel and not Punk. All of this will prompt a CM Punk face turn in his return, and a feud will ensue between him and Axel, or probably a feud against Brock Lesnar in Wrestlemania (or both). Is this wishful thinking?

Yeah, it probably is wishful thinking.  At the end of the day, Punk is under contract and once he healed up if WWE calls him to come back, that is what he has to do.
