Dragon Gate USA announced that their 11/4 iPPV in Long Island, NY will be headlined by Open the Freedom Gate champion Johnny Gargano vs. Akira Tozawa vs. AR Fox vs. Ricochet in what looks to be an insanely awesome match. That iPPV will be the 2012 Freedom Fight.

Also announced for those shows are Sami Callihan vs. CIMA and El Generico & Samuray Del Sol vs. Genki Horiguchi & Ryo Saito.

The promotion is still looking for a new venue in NYC proper. One of their goals currently is to find a new "home building" that they can regularly run in to try and build an audience. The loss of BB Kings and the ECW Arena really hurt the company in the last year. In the case of the Arena, that is well documented. BBs management decided they would rather fill dates with musical events as they make the lion's share of their money selling food and alcohol and the wrestling set-up (and the fans, honestly) didn't push sales high enough to where keeping wrestling over a musical act made sense from a profits standpoint.

DGUSA is holding a wrestler tryout/seminar on 11/4 in Long Island.
