Welcome to PWInsider.com’s live coverage of the debut show from Shine Wrestling from the Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida.

Before the show started, it was announced that Shine 2 will take place at the Orpheum in Ybor City on Friday, August 17th.

Your announcer for tonight’s iPPV is Lenny Leonard.

Daffney comes out in her role as the hostess for tonight’s show. Daffney mentions that they have a stacked card with a lot of talent that we will see in the ring.

Match Number One: Veda Scott vs. Kimberly

They lock up and Scott works on the wrist. Scott with an arm drag into an arm bar and then she applies a figure four arm bar but Kimberly bridges and gets a near fall. Scott with a waist lock and Kimberly with an arm drag into a hammer lock. Scott rolls through and applies a front face lock. Kimberly with punches and side head lock take down for a near fall.

Scott with a head scissors and Kimberly escapes and bridges into a single leg crab. Scott gets to the ropes and the referee calls for a break. They lock up again and Kimberly misses a punch and Scott with a kick and drop kick for a near fall. Scott with a front face lock and Kimberly with a side Russian leg sweep and she gets a near fall.

Kimberly with a front face lock and knees to the midsection followed by a suplex and float over for a near fall. Kimberly holds on to the front face lock but Scott escapes and connects with a forearm before applying a front face lock of her own. Kimberly with a near fall.

Kimberly with a forearm and punches in the corner. The referee warns Kimberly and Kimberly with a snap mare and crucifix for a near fall. Scott gets a near fall on Kimberly. Kimberly runs Scott into the turnbuckle and connects with shoulders. Scott with a boot when Kimberly charges. Scott with a clothesline from the turnbuckles for a near fall.

Scott with a forearm to the back and an arm bar. Kimberly with a kick and inside cradle for a near fall. Kimberly with a snap mare and body scissors. Kimberly with forearms to the back of the head but Scott tries to bridge and gets a near fall. Scott reverses and stretches Kimberly. Scott gets a near fall but Kimberly reverses. Scott is able to escape and gets to the apron. Scott with a kick to the head and back of the head and gets another near fall. Scott with an Irish whip and then she connects with a splash into the corner and a running forearm. Scott goes back to the turnbuckles and hits a cross body but Kimberly rolls through and punches Scott.

Kimberly punches Scott again and the referee warns her. Scott with a kick to the midsection. Kimberly misses a clothesline and Scott with a front mare driver for the three count.

Winner: Veda Scott

Match Number Two: Santana Garrett vs. Tina San Antonio

Garrett with a rollup to start things off. Garrett with a double leg take down and jackknife cover for another near fall. Tina with a side head lock and drop toe hold into a front face lock. Tina chokes Santana while the referee is not looking. Santana with a side head lock of her own. Garrett with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Tina with an Irish whip and Garrett floats over and hits an arm drag. Garrett tries for the handspring back elbow but Tina gets her boot up.

Tina sends Garrett into the turnbuckles and she kicks Garrett in the midsection. Tina puts Santana in the ropes and then drives Santana’s head into the mat. Garrett with a shoulder from the apron and a sunset flip attempt but Tina holds on to the ropes and stomps on the midsection. Tina with a cravate and snap mare followed by a kick to the back and a blockbuster for a near fall.

Tina with kicks to the back and then she works on the back. Tina gets Santana in a rocking horse and then drives her face first into the mat. Tina with a punch but Garrett with a forearm. Garrett with the advantage and she connects with a few more forearms followed by a flying clothesline and drop kick. Garrett with a side Russian leg sweep and float over for a near fall.

Garrett with an Irish whip and she hits the handspring back elbow into the corner. Garrett with a kick and then she tries for a handspring moonsault but Tina gets her knees up. Tina with a neck breaker and then he tries for a crossface chicken wing. Garrett is able to get the three count with a rollup.

Winner: Santana Garrett

Match Number Three: Tracy Taylor and Su Yung vs. Allysin Kay and Taylor Made

[Note for reader: This match I will be using the first names of the wrestlers to avoid confusion with Tracy Taylor and Taylor Made]

Taylor and Tracy start things off but Taylor takes her time starting things out. Taylor tags Allysin into the match before locking up. Taylor tags back in and they are about to lock up. They lock up and Taylor backs Tracy into the corner and gives a clean break but she slaps Tracy. Tracy backs Taylor into the corner and applies a side head lock and takes her to the mat. Su tags in and gets a near fall with a rollup.

