Obviously, the big news for the weekend with Ring of Honor is that they will return to iPPV tomorrow with their debut at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI.  This was added as an iPPV just a few weeks ago and will be the first of four iPPVs presented by the company before the end of the year.

Scheduled for tomorrow:

*ROH champion Kevin Steen vs. CHIKARA Grand Champion, Eddie Kingston, only Steen's title on the line.

*The Briscoes vs. Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino

*Eddie Edwards & Sara Del Rey vs. Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis in a mixed tag.

*Michael Elgin vs. Charlie Haas.

*Best of Three Falls: Jay Lethal vs. Tommaso Ciampa.

*Roderick Strong vs. Mike Mondo.

*ROH TV Champion Adam Cole vs. Brutal Bob Evans.

*Matt Taven vs. QT Marshall vs. Antonio Thomas vs. Vinny Marseglia

To order the iPPV, visit will have live, ongoing coverage of the iPPV but we are seeking live reports and thoughts from those who will attend the show in Rhode Island.  If anyone is going, feel free to email me by clicking my nae above.  Eddie Edwards, Prince Nana and Sara del Rey will be doing a signing session before the show and there will be an additional dark match with the Bravados.  More on Nana below

ROH is doing a clearance sale of older merchandise with everything marked down 25% and if you are a Ringside Member of their website, 40%.  For full details, visit

Prince Nana is doing the pre-show autograph signing as the storyline, which they've been building to forever, is that he's lost control of the Embassy and is desperate for money.    I'm guessing they are building to Nana vs. RD Evans down the line.

As noted last night, Davey Richards issued an apology for statements he made about Kevin Steen in a recent shoot interview released by Coming right after the All Night Express DVD that featured Kenny King being very outspoken about the promotion right before leaving for TNA, I can't imagine that ROH was too happy. Richards is heading to Europe for a two week tour this month. No word on when he's set to return to ROH. A match between Tony Kozina and Kyle O'Reilly was quietly removed from the last ROH taping after the Iowa stuff we wrote about. O'Reailly isn't listed for any shows until September's Death Before Dishonor. Headlining the 9/8 return to Charlotte, NC is Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin vs. Roderick Strong and Michael Elgin and a six man cage bout featuring The Briscoes & Rhett Titus vs. ROH champion Kevin Steen & Steve Corino & Jimmy Jacobs.

Roderick Strong was interviewed by Two Spot Monkeys about the iPPV at this link.
