COMPLETE COUNTDOWN TO BOUND FOR GLORY REPORT

Welcome to the live coverage of Countdown to Bound for Glory. This year’s Bound for Glory comes from Phoenix, Arizona.

Make sure to check out the live coverage of Bound for Glory by Mike Johnson starting at 8:00 PM Eastern.

We see the situation outside the building in Phoenix with the crowd and some of the people have made their way into the building.

Mike Tenay and Taz are your hosts for the Countdown to Bound for Glory.

Taz says that there is a big fight feel in the back and the entire roster is buzzing. He says that it will be a massive, massive, big night.

There are three matches to choose what will air on the TNA website.

Taz and Tenay run through the card for Bound for Glory.

Joey Ryan makes his way into the building earlier today as he gets ready for Al Snow. Samoa Joe enters the building with the Television Title. Rob Van Dam enters as well. James Storm also enters the building. Jeff Hardy enters as well.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see people entering the arena.

Mike says that one of the most personal rivalries in the history of TNA and Impact Wrestling will come to a head tonight between Bobby Roode and James Storm. Taz mentions that King Mo will be the special enforcer.

We have a video package.

Dixie Carter says that Beer Money put tag team wrestling on the map.

We hear some of the promos during the feud between James and Bobby where there say that they will not be as good as the other.

We see highlights from the match between James Storm and Bully Ray at No Surrender when Bobby Roode used a beer bottle to help Bully Ray win the match. We see Hulk Hogan’s announcement that King Mo will be the Special Enforcer.

We see the confrontation on the stage in the Impact Zone when Mo pushed Roode down and then confronted Storm in the ring.

Storm says that he would die for his family, but he will not die for a wrestling match. However, he will come very close.

Christy Hemme is with King Mo and she asks him about how he will bring order in the match. Mo says that he was brought in to keep order in the match. He will keep order among the people.

We go to commercial.

We are back and more people are entering the arena.

It is time to talk about the Knockouts Title Match and the teacher versus the student.

It is video package time. We see Brooke’s promo when she wanted to know if she could beat Tara. We see footage of Brooke getting the win over Tara. Then we see Tara turn on Brooke.

We see Tara telling Brooke Hogan that she wants a title match.

Tara talks about her ‘Hollywood’ boyfriend who is a huge star and how he made her realize that she is the best.

Jeremy Borash is with Brooke Hogan and Brooke says that she is so excited. She says that she was a little nervous about the match between Tara and Brooke. She says that it was getting ‘high school’.

Tara interrupts and she says that she wants to make sure that her green room is ready for her celebration so she can celebrate with her ‘Hollywood’ boyfriend.

Brooke says that Tara is not her sister and she tells her to win the match so she can celebrate.

We go to commercial.

We are back and the lights are down in the arena.

Mike and Taz talk about how there are a lot of things going down. Taz mentions Sting and Bully Ray against Aces and Eights.

Taz and Tenay run through the card one more time.

We go to footage from the Hall of Fame ceremony where Sting was honored by TNA. We hear Lex Luger talking about how Sting came to visit him after an injury.

Hulk Hogan makes some comments and we go to commercial.

We are back and we have less than thirty minutes until Bound for Glory starts.

Taz and Tenay talk about some of the matches and the implications.

We go to footage from the Hall of Fame Ceremony when Sting was inducted.

We see Jeremy Borash welcome everyone. Then we see Lex Luger talk about how Sting was the first person he saw after he was in a motorcycle accident.

Hulk Hogan says that Sting is part of the reason why TNA is still here after ten years.

Dixie Carter thanks Sting for coming back every year even though he has said that he would not be coming back the next year. Dixie says that she does not know what would have happened if Sting had walked away.

Sting talks about being excited to be a part of the business and how he has been able to face the likes of Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. He mentions that Jeff and Jerry Jarrett asked him to be part of an event. He thanks Dixie Carter for giving him a second chance.