Su with a front face lock and waist lock. Su with a full nelson and snap mare. Tracy tags in and she connects with an elbow drop and gets a near fall. Allysin tags in and she connects with a shoulder in the corner. Allysin with a side head lock but Tracy with a side head lock. Allysin with a side head lock but Tracy with a reversal.

Su tags in and she punches Allysin and applies a side head lock. Su with a hammer lock but Allysin with a reversal. Allysin bites Su but Su with a waist lock. Tracy tags in and she connects with an arm drag. Su with a Japanese arm drag. Tracy with a drop toe hold and then she applies a Hawaiian surfboard.

Taylor tags in and Tracy with an arm drag into an arm bar. Su tags in and they keep Taylor from making the tag. Su with a Dragon Sleeper and a forearm to the aback. Su with a drop kick and Taylor goes to the floor. Su tries for a suicide dive but Allysin with a block and Su goes to the floor. Taylor distract the referee and Allysin runs Su’s back into a pole.

Taylor gets a near fall. Allysin tags in and punches Su in the back. Allysin sends Su face first into the mat. Allysin with a cross arm camel clutch and Su refuses to tap out. Su gets out of the hold but Allysin with a clothesline and she gets a near fall.

Taylor tags in and kicks Su in the midsection. Taylor chokes Su in the ropes and then Allysin tags back in. Allysin kicks Su and applies a reverse chin lock. Allysin pulls Su to the mat by her hair and gets a near fall. Allysin sends Su into the turnbuckles. Taylor tags back in and chokes Su with her boot. Taylor draws Tracy in to allow Allysin and Taylor to double team Su. Taylor gets a near fall.

Su with a forearm to the midsection but Allysin tags in and when the referee deals with Tracy Taylor and Allysin with a double cross arm choke and kicks to the midsection. Allysin chokes Su and gets a near fall.

Allysin with forearms but Su with a stunner. Tracy tags in and the referee is distracted so he does not allow the tag. Allysin and Taylor make a wish with Su and gets a near fall. Allysin with an elevated full nelson into a front driver. Allysin with a facebuster. Su with a jawbreaker and she is able to tag in Tracy. Tracy with a drop kick to Allysin and one to Taylor. Tracy with more drop kicks followed by forearms to Allysin.

Tracy with a power slam for a near fall. Su tags in and goes up top for a missile drop kick and she gets a near fall. Taylor kicks Su in the head and then goes after Tracy on the apron. Allysin and Taylor hit a stunner and sit out front driver for the three count.

Winners: Allysin Kay and Taylor Made

After the match, Daffney interviews Allysin and Taylor. She asks them about how they were able to work so well together in their first match as a team. Allysin says that they are a match made in heaven. Taylor says that they are a team made in Sin. She calls everyone pathetic losers.

Match Number Four: Christina Von Eerie vs. Cherry Bomb

They lock up to a stalemate. They lock up again and they roll around the ring while still locked up and then go to a stalemate. They go face to face and then Christina with a waist lock but Cherry with a standing switch and take down. Cherry with a rollup and holds on to the waist lock.

Christina with a knee to the midsection but Cherry with a snap mare and drop kick for a near fall. Cherry misses a round kick and Christina with a leg sweep for a near fall. Cherry returns the favor. Christina appears to have hit the ropes wrong and hurt her knee. Cherry with a rollup for a near fall. Christina with a forearm. Cherry with a drop toe hold and then she hits a sliding kick to the head from the floor.

Cherry gets a near fall. Cherry with a reverse chin lock and then she hits a round kick and drop kick that sends Cherry into the ropes and Christina with a near fall. Cherry with a jawbreaker followed by a chop to the upper chest. Cherry wants to do it again and she connects. Christina with a drop toe hold into the turnbuckles and she returns the favor with two chops in the corner.

Christina with a float over in the corner and her knee appears to be fine. They exchange forearms and Christina with a head butt and enzuigiri for a near fall. Christina with a kick to the midsection and then she applies a bow and arrow. Cherry counters with a lateral press for a near fall.

