Officially announced for the evening card is Los Ice Creams & F.I.ST's Icarus & Chuck Taylor vs. 3.0 & The Colony's Fire Ant & Green Ant, which will be CHIKARA's official entry to the evening show.
As previously noted on PWInsider.com, we will be the presenting sponsor of the 2013 Rey de Voladores (King of the Fliers) tournament on 2/2 at the National Pro Wrestling Day doubleheader in Philadelphia, PA at the Derby Gardens.
The first four way in the tournament has been announced and will feature former ECW World TV champion 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Jojo Bravo (Texas' Anarchy Championship Wrestling) vs. Oliver Grimsley (QWEST Wrestling in Florida) vs. Shane Hollister (AAW in Chicago). The second four way's competitors will be announced shortly with the winners of each match facing off to determine the 2013 champion.
We are also very happy to announce that the Rey de Voladores tournament final will be the main event of the evening card at 7 PM.
NYWC, Resistance Pro, CHIKARA, EVOLVE, Wrestling is Heart, Fighting Spirit Wrestling, WSU, The International Wrestling Cartel and Wrestling is Awesome! will also be presenting matches on the 7 PM evening card.
The 1 PM afternoon card will also feature:
-Ring of Honor Tag Team champions The Briscoes vs. former champions Steve Corino & Jimmy Jacobs.
-Beyond Wrestling will feature Sugar Dunkerton & Aaron Eric vs. Eric Corvis & Chris Dickinson.
-Kaiju Big Battel will feature American Beetle & Neo Teppen vs. Dr. Cube & Sekmet.
-Wrestling Is Art will feature Colt Cabana vs. Mike Quackenbush.
-Cleveland's Absolute Intense Wrestling will feature Josh Alexander vs. Ethan Page.
-Wrestling is Fun! will present Saturyne vs. Juan Francisco de Coronado.
-Wrestling is Respect presents Drew Gulak vs. Francis O'Rourke.
-CWF Mid-Atlantic features Arik Royal & Echiva Kid vs. Ric Converse & Trevor Lee.
Admission to each event will be completely free with first come, first serve general admission seating. There will be live iPPVs presented of each card, which can be pre-ordered now at www.SMVOD.com. Each event, the 1 PM afternoon card and the 7 PM evening card, will be available separately priced at $9.99 each or as a package deal for $14.99, which is a great deal for two shows.
There will be a bus trip from NYC & NJ to both events for $55 ($60 the day of the show, if there are seats available) presented by www.wrestlingbustrips.com. The trip will pick up at 9 AM in Queens, NY, 9:30 AM at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC and 10 AM in Rahway, NJ. For more details, visit their website.
