BY THE NUMBERS PAY PER VIEW EDITION: LOOKING BACK AT TURNING POINT AND SURVIVOR SERIES

By Richard Trionfo on 2012-11-22 06:08:13
There is one more pay per view left in the year after the offerings from Impact Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment in November. For the second month in a row, Impact Wrestling gave us more wrestling. This time, they did it with two more matches than WWE, but they increased the gap to fourteen minutes.

For the year, both companies passed one thousand minutes on pay per view and while WWE will probably win the battle for the year thanks to the extra hour for Wrestlemania, Impact might be able to get the per hour title from WWE. Impact Wrestling will need to approach their total for the last few months and have more wrestling than what WWE will present. There is still a chance that WWE can get the average per hour title even if they have less wrestling than Impact Wrestling.

Absent something crazy, neither company will pass one hundred matches for the year. WWE will try to keep their average match length over thirteen minutes for the year while Impact Wrestling has recovered from the low water mark at Slammiversary to exceed the average every month since.

The totals below do not include the Pre-Show Tag Match of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder against Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal. That match went 6 Minutes.