Cherry with a kick to the head and then she goes to the turnbuckles. Cherry hits a missile drop kick Christina and Cherry each with near falls. Cherry with a version of Cattle Mutilation but Christina does not tap. Christina with a kick to the head and she goes up top but misses Cherry. Christina with a gutwrench suplex for the three count.

Winner: Christina Von Eerie

Match Number Five: Reby Sky vs. Jayme Jameson

They lock up and Jameson with a slap after what appeared to be a clean break. Sky with forearms and a drop kick. Jameson backs to the corner and she uses that to kick Sky in the midsection. Sky with a back heel kick and an axe kick followed by a leg drop for a near fall.

Sky works on the wrist but Jameson with a forearm . Sky with a hip toss and wrist lock. Jameson with a reversal and works on the shoulder. Jameson continues to work on the arm. Sky blocks a hip toss and hits a modified Fameasser. Sky sets for a DDT but Jameson sends Sky into the corner. Sky with an elbow and goes to the turnbuckles for a cross body but Jameson catches her and hits a fallaway slam.

Jameson with a forearm to the back and she hits a back breaker and stretches Sky on her knee. Sky with a knee to the head to get free. Jameson with a side Russian leg sweep but she misses an elbow drop. Sky with forearms and tries for a slam but she collapses under Jameson who gets a near fall with a lateral press.

Jameson with forearms to the back. Jameson runs Sky into the turnbuckles. Jameson stretches Sky around the ring post. Jameson gets a near fall. Jameson kicks Sky in the head and continues to taunt her. Jameson with a suplex and rolls through for a second one. Jameson hits a third one for a near fall. Jameson with a camel clutch and then turns it into a side head lock.

Sky with a jawbreaker but Jameson with a punch. Sky with a head scissors and clotheslines. Sky with a kick and Irish whip followed by a running back heel kick and bulldog for a near fall. Jameson tries for a slam but Sky counters with an inverted DDT for a near fall.

Sky tries for a Twist of Fate but Jameson counters with a back slide. Jameson with a uranage side slam for a near fall. Jameson with another near fall. Sky with a kick and Twist of Fate for the three count.

Winner: Reby Sky

Daffney comes to the ring and she introduces the voice of Shine, Lenny Leonard. Lenny comes to the ring and thanks everyone for coming out and reminds everyone that the next show will be August 17th.

Daffney brings out Jazz to accept her award from Diva-Dirt.com. She thanks Shine for giving her the opportunity to be on this show. She thanks Lexi and Daffney for giving her the chance to be a part of this show. She also wants to thank Diva-Dirt for this award.

She mentions that people don’t always realize the sacrifices made and how you are not around your family. This award shows how much people appreciate women’s wrestling. She thanks all of the women around the world who are in this business because she was once told that this was a man’s sport. She thanks all of the women in the industry for keeping the respect and dignity for this business.

Mercedes Martinez comes out and she yells at Jazz. She tells Jazz to get in the back since she got her award.

Match Number Six: Mercedes Martinez versus Leva Bates

Leva comes to the ring dressed like Spiderwoman.

She hangs from the turnbuckles to reveal her face to the referee.

Martinez with a baseball slide and she chokes Leva. Martinez with uppercuts in the corner followed by a chop. Martinez with forearms and another chop. Martinez with an Irish whip but Leva floats over and hits a Japanese arm drag followed by a head scissors and rana. Martinez prevents a monkey flip and sends her to the mat. Leva goes to the floor.

Leva drops Martinez on the ropes and kicks her in the head. Leva goes up top and sprays her web on Martinez and then hits a missile drop kick. Leva is unable to use her web again and Martinez with a savate kick to the head. Martinez chokes Leva in the corner. Martinez with a chop.

Martinez with a punch and forearms in the corner. Martinez with another baseball slide but Leva sprays her with her web again. Martinez recovers and hits a delayed vertical suplex and gets a near fall. Martinez chokes Leva in the ropes and sends her into the turnbuckles. Leva tries to float over but Martinez catches her. Leva hits Sliced Bread #2 for a near fall. Leva with forearms.

