WWE SUPERSTARS REPORT: SIN CARA VERSUS MCGILLICUTTY; RILEY VERSUS RHODES; A NEW THEME SONG; AND RAW RECAPS

Match Number One: Sin Cara versus Michael McGillicutty

The bell rings and the lights go down for Sin Cara.

They lock up and Michael backs Cara into the corner and he pushes Cara. Cara adjusts his mask before getting out of the corner. Michael with punches to Cara. Cara with a head scissors take down followed by a drop kick and then Cara is sent to the apron. Cara with a forearm and he hits a springboard cross body for a near fall. Michael catches Cara on a handspring back elbow attempt and Michael hits a belly-to-back suplex.

Michael sends Cara into the turnbuckles and then he kicks Michael. Michael with a chop and forearms and elbows to the head. Michael with a drop kick for a near fall. Michael with an elbow to the top of the head. Michael with a reverse chin lock. Cara with kicks and he hits a springboard back elbow. Cara with a kick and wrist lock and then he hits a double jump arm drag.

Cara with a crucifix for a near fall. Michael sends Cara over the top rope but to the apron. Cara with an enzuigiri and then he goes up top for the swanton and he gets the three count.

Winner: Sin Cara

We are back with a look back at ‘highlights’ from the first twenty minutes of Raw between Fandango and Chris Jericho in the Sue Free Dance Off.

Match Number Two: Alex Riley versus Cody Rhodes

They lock up and Riley with a waist lock but Rhodes works on the wrist. Riley with a reversal and Cody with a drop toe hold. Cody yells at Riley but Riley with a double leg take down and jackknife cover for a near fall. Riley with a rollup for a near fall and Cody retreats to the ropes. Rhodes pushes Riley but Riley chops Cody.

Riley with another chop and then he lifts Cody and kicks him in the arm. Riley lifts Cody up again and kicks Cody. Riley with an elbow drop for a near fall. Riley continues to work on the arm but Cody backs Riley into the corner and Cody with a kick to the midsection after breaking the hold. Cody with a side head lock and take down.

Rhodes with a shoulder tackle but Riley with a drop kick that staggers Rhodes. Riley clotheslines Rhodes over the top rope to the floor. Riley follows to the floor and he comes off the ring steps with a forearm and Cody is down again. Riley rolls Cody back into the ring.

Riley with a shoulder from the apron and he tries to suplex Cody to the floor but Cody blocks it and Cody kicks Riley in the knee and Riley falls off the apron and to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Cody with a head scissors into a front face lock. Cody with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Cody with an elbow to the chest and a cravate. Cody tries a suplex but Riley blocks it and hits a suplex of his own. Riley runs into an elbow and then Cody goes for three with a field goal kick to the midsection and Cody gets a near fall.

Cody stomps on Riley’s head and he applies a quarter nelson and he gets a near fall. Cody with a front face lock and he keeps his weight on top of Riley. Rhodes tries for a bulldog but Riley pushes Cody away and both men are down. Riley with a flying forearm and clothesline followed by a hip toss into a neck breaker.

Cody with a kick but Riley with a spinebuster for a near fall. Riley tries for a TKO but Cody escapes. Cody tries for Cross Rhodes but Riley escapes. Riley with a TKO for a near fall. Cody goes to the apron and Riley brings Cody back in with a hip toss. Rhodes lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt and Cody hits Beautiful Disaster for the three count.

Winner: Cody Rhodes
