FULL RESULTS FROM DRAGON GATE USA'S MERCURY RISING PPV TAPING: BXB HULK, YOSHINO, TOMMY DREAMER VERSUS JON MOXLEY; MATCH ANNOUNCED FOR CANADA DEBUT

JP Nichols is at the Mercury Theater in Phoenix, Arizona for the Dragon Gate USA ‘Mercury Rising’ pay per view and sends in the following results:

Dark Match:

The Cutler Brothers, Malachi Jackson, and Chimera defeated Irish Airborne, Derrick Neikirk, and The Prophet

Match Number One: TJP versus Brad Allen

TJP defeats Brad Allen by submission with a Figure Four Cloverleaf.

Match Number Two: Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw versus The Young Bucks

Quackenbush and Jigsaw defeated The Young Bucks with a double stomp Jig n Tonic on Matt in what was described as a great match.

After the match, the Young Bucks got on the mic and announced that Quackenbush and Jigsaw are the new team to beat in Dragon Gate USA.

These matches were for the DVD only. The pay per view taping starts with the next match.

Pay Per View Match Number One: Shingo versus Genki Horiguchi with CIMA, Dragon Kid, and Gamma

Shingo defeats Horiguchi with a combination of a Death Valley Driver, lariat, and Last Falconry.

Jimmy Jacobs comes to the ring for the next match, but Teddy Hart comes to the ring. He mentions that he has done some of the craziest stuff in wrestling today. Teddy says that London and Kendrick were the same way until they got handcuffed by the WWE. Teddy says that whether you like him or not, he does his best for the fans. Teddy says that he has watched Jacobs for a long time and he mentions a botched power bomb from Ring of Honor and says that because Jimmy has ‘f***ing big balls’ he wants Jimmy to take his spot tonight. Jacobs accepts Teddy’s spot.

Paul London and Brian Kendrick come out and Kendrick questions it after Jacobs got pinned by him last night. The match is now a ‘loser leaves the company match’. Hart praises London and Kendrick’s ability and then comes out to hug them. London and Kendrick attack Hart. Jacobs tries to help but he is attacked by London and Kendrick. Jack Evans comes out to help Jacobs and the tag match is about to begin.

Also during Teddy’s promo, he mentioned Stu Hart’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Pay Per View Match Number Two: Jimmy Jacobs and Jack Evans versus Paul London and Brian Kendrick in a Loser Leaves the Company Match

Jacobs and Evans defeat Kendrick and London when Jacobs got Kendrick to tap to The End Time. As a result, Kendrick must leave Dragon Gate USA. After the match, London attacks Jacobs and Evans until Hart comes out and hits a low blow on London. Hart then gives London a piledriver. Hart raises Jacobs and Evans’ hands.

Pay Per View Match Number Three: Tommy Dreamer versus Jon Moxley with Christina Von Eerie in a Hardcore Rules Match

Moxley defeats Dreamer with a DDT onto a chair. During the match, Von Eerie interfered and Dreamer tried to piledrive Von Eerie but the referee stopped Dreamer. Dreamer attacked the referee and hit a piledriver on Von Eerie. Yamato and Shingo came out and attacked Dreamer. Dreamer fought back until Moxley hit the DDT.

After the match, Moxley, Shingo, and Yamato posed in the ring.

Pay Per View Match Number Four: YAMATO versus Susumu Yokosuka in the Open the Dream Gate Title Match

YAMATO defeats Yokosuka with a Gallaria (inverted facelock into a sit out slam piledriver) in what is described as a fantastic match.

Pay Per View Match Number Five: CIMA, Gamma, and Dragon Kid versus BxB Hulk, Naruki Doi, and Masato Yoshino

BxB Hulk, Naruki Doi, and Masato Yoshino defeat CIMA, Gamma, and Dragon Kid when Yoshino made Gamma tap to Sol Naciente. (spinning head scissors into triangle choke). Match was between 25 and 30 minutes.

After the match, Masato Yoshino challenged BxB Hulk for the Open the Freedom Gate Championship. Hulk accepted the challenge and the match will take place when Dragon Gate USA makes their debut in Canada.
