WWE Tag Team champions The Miz and John Morrison drew an estimated 500-600 to their autograph signing in New York City yesterday as part of the Royal Rumble festivities. We heard from a few people that were there that not only was the signing packed, but when they left and got into a limo after finishing up, fans swarmed the limo and were rocking it and even chasing it down the street. Billy Krotchsen, who attended the signing, described it as "a scene out of Almost Famous, almost like a rock n' roll cliche with fans mobbing the stars."
Ric Flair will be signing today at 2 PM at the WWE's AXXESS booth at the Southstreet Seaport today, while Beth Phoenix and Brian Kendrick are signing at 10 AM at the AT&T store on 34th Street.
For you Brock Lesnar fans awaiting his UFC debut, SpikeTV will feature a UFC81 preview show built around his debut fight against Frank Mir on 1/30 at 11 PM Eastern, followed by a personality profile on the former Wrestlemania main eventer on 1/31 at midnight. The specials will be replayed on 2/1, the day of the fight, that morning.
