Dolph Ziggler was interviewed today by The Los Angeles Times discussing the PPV and his showdown with Chris Jericho. He says his dream match would have been against Shawn Michaels in his prime. Regarding comparisons to Curt Hennig, Ziggler commented, "Any comparison to a WWE legend or someone I've looked up to is really cool, but make no mistake about it, my ego is too big to want to be a really good replica of someone else! It's unfortunate that if you're really good at your job, you are constantly compared to legends of the past. I am not trying to be the next ANYONE, I am going to be the FIRST Dolph Ziggler! Follow that!"
Chris Jericho commented on the release of Abraham Washington when asked by a fan about in on Twitter. Jericho responded, "It’s a drag. But it’s not the attitude era anymore."
Speaking of Jericho, he and his band Fozzy will be signing on 8/27 at Collector's Realm in Poughkeepsie, NY at 5:30 PM.
