LOOKING AT THE WIN/LOSS RECORDS OF TNA AND WWE: WEEK SIX

By Darren Bongiovanni on 2012-02-13 08:52:18

NOTES FOR THE WEEK:
Welcome to Week 6 of Darren’s Win-Loss Records Column for the week of February 6-12, 2012. Due to TNA Against All Odds, this column was delayed. I should’ve made note of that last week. Speaking of that, next week will be delayed until Sunday due to the WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View, or as John Laurinaitis called it the WWE Elimination Pay-Per-View.

This week’s Raw & Smackdown was the 1st time in 5 weeks that Brodus Clay has not appeared on either show making it 3 shows straight without him appearing on it. The 6-Pack Challenge match is considered a multiple person match, along the lines of a Triple Threat or Fatal 4-Way, therefore Chris Jericho gets the win, while the other 5 competitors receive a loss, it is also the 21st Gimmick Match of the year.

The only thing of note on NXT was that there were 5 matches, which is the most number of matches so far this year on NXT. On Superstars, nothing important happened except Jack Swagger wrestled in his 2nd Non-Title Match in a row.

On Impact, we had our 22nd Gimmick Match and 7th for TNA with the 3-Way X-Division Match. This was also the 3rd week in a row that there were no No Contests on Impact, and it was the 1st time in 6 weeks since I started this column that there were no No Contests on any of the shows.

On Smackdown, besides the no No Contests, this week marked the 4th time that Ted DiBiase & Hunico wrestled each other, giving them the most rematches out of anyone on both rosters.

This week we added our 1st Pay-Per-View of February with TNA Against All Odds. The Pay-Per-View gave us our 1st 5 title matches of the month, as well as our 2nd title change of the year, as Magnus & Samoa Joe became the new TNA World Tag Team Champions. We also got our 23rd Gimmick Match with the 4-Way Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Against All Odds also added our 99th & 100th Wrestler to the list for the year, Shannon Moore & Garett Bischoff, respectively.

Now without further ado, here are the Win-Loss Records for this week, followed by the results of the week that was. Thanks again to Mike for posting this and to all of you for reading it. Please send all feedback and comments to my Twitter Account (@hbkid718).
