Another weekend, another full set of shows as both Raw and Smackdown/ECW hit the road for three house shows before their usual televised events.
Raw starts their run tonight, January 18th, at the War Memorial Arena at Onecenter in Syracuse, New York. Fans with tickets from the canceled September 28th show will have their tickets honored at this event.
Raw then runs on Saturday, January 19th at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena in Jamestown, New York. Again, tickets from the previously postponed Jamestown show will be honored here. Shawn Michaels is advertised for the event, making it two weeks in a row that HBK is working the house show swing.
The Raw crew then runs on Sunday, January 20th at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, New York with a 3pm start time. Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, JBL, Umaga, Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix are scheduled to appear.
Raw broadcasts (in HD, in case you didn't hear) from the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia on Monday, January 21st with Shawn Michaels vs. Ken Kennedy and Triple H vs. a mystery opponent in his "last chance" to earn a spot in the Royal Rumble.
The combined Smackdown and ECW crew starts their run on Saturday, January 19th at the Bryce Jordan Center in State, College, Pennsylvania with the following matches advertised for the event:
- World Champion Edge vs. Batista.
- ECW Champion CM Punk vs. Shelton Benjamin.
- WWE Tag Team Champions Jesse & Festus vs. Miz & John Morrison.
- Ric Flair vs. Mark Henry.
- Fit Finlay vs. Great Khali.
- WWE.com is advertising Undertaker, Kane and Rey Mysterio for the event.
Smackdown and ECW then runs on Sunday, January 20th at the Wicomico Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Edge vs. Batista headlines the show, and originally Undertaker & Matt Hardy were to face Fit Finlay & MVP, although that obviously won't be taking place.
Once again, Smackdown/ECW has a Monday night house show up against Raw on January 21st, with the crew running at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Maryland with Batista, Undertaker, Great Khali, Rey Mysterio, Kane, MVP, CM Punk, John Morrison and Tommy Dreamer listed to appear.
The final WWE television programs before the Royal Rumble, ECW and Smackdown, will be broadcast/taped on Tuesday, January 22nd at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia with ECW Champion CM Punk vs. Chavo Guerrero.
