FCW TELEVISION REPORT 5/13: OHNO/CESARO; STEAMBOAT/VICTOR; ROTUNDO/KRUGER

We are live on tape and your announcers are Chris ‘Better Late than Never’ Russo and Byron ‘What about the March 25th show’ Saxton.

Chris and Byron talk about the two matches that will move us closer to the Number One Contender for the FCW Heavyweight Title.

Match Number One: Kassius Ohno versus Antonio Cesaro in a Number One Contender Tournament Match

They lock up and Cesaro backs Ohno into the corner and connects with a knee and forearms. Cesaro sets for the Gotch Style Neutralizer but it is too soon in the match to hit it on Ohno and Kassius with a back body drop. Ohno tries for the roaring elbow but Cesaro gets into the ropes. Ohno with a side head lock and then a cravate.

Ohno with a shoulder tackle and a near fall. Cesaro backs Ohno into the corner. Cesaro with forearms and kicks as he takes advantage over his former tag team partner. Cesaro with more kicks to Ohno. Cesaro with a side head lock take down. Cesaro holds on when Ohno tries for an Irish whip. Ohno pulls known Cesaro’s knee pad and kicks him in the leg. Ohno sends Cesaro to the mat.

Ohno tries for an O’Connor Roll but Cesaro holds on to the ropes. Ohno with a flying forearm for a near fall. Cesaro sends Ohno face first into the turnbuckles to regain control of the match. Cesaro with a knee to Ohno and then he tries to slingshot Ohno into the bottom rope but Ohno escapes.

Cesaro with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Ohno with a head butt to the midsection but Cesaro with a kick and then he uses his boot to rake Ohno’s eyes. Cesaro with forearms to the kidneys as he sends Ohno off the ropes. Ohno goes to the apron and then Ohno back body drops Cesaro to the floor.

Ohno goes for a move to the floor but he sees Cesaro moving out of the way so Ohno uses the ropes and flips back into the ring. Ohno with a baseball slide through the ropes and it connects with Cesaro. Ohno sends Cesaro back into the ring and Cesaro rolls to the apron.

Cesaro with a thumb to the eyes followed by a clothesline and then he punches Ohno. We go to commercial.

We are back and Cesaro with a European uppercut for a near fall. Ohno rolls away from Cesaro and connects with punches to the midsection. Cesaro puts Ohno into the ropes and then works on the neck and gets a near fall. Cesaro traps the arm and head butts Ohno in the middle of the back. Ohno with a sunset flip for a near fall but Cesaro responds with a boot to the head.

Cesaro with kicks to Ohno and then he gets a near fall. Ohno struggles to get to his feet and Cesaro with a European uppercut to the back. Cesaro uses the ring post to stretch Ohno. Cesaro with a forearm into the corner followed by a kick to the head. Ohno tries to go between Cesaro’s legs but Cesaro stops him and hits a deadlift side salto for a near fall. Cesaro with a cravate into a chin lock. Ohno gets Cesaro on his back and runs him into the turnbuckles. Cesaro with a boot to a charging Ohno.

Cesaro with a boot to the head and then he connects with an elbow drop for a near fall. Cesaro with a leg drop for a near fall. Cesaro with an arm bar but he also works on Ohno’s neck using his leg. Ohno with punches to get away from Cesaro. Cesaro drops Ohno across the top rope and then connects with an elbow to get a near fall.

Cesaro with a slam and then he tries for an elbow drop but Ohno gets his knee up. Ohno with an elbow and chops to Cesaro. Ohno with a high knee and then he hits a reverse atomic drop and a flying clothesline. Ohno with a flying forearm into the corner followed by a flying clothesline. Ohno with a cravate swinging neck breaker for a near fall.

Ohno with a chop and a boot to the back of the head. Cesaro sends Ohno off the ropes and gets a near fall with a rollup. Cesaro with a take down and gets a near fall. Cesaro sets for the Gotch Style Neutralizer again but Ohno counters with a rollup for a near fall. Cesaro with a boot to the head but Ohno with a boot of his own.

Ohno winds up for the roaring elbow but Cesaro sees it coming and he pulls the referee in front of him and Ohno nails the referee with the elbow.

Winner: Kassius Ohno by disqualification

After the referee gets knocked out, Ohno and Cesaro exchange punches. Officials check on the referee, who is still out, while Ohno and Cesaro continue to battle. Wrestlers come out from the locker room to separate Ohno and Cesaro. Since this is wrestling, we know that won’t last long and Cesaro is the first to break free.

After the decision is announced, Ohno tries to pull Cesaro down from the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Bray Wyatt is on the floor and Eli Cottonwood is in the ring. He says that he knows us all better than we think we do. They are sitting in their favorite spot on their favorite couch listening to Bray Wyatt. He says that you think you are safe. Bray says that he is watching everything that you do. His words are penetrating through that screen like laser beams. In time, you will find that you will learn to love him like a father. You will learn that your friends and family have betrayed you. He says that he is the wolf who walks among the sheep.

