On RVD TV:
"Basically it's genuine, it's honest, it's as real as it gets. I have a camera following me doing stuff that I do in my real life...so now I wanna share a lot of the real me with my fans and other people that are interested, on RVD TV you see the real RVD, you see me working out, you see me interacting with people on the streets in Hollywood or Venice Beach here in California, and sometimes we plan out a little adventure, go on it, it's fun, I have a lot of friends that are famous as well..."
On a potential MMA career:
"I like to train, I'm a big fan of MMA, first off you know and I like to train, I've always been a fighter and I work out with Justin [McCully] and Samoa Joe. In fact that is this weeks episode of RVD TV on Friday, you get to see me, Justin and Samoa Joe mixing it up and training. But as far as actually going professional status or you know pursuing that as a career, that's not something I see me doing, I have my energy put into a lot of other things that I think are gonna keep me busy. Now if mixed martial arts had have been around when I was 18 years old, then forget about it, you couldn't stop me."
On his departure from the WWE:
"It definitely is the case, I have a wide open door to return to WWE, in fact when I chose to not re-sign back in June, they were very much in high hopes that after two or three months that I'd be ready to return. I knew it was gonna take at least six, maybe 12 months before I'd even be ready to come back, and that is what I told them, but I left with the door open, we're on great terms, they're hoping that I'll be ready to talk business again real soon."