We go to Christy Hemme who is with Bully Ray. Christy asks Ray about how he feels to be part of the match. Ray says that Christy has a big smile on her face because everyone knows that the fate of TNA lies on his shoulders and on Sting’s shoulders. Sting and Bully Ray are a team that nobody thought they would ever see. He says that he ain’t stupid. There ain’t a person in the locker room or in the world who trusts him, but TNA better trust him. He is the only hope that they got. He will stand by Sting’s side because he wants to take Aces and Eights down because they cost him his shot at the World Title.

Bully Ray tells us who he is and how he is the only hope they got.

We see Aces and Eights arrive at the building and they have Joseph Park with him.

It is time for our special never before seen match when Austin Aries faced Bobby Roode at Destination X for the World Title.

The match is joined in progress and Roode kicks Aries in the head. Roode with a flapjack to Aries and he applies a waist lock. Roode with a take down after Aries gets to his feet. Aries gets back to his feet again. Aries with an elbow but Roode with a knee. Aries with a rollup for a near fall. Roode with a lariat for a near fall.

Roode pie faces and slaps Aries and then he spits in Aries’ face. Roode with a forearm but Aries with a forearm of his own and he connects with more forearms. Roode sends Aries into the corner and he chops Aries. Aries with a chop of his own. Aries with a discus elbow and then Aries gets sent to the apron.

Aries with a shoulder and he flips over Roode and then clotheslines Roode over the top rope to the floor and hits a suicide dive onto Roode. Aries goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Aries charges into the corner and he hits a power slam for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Roode with a Crippler Crossface on Aries but Aries tries to roll through and Roode holds on and avoids getting his shoulders on the mat. Aries gets to the ropes and Roode takes his time to release the hold.

Roode takes his title belt and he brings it into the ring. The referee sees it and he takes it from Roode. Roode with a low blow to Aries when the referee did not see it but Roode can only get a two count. Roode argues with the referee and this allows Aries to recover. Roode pushes the referee and the referee pushes back. Aries with the running drop kick into the corner and he tries for the brainbuster but Roode escapes and he sends Aries into the referee.

Roode gets the title belt and he hits Aries in the head with it. Roode gets the referee to try to revive him but the referee’s three count takes too long and Aries is able to kick out. Roode sets for the fisherman’s suplex but Aries counters with an inside cradle. Aries avoids Roode and Roode hits the turnbuckles. Aries with a kick to the head followed by a brainbuster for the three count and to become the Impact Wrestling World Champion.

Jeremy Borash is in the back and he is joined by Hulk Hogan. Hogan makes Borash disappear behind his gigantic arms. He is going to do the same with Aces and Eights tonight. Jeremy asks Hogan about the tag match and he asks him what they are going to do with Aces and Eights. Hogan says that he had to cut a deal with the devil Bully Ray and Aces and Eights. Bully has one shot to save this company along with Sting. Hogan says that he will be in the back watching like a hawk. This will be a No DQ match because they have to win the match.

Hogan says that he doesn’t want any excuses.

It is time for a video package about the World Title Match.

Jeff Hardy says that he has been evaluating his journey for the title. He will win the title on Sunday and then he will be the best wrestler on planet Earth.

Austin Aries says that he has been told how to act and what to say since he won the title. He says that he is tired of the special treatment that Jeff Hardy gets. Austin says that he is the best when he is fighting against the system.

Taz and Tenay talk about the confrontation between Austin Aries and Jeff Hardy at the end of Impact.

Speak of the World Champion, Austin Aries makes his way into the building and he walks to the ring. Aries says that it is a great day to be great. Austin asks everyone if they saw him kick Jeff Hardy in the balls on Thursday and then drop him on his head. Aries says that he is all ready to go while Hardy is playing with his wife’s makeup. Aries says that anyone who is cheering for him is cheering for him because he is that damn great.

Aries says that he does not ask for the cheers or for people to chant his name. He is Austin Healy Aries and he is the greatest man to ever live. Tonight, they will be in the middle of the ring and they will be in the spotlight. One will be exposed as nothing more than a failure. Aries guaran-damn-tees that it will not be the man talking now. He tells the creatures of the night to save their voices because they will need all of their support tonight.
