COMPANY THAT TOOK OVER ECW ARENA EVICTED FROM THE HISTORIC VENUE

The Philadelphia Sheriff's office, under the order of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, issued a final order of eviction against "Arena Operating, LLC" yesterday.

Arena Operating is the company headed by Joanna Pang that took over the operations and management of the former ECW Arena last year.

As we've noted in the Elite section of PWInsider.com, Stein & Silverman Family Partners, the owners of the Arena have been in court to force Pang out as she basically ripped the venue apart to the bare bones and then failed to make lease payments. Rather than let the building sit there empty and non-profitable, they opted to force Pang out.

Pang had intended to turn the historic wrestling venue into a concert venue, a move that was being decried by the community. The venue has nothing inside it currently, not even bathrooms.

The eviction notice, which PWInsider.com acquired a copy of, warned the current leaseholders that this was their final eviction notice and to remove all property inside the building now.
