Tickets for WWE's return to Australia go on sale this weekend.

WWE is taping Smackdown and Main Event tomorrow in North Charleston, South Carolina. If anyone is going, we are seeking spoiler reports.

Freemantle Enterprises posted a FAQ about their takeover of WWE DVDs for the European market at this link. They noted they would be releasing WWE material via digital means for those markets, that they would look into continuing the "Tagged Classics" (re-releases of old Coliseum Home Video and WWF VHS releases on DVD) but did not promise they would, noted that Blu-Rays would be coded for Regions B and C (this won't make collectors happy as Silvervision would often release Blu-Ray titles that were not released in the States region-free, allowing collectors to import them) and that they would continue the Live in the UK DVD series, made up of TV Tapings that were held in the UK.

WWE Superstar John Cena to Host Vortexx on The CW,
Shifting WWE Saturday Morning Slam into Overdrive on December 8th

LOS ANGELES (Dec. 3, 2012) – Vortexx on The CW, an affiliate of Saban Brands, today announced WWE Superstar John Cena will host the kids television block this Saturday, December 8th from 8:30 a.m.—10:30 a.m. In addition to the WWE Superstar hosting the block, dubbed Cena Saturday, viewers can watch him face-off in the ring against WWE Superstar Heath Slater at 10 a.m. on a special WWE Saturday Morning Slam.

Cena Saturday will offer viewers the unique opportunity to get to know the man behind the legend, as this Saturday’s programming will also include special profiles on him.

“We have many young WWE fans watching Vortexx every Saturday morning, so we’re thrilled to bring them Cena Saturday,” said Elie Dekel, President of Saban Brands. “The spotlighted features on John Cena are a very exciting addition to the block this week.”

Also airing on December 8th will be other Vortexx marquee titles, including Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Sonic X, Dragon Ball Z, Justice League Unlimited and Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL.