Martinez misses a clothesline and Leva with a forearm and kick. Martinez with a wheelbarrow suplex for a near fall. Martinez with a vertical choke slam and then she goes for the Jericho posing cover but can only get a near fall. Martinez with a chop in the corner and then she puts Leva on the top turnbuckle and connects with a punch. Martinez tries for a superplex but Leva stops her and tries for a sunset flip power bomb but Martinez holds on. Leva eventually hits the power bomb.

Leva goes to the turnbuckles and hits a missile drop kick to the back of the head but Martinez kicks out. Leva has a super kick blocked and then Martinez with a spinebuster and a fisherman’s buster for the three count.

Winner: Mercedes Martinez

Match Number Seven: Nikki Roxx vs. Rain

Rain and Nikki have a conversation before the match starts. Rain wants a Greco Roman knuckle lock and Rain has to stretch before Nikki thinks about accepting the challenge. Rain says that she is ready and Nikki with the advantage. Rain stomps on the foot and pulls her to the mat by the hair and applies a key lock.

Nikki with knees to the midsection. Nikki with a leap frog and sunset flip for a near fall. Nikki with a La Magistral for a near fall. Roxx with a rollup for a near fall. Roxx with a drop toe hold into a front face lock. Rain tries to grab the ropes with her foot but she is too far away.

Rain with a side head lock take down. Rain with a snap mare and kick to the back followed by knees to the back and elbows to the chest and she gets a near fall. Rain with a front face lock and knee to the midsection. Rain backs Roxx to the corner and connects with forearms. Rain with more forearms. Roxx blocks a hip toss and gives Rain a hip toss of her own. Roxx with a slam and Rain rolls to the floor.

Rain with a neck breaker and she gets a near fall. Rain with a cravate. Roxx with elbows but Rain holds on to the cravate. Rain with a cravate bulldog for a near fall. Rain returns to the cravate and drives Roxx to the mat. Rain works on the neck and hits a drop kick to the back of the neck for a near fall. Roxx with forearms but Rain holds on to the cravate.

Rain with a kick to the head for a near fall. Rain with a rear chin lock but Roxx gets Rain on her back and runs her into the turnbuckles. Rain gets her boot up when Roxx charges into the corner and Rain gets a near fall. Rain with knees to the back and then to the head. Rain with a rear chin lock and then a seated abdominal stretch.

Rain with forearms to the back and then she rolls through for a guillotine choke. Roxx rolls through and gets a near fall. Roxx runs Rain into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders in the corner. Rain with a rollup for a near fall and then she turns her attention to the legs.

Rain with head butts while returning to the cravate. Rain with forearms in the corner followed by an Irish whip and running knees into the corner. Rain gets a near fall. Roxx with head butts to Rain and she gets a near fall. Rain slams Roxx’s head into the mat. Rain tries for a Japanese stranglehold and eventually applies it.

Roxx gets to her feet but Rain with a lungblower for a near fall. Rain returns to the cravate and sends Nikki into the middle turnbuckle. Rain does it on the other side of the ring. She tries for a third time but Roxx is able to send Rain into the turnbuckles and hits a gutwrench suplex and both women are down. Roxx covers but Rain has her hand on the ropes.

Rain and Roxx exchange forearms until Roxx gets the advantage and hits a discus polish hammer. Roxx sends Rain into the turnbuckles as she takes her around the ring. Roxx climbs the turnbuckles for the punches of ten but Rain stops her at eight. Roxx with a running back elbow into the corner and a running boot to the chest for a near fall.

Roxx goes up top but Rain recovers and stops her. Rain with a press slam but she can only get a two count. Roxx stretches Rain on her back and then drives her to the mat for a near fall. Rain with knees but Roxx with a boot for a near fall. Rain with a rollup and a handful of tights for the three count.

Winner: Rain

After the match, Daffney interviews Rain. She asks Rain if there was something extra going on in the match. Rain says that she made an example of Nikki Roxx tonight and she will continue to make an example of the roster.

Match Number Eight: Sara Del Rey vs. Jazz

They lock up and Jazz backs Del Rey into the turnbuckles and gives a clean break. They lock up again and Del Rey backs Jazz into the corner. Sara pie faces Jazz and poses. Jazz pushes Del Rey to the mat and Jazz poses. Del Rey and Jazz have something to say to each other. They lock up again and Del Rey sends Jazz to the mat and then applies a side head lock.

