FLORIDA CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TELEVISION REPORT: FCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH; FCW DIVAS TITLE MATCH; DEAN AMBROSE MAKES HIS DEBUT WITH A PROMO; A ROTUNDO FAMILY REUNION?

We are live on tape from Tampa, Florida and your announcers are Matt ‘Happy Day Before the Fourth of July’ Martlaro and William ‘Fine, you won that one’ Regal.

William and Matt talk about the two title matches tonight before we go to the first match of the night.

Match Number One: Xavier Woods versus Brad Maddox

They lock up and Woods works on the arm but Maddox reverses and he works on the wrist. Woods with a reversal of his own and he takes Maddox to the mat and applies an arm bar. Maddox backs Woods into the corner and then he punches and kicks Woods. Maddox misses a clothesline and then Maddox avoids a kick to the head but he does not avoid a leg sweep and Woods gets a near fall.

Maddox with a forearm but Woods with a punch. Woods with the somersault handspring clothesline to Maddox. Woods with chops in the corner. Maddox with an Irish whip and Woods tries to float over but Maddox grabs Woods’ legs and he sends him into the ropes and then Maddox with a leg drop and a near fall. Maddox with a punch that sends Woods back to the mat.

Woods with punches but Maddox with forearms to the back. Maddox trips Woods as he comes off the ropes and then Maddox with a back senton for a near fall. Maddox with a forearm to the back but Woods with forearms. Maddox with a shoulder to the midsection and then he takes Woods to the mat and he punches Xavier. Maddox with a chin lock and he traps Woods’ arm.

Maddox and Woods exchange punches and then Woods with a shoulder tackle. Maddox tries for a sleeper but Woods sends Maddox into the corner. Woods with a back body drop and forearms followed by a chop. Woods with a head scissors take down followed by a drop kick. Woods with a kick and then he hits a swinging neck breaker for a near fall.

Woods misses a splash into the corner and Maddox is sent into the corner followed by a back kick from Woods. Woods tries for a monkey flip out of the corner but Maddox holds on to the ropes. Maddox hits the Deal Closer for the three count.

Winner: Brad Maddox

We go to the back and Maxine is trying to get someone to help Lucky Cannon whose head is stuck in an ice machine. They pull him out and he is shivering.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Byron Saxton has something to say before his match. Byron appears to be mocking Titus O’Neil’s pose before he speaks. Saxton says in a few moments he will do something that he has been waiting a long long time to do. For the last year in FCW, there has been a fraud running around. He is trying to get everyone’s approval and think that he is a big shot. Byron says that it was cool until that fraud joined him on NXT and that is when the fraud impacted his career. In a few moments Titus O’Neil is going to come out. He is going to bark, he is going to step inside the ring, and then they are going to play a game of exposure. In that game, he will expose Titus . . .

But we will never find out the rest of the game because Titus’s music barks and he comes to the ring.

Match Number Two: Byron Saxton versus Titus O’Neil

They lock up and Titus sends Saxton to the mat. They lock up again and Saxton with a waist lock but Titus backs him into the corner. Titus with a clean break and then he sends Saxton into the corner and follows that with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Saxton comes off the turnbuckles but Titus catches him. Titus with a knee followed by a slam and Saxton goes to the floor.

Titus barks while Saxton tries to regroup. Saxton with a shoulder on the apron and then he drops Titus across the top rope and then the back of the neck and he returns to the ring with a running neck breaker for a near fall.

Saxton with kicks to the midsection and then he chokes Titus in the ropes. Saxton gets a near fall and then he goes to the reverse chin lock. Titus gets back to his feet but Saxton with a knee and punch to stagger Titus into the corner. Saxton with kicks to Titus as the referee warns him.

Titus with kicks to Saxton but Saxton with a knee and then he goes to the turnbuckles. Saxton with forearms across the chest but Titus stops Saxton on top and then Titus with a press slam. Titus with a running shoulder tackle or two followed by a clothesline and power slam. That means that it is time for Titus to bark. Titus with a fallaway slam to Saxton and he gets a near fall.

Titus gets Byron up for a power slam but Saxton goes to the floor. Titus follows but Saxton kicks Titus as he returns to the ring. Titus runs Saxton into the ring post and Saxton is down. Saxton grabs a chair and he throws it at Titus, but Titus swats the chair at Byron.

The referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Titus O’Neil by disqualification

After the match, Titus grabs a chair and brings it into the ring but Saxton leaves the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Briley Pierce is in the interview area with Dean Ambrose. Dean is asked about his plans in FCW. Dean says that the question burning in everybody’s mind is what would happen if Dean Ambrose would face Seth Rollins. Dean says that he already knows the answer to who would win and Rollins knows deep down as well. If Rollins wants to erase any doubt that he is as good as everyone else thinks he is, then Rollins will face him one on one in the ring. Dean says that he is a trendsetter and a difference maker. He did not come here to fit in anybody’s mold. He tells everyone to forget what they know about FCW and this industry because Dean Ambrose is going to blow the doors off everything.

Matt and William discuss Dean Ambrose’s comments and how he set his sights on Seth Rollins and Regal likes that he is willing to challenge someone on top and Regal comments about how he is smiling after that promo.