Match Number Two: Bray Wyatt versus Benicio Salazar

Wyatt shakes Salazar’s hand before the bell rings. They lock up and Wyatt with punches. Wyatt with a slam followed by kicks and punches in the corner. Wyatt smothers Salazar in the corner. Wyatt with more punches and then he hits a splash into the corner. Now it is time for Wyatt and Salazar to dance and then he hits a spinning reverse STO for the three count.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

Brad Maddox is in the interview area and he says that because he beat a certain superstar at a live event, he gets a shot at the Jack Brisco Championship. Brad says that he will leave an impression on Richie Steamboat’s face. He says that he can’t stand him. It has been a while since they have faced each other. Brad mentions that Richie has won the Jack Brisco 15 Title and has gotten a big head over it.

It is time to take Richie down a peg. Brad wonders if it is just him. Is he going insane thinking that Richie is the face of FCW. He will break Richie’s leg and take his title before Richie gets a banner and burns this company to the ground. Brad says that he is going to do it because Richie doesn’t think that he can. Brad says that he will go out onto the field of battle and he will arrive violently and rip out his heart and leave it bleeding on the ground. Brad says that he has nothing to lose.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Rick Victor with Paige and Sofia Cortez versus Richie Steamboat

They lock up and Steamboat with a waist lock and Victor with a standing switch and take down. Steamboat with a hammer lock but Victor with a reversal. Steamboat with an elbow and he sends Victor into the corner. Victor with a forearm but Steamboat with a side head lock. Steamboat with a shouder tackle. Steamboat tries for an arm drag but Victor senses that it is coming and he moves out of the way.

Victor misses an elbow drop. Steamboat with an arm drag into an arm bar. Steamboat with a near fall. Steamboat with a key lock on Victor but Victor with a knee. Victor with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Steamboat with a shoulder tackle and arm drags. Steamboat with a drop kick that sends Victor into the corner. Steamboat with a chop and forearms. Steamboat sends Victor into the turnbuckles.

Victor with an elbow and then he sends Steamboat awkwardly into the turnbuckles. Victor with boots to the head. Victor with chops and Canadian Lifters. Steamboat with a series of chops. Victor with a suplex and a near fall. Victor with a knee to the back and elbow to the upper back. Victor continues to work on the neck with a rear chin lock. Victor with a forearm and Irish whip and then he applies a bear hug as Richie comes out of the corner.

Steamboat with forearms but Victor with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Victor with a rear chin lock and boot to the head. Steamboat with forearms and chops. Victor stops Richie with a boot but Richie with a power slam and running forearms. Steamboat with a back elbow into the corner followed by a flying clothesline for a near fall.

Steamboat goes to the apron and up top but Paige makes her way to the corner and grabs Steamboat’s leg and that allows Victor to hit a running Canadian Lifter. Victor with a Tiger Bomb but Victor takes too long to make the cover so Richie is able to kick out.

Victor shows some frustration and he goes to the floor. He takes a chair and while the referee deals with Victor, Paige comes into the ring and holds Steamboat while Sofia goes up top and hits a head scissors take down. Victor puts the chair down and makes the cover but Richie kicks out at two.

Steamboat blocks a Tiger Bomb attempt and hits a super kick. Steamboat gets the three count, even though Paige and Sofia appear to be close enough to pull Steamboat off Victor.

Winner: Richie Steamboat

After the match, Maddox makes his way to the ring and he hits the Deal Breaker on Steamboat. Brad has something to say to Richie.

The current FCW Tag Team Champions Corey Graves and Jake Carter are in the interview area with their manager Abraham Washington. Summer Rae is with them as well. She says that she has scheduled a match for next week. Corey and Jake will be defending their titles against The Ascension.

Abe says that he is the most influential man in the WWE. The WWE is all about talent and who knows more about talent than the premier talent agent. Abe has a message for Summer to give to the Ascension.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four: Leo Kruger versus Bo Rotundo in a Number One Contender Tournament Qualifier

Leo goes into the ropes to try to control Bo’s anger. Leo with a clothesline and European uppercuts. Kruger kicks Rotundo but Bo with an Irish whip and back body drop. Bo with a clothesline and a back elbow. Bo with a clothesline into the corner followed by a bulldog. Bo signals for the spear but Leo rolls to the apron.

Leo sends Bo into the corner and connects with a shoulder. Bo with a kick to Kruger to send him out of the corner. Bo tries for a boot to the head but Leo ducks and then he rolls Bo through the ropes to the floor. Leo goes to the floor and he connects with a forearm to the back before bringing Bo into the ring to get a near fall. Kruger with a cravate and then he applies a full nelson.

Leo with a kick to the back but Bo with a punch that is quickly neutralized. We go to commercial.

We are back and Kruger is in control and he has Rotundo in a cravate. Bo with punches but Leo with a knee and Bo bounces off the ropes and falls to the mat. Kruger with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Kruger punches Bo while Bo is on the apron and Kruger taunts Bo. Bo with a punch and shoulder. Bo tries for a sunset flip but Leo drops down and gets a near fall with help from the ropes. Bo with the sunset flip for a near fall.

Leo with kicks to Bo and then he leaps onto Bo’s chest and gets a near fall. Bo with punches to get out of the corner and he Irish whips Kruger but Kruger with an elbow and a running drop kick for a near fall.

Kruger punches Rotundo and he hits a corkscrew fisherman’s buster but Rotundo kicks out at two. Kruger begs the referee to help him out. Kruger punches Bo in the head. Kruger signals for the sleeper. Bo runs Kruger into the turnbuckles. Bo tries for an abdominal stretch but Leo escapes it and connects with a forearm. Leo comes off the ropes but Bo with a spear for the three count.

Winner: Bo Rotundo