Jazz rolls through to escape the hold. Jazz tells the referee that Del Rey pulled her hair. They lock up again and Jazz with a hammer lock into a side head lock. Jazz with a side head lock take down. Del Rey with a rollup for a near fall. Del Rey tries for a head scissors and applies it. Jazz counters into a modified Sharpshooter but Del Rey makes it to the ropes.

Del Rey with a waist lock and take down. Del Rey with a front face lock. Jazz with an arm bar and into a hammer lock and then she works on the other arm and wrist. Jazz with a near fall. Jazz with a half nelson cravate and rollup for a near fall.

Del Rey goes to the floor to regroup and she shows some frustration. They lock up and Jazz with a waist lock and she takes Sara to the mat. Del Rey works on the ankle while Jazz with a rear chin lock and crossfaces to the head. Jazz gets a near fall.

Del Rey with a knee to the midsection followed by kicks to the midsection. Del Rey with a deadlift gutwrench suplex for a near fall. Del Rey with a knee to the back. Del Rey pulls the hair while she has her knee in Jazz’s back. Jazz with forearms to the back and sends Del Rey into the turnbuckles. Jazz with a suplex and she floats over to get a near fall. Del Rey sends Jazz to the mat and then drops a knee to the head.

Jazz with punches to Del Rey but Del Rey with a knee. Del Rey chokes Jazz in the ropes. Del Rey argues with the referee. Jazz wit a back heel kick and more kicks to the ribs. Jazz with a back heel kick to the head. Jazz with a leaping leg drop for a two count. Jazz chokes Del Rey in the ropes.

Jazz drives Del Rey’s throat into the ring apron. She does it a second time. Jazz does it a third time. Jazz with a running boot to the head and Del Rey slumps to the floor. Jazz breaks the count. Jazz sends Del Rey into the guardrails and then into the apron. Jazz with boots to the midsection and then to the abdomen. Jazz with a seated splash for a near fall.

Del Rey with forearms to Jazz and then she hits a running boot to the chest. Del Rey with a double underhook but Jazz runs Del Rey into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Del Rey with an Irish whip and Liger Kick. Del Rey with kicks to the throat and then she chokes Jazz with her boot.

Del Rey with head butts. Del Rey with an Irish whip but Jazz with an uppercut. Jazz tells Del Rey to get her ass up. Jazz with jabs to Del Rey and it staggers Sara. Jazz with a punch to the head for a near fall. Jazz with a quarter nelson and forearms to the back.

Jazz with a butterfly suplex and she rolls through and hits a second one. Jazz holds on and hits a third one. Del Rey is able to get her foot on the rope to break the count. Jazz and Del Rey alternate near falls.

Del Rey with a knee and then she rolls through into a cross arm breaker but Jazz gets to the ropes. Del Rey with boots to the head and she reapplies the cross arm breaker. Jazz gets to the ropes again. Del Rey works on the arm and kicks Jazz in the arm and ribs. Del Rey stands on the shoulder as the referee warns her. She tells the referee that she can do whatever she wants because she is the Queen of Wrestling. Del Rey with a head butt.

Del Rey with a back heel kick to the head and then she applies a Fujiwara arm bar. Jazz crawls towards the ropes and is able to get there so Del Rey releases the hold. Del Rey with a knee to the arm. Del Rey wraps the arm in the ropes to add more damage to the arm.

Del Rey continues to work on the arm. Jazz with forearms to the back but Del Rey with another shots to the arm. Del Rey with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Del Rey with knees and then she sets for the Royal Butterfly with a guillotine choke. Del Rey hits the Royal Butterfly but Jazz kicks out. Del Rey is shocked that Jazz was able to kick out.

Del Rey has a kick blocked and Jazz with a Dragon Screw into a single leg crab and STF. Del Rey tries to get to the ropes and she is able to get there and Jazz releases the hold. Jazz pulls Del Rey back into the center of the ring and she reapplies the STF. Del Rey gets to the ropes again.

Jazz starts to show some frustration. Del Rey sends Jazz’s throat into the ropes. Del Rey with kicks to the arm. Del Rey gets Jazz on her shoulders but Jazz escapes and she kicks Del Rey and hits the X Factor for the three count.

Winner: Jazz

After the match, they shake hands and hug. Jazz raises Del Rey’s hand.
