Michael Bochicchio and Highspots.com have launched a Kickstarter.com campaign in support of a planned in-depth documentary on one of the best in-ring workers of all time, The Dynamite Kid.
The documentary came about after Bochicchio flew to Machester, England last month for a private signing with Kid. During the trip, they shot several hours of footage for a planned shoot interview.
After the footage was shot, the decision was made to move forward with a full fledged documentary. Bochicchio will begin shooting interviews this week for the film.

As is customary with Kickstarter campaigns, those donating to the project will receive special extras which range from Highspots.tv subscriptions to signed Kid merchandise to Kid's All Japan Pro Wrestling Real World Tag League plaque.
The Kickstarter page also features footage from the interview Kid took part in, his first "public" appearance since right after the Benoit tragedy.
