CM PUNK UPDATE, 20th ANNIVERSARY OF RAW, LATEST FROM ZACK RYDER AND MORE

For those who missed it on our Elite audio Hot News Hotline, WWE has begun preparations for the 20th Anniversary episode of Raw, which will be 1/14/2013 in Houston, Texas. One would assume they would reach out to Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, who were the WWF champion and Intercontinental champion at the time Raw went on the air. The first Raw was headlined by the Undertaker defeating Damien Damento.

WWE champ CM Punk is not expected to miss any TV time following his surgery earlier this week. We are told he won't be back in the ring wrestling until at least the end of the month.

WWE actually had Dr. James Andrews Tout that CM Punk would be good to go and was a "tough character."

The dark match for Monday's Raw in Newark, NJ will be John Cena & Sheamus vs. Big Show & Dolph Ziggler.
