MORE ON THE UNDERTAKER-BROCK LESNAR CONFRONTATION

By Dave Scherer on 2010-10-24 16:14:57

Obviously, people are buzzing about a possible Brock Lesnar-Undertaker match after last night's face off at the UFC show (chronicled elsewhere on the site).

What I can tell you is that WWE would love to have Taker and Lesnar face off at this year's WrestleMania and according to a few sources in the company have discussed a Lesnar return internally.  It will take a lot of money to make it happen (at least million of dollars) and Lesnar would also have to want to do it.  That is a big if, especially after he lost last night.  The fighter in him has to want to make up for what happened in the Octagon.

Steven Fernandes sent this report.

A few media outlets have picked up the Brock Lesnar/Undertaker confrontation from last night's UFC event.  You can read the coverage from The USA Today by clicking here.

Also, the following press release was sent out today.

(Media-Newswire.com) - A post fight stare down between WWE's Undertaker and Brock Lesnar showed video of the two stars glaring at each other as Lesnar walked away from the cage after his UFC 121 loss. The Undertaker was being video interviewed as he stood in the crowd when Lesnar walked by glaring at the wrestler.

Lesnar appeared to stop in front of the Undertaker who uttered the words "You want to do it..." to which Lesnar continued walking away from the huge professional wrestler. the Undertaker, appearing out of character, mentioned that 'It's personal.." between him and Brock as to the apparent strained relationship. Stunned onlookers could only watch in fear of a possible problem breaking out between the two huge stars. The WWE star would not reveal any issues between the fighters on camera repeating that it is personal to the reporter interviewing the star. Several rumors are circulating about a possible return to WWE for Lesnar with the comment from the Undertaker relating to that rather than a problem. No confirmation of these rumors has been made.

Lesnar came into the UFC 121 match as a huge favorite but MMA experts knew Cain Velasquez had a real chance to dethrone the champion which he did in stunning fashion. The match ended with a bloody Lesnar covering up on the mat having taken repeated shots from Velasquez who becomes the first Mexican MMA champion.
