Smackdown opened with CM Punk and Jeff Hardy in the ring. Both said that they will come out of the Bash with the World Title. Both agreed that the better man would win on the 28th.
In the first match, Jeff Hardy beat Chris Jericho after Rey Mysterio came out and attacked Jericho. That led to Jericho losing by countout.
The Great Khali beat Dolph Ziggler via DQ after Ziggler used a chair.
After Melina beat Alicia Fox, Michelle McCool attacked Melina and laid her out.
Edge beat John Morrison in a good match.
R Truth and Cryme Tyme beat Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas and Ricky Ortiz when Truth pinned Benjamin.
Rey Mysterio then challenged Chris Jericho to an Intercontinental Title match. Jericho accepted as long as Rey would unmask if he lost. Rey agreed and the match is on.
Rey then took on CM Punk, while Jericho went to ringside and did commentary. You can guess what happened next as Jericho attacked Rey leading to Punk getting the pinfall.
That was the Smackdown main event. They then had a cage match where Hardy and Mysterio beat Edge and Jericho. It was a good match.
Overall, it was another good Smackdown.
