FIRST COMPETITOR FOR PWINSIDER.COM'S REY DE VOLADORES TOURNAMENT AT NATIONAL PRO WRESTLING DAY IS...............

As we noted here on PWInsider.com, we are taking part in National Pro Wrestling Day as the presenting sponsor of the annual Rey de Voladores (King of the Fliers) tournament traditionally presented by CHIKARA, which this year will be held on 2/2/13 in Philadelphia, PA as part of the afternoon proceedings on National Pro Wrestling Day event.

National Pro Wrestling Day will be a FREE double header card at The Derby Ink Gardens.

The first competitor named for the Rey de Voladores tournament is former WWE, ECW and WCW star 2 Cold Scorpio.

Scorpio will be facing competitors representing AAW (Illinois), QWEST (Florida) and ACW (Texas), who will be revealed over the remainder of the week.

The winner of this Four Way will face the winner of a second Four Way match to be announced to crown the 2013 Rey de Voladores champion. Previous Rey de Voladores winners have been, in order, Chuck Taylor, Incognito, Kota Ibushi, Ophidian and El Generico.

Previously announced for the afternoon card of a free double header event in Philadelphia:

Ring of Honor Tag Team champions The Briscoes vs. former champions Steve Corino & Jimmy Jacobs.

Beyond Wrestling will feature Sugar Dunkerton & Aaron Eric vs. Eric Corvis & Chris Dickinson.

Kaiju Big Battel will feature American Beetle & Neo Teppen vs. Dr. Cube & Sekmet.

Wrestling Is Art's entry to the event with Colt Cabana vs. Mike Quackenbush.

Cleveland's Absolute Intense Wrestling wll feature Josh Alexander vs. Ethan Page.

Wrestling is Fun! will present Saturyne vs. Juan Francisco de Coronado.