Norman Smiley is in the back and he has Raquel Diaz and Alexander Rusev enter his office. Norman says that his goal for them in FCW is to send them to the next level. Raquel says that they are excited for this opportunity. From out of nowhere, Maxine storms in and she throws a drink at Norman. Maxine tells Norman if he knew how to do his job this wouldn’t happen. Maxine tells Raquel to get out of her way.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Kaitlyn versus Aksana in an FCW Divas Title Match

They lock up and Kaitlyn with a waist lock but Aksana with a standing switch. Kaitlyn works on the wrist and then she lifts Aksana up by the wrist and she gets a near fall. Kaitlyn with an arm bar as he continues to work on the wrist. Aksana with a kip up followed by an STO for a near fall. Aksana with an Irish whip but she misses a charge into the corner. Aksana floats over but she is sent to the apron. Aksana with a forearm but Kaitlyn with a kick and head butt to the midsection for a near fall. Kaitlyn with a body scissors into a rollup for a near fall.

Aksana gets out of the hold and after a few standing switches Aksana tries for a sunset flip but Katilyn does not go over. Kaitlyn drops down with a seated splash and gets a near fall. Aksana gets a near fall. Kaitlyn with a knee to the midsection as Aksana comes off the ropes and Kaitlyn gets a near fall.

Kaitlyn returns to the body scissors but Aksana with elbows to try to get out of the hold. Kaitlyn with forearms to the back. Aksana with a jawbreaker and forearm. Aksana with an elbow followed by a flying clothesline and a drop kick. Aksana with a slap to Kaitlyn for a near fall. Aksana with a backslide for the three count.

Winner: Aksana

We go to Bo Rotundo in the back as he gets ready for his title defense. He tells someone that he bets his hands are cold. We go to commercial.

Match Number Five: Damien Sandow with Maxine versus Bo Rotundo for the FCW Heavyweight Title

Bo with a punch to the midsection as he avoids a tie up and Bo with more punches. Sandow with a kick and punches of his own. Bo with an Irish whip followed by a back body drop. Bo with kicks and punches to Sandow in the corner. Bo with a single leg sweep followed by a knee drop and he gets a near fall. Bo with a side head lock and Sandow backs Bo into the corner and he connects with a shoulder and head butt.

Bo with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Bo tries to send Sandow into the corner but Sandow blocks it. Bo does the same and he sends Sandow into the turnbuckles. Sandow with a knee to the midsection followed by a forearm to the back. Sandow runs the laces of his boot across Bo’s face. Sandow punches Rotundo and then he pulls Rotundo to the apron and he connects with an elbow. Sandow puts the ring skirt over Bo and he kicks Bo forcing Bo to the floor.

Sandow runs Bo’s back into the apron. Sandow gets a near fall when he returns to the ring. Sandow with a forearm to the back and he applies a reverse chin lock and he adds his body weight onto Bo and then he uses the ropes for extra leverage.

Rotundo gets a near fall with a rollup but Sandow with a punch and slam. Sandow misses a leaping knee drop. Bo with punches and kicks to Sandow. Sandow with an Irish whip and clothesline as Bo comes out of the corner. Sandow punches Bo in the corner but Bo avoids a punch and he kicks Sandow in the corner. Bo with an Irish whip but Bo runs into a knee from Sandow and Sandow gets a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sandow is in control of the match and he gets a near fall. We go to footage from the commercial break when Sandow sent Rotundo into the ring post and Bo’s shoulder hit the post. Sandow with a reverse chin lock on Rotundo. Bo with punches but Sandow with a head butt. Sandow with a side Russian leg sweep followed by a fist drop to the head and he gets a near fall. Sandow rubs Bo’s face into the mat and then he punches Bo. Sandow gets a near fall and he follows that with a kick and then he drops a knee to the midsection. Sandow with a head lock as he stretches Bo. Sandow with a knee to the back and then he applies a chin lock. Sandow traps the arm to make it harder for Bo to escape.

Rotundo punches Sandow and runs him into the corner to get out of the hold. Bo with a clothesline followed by forearms and then he hits a running clothesline into the corner but Sandow avoids the bulldog and he goes to the floor. Rotundo follows after Sandow and he punches Sandow. Sandow returns to the ring but Sandow collides with the referee when Rotundo moves.

Bo with a front face lock but Sandow with a low blow but there is no referee. Sandow with a swinging neck breaker and Sandow looks for the referee. Lucky Cannon comes out and he takes the referee’s shirt and puts it on so he is a referee. Sandow covers Bo and Lucky makes a quick count.

Winner: Damien Sandow

After the match, Norman Smiley tells Lucky Cannon that he is not a referee so he should not be wearing the referee’s shirt. Norman then tells Lucky to get out of the ring or he is going to fine Lucky. Norman is going to restart the match and we have a new referee.

The bell rings and the referee takes the belt from Sandow and Rotundo hits a spear and gets the three count.

Winner: Bo Rotundo

After the match, Lucky Cannon attacks Bo Rotundo and Damien Sandow joins in on the attack. From out of nowhere, Husky Harris comes to the ring and he goes after Sandow and Cannon with a series of clotheslines. Harris sends Sandow over the top rope and then Harris clotheslines Cannon over the top rope.

Husky and Bo stare each other down in the center of the ring and then Husky leaves as we go to credits.
