For those of you in Canada who have asked, we've confirmed that Viewer's Choice PPV will not be carrying the Undeniable PPV. I was told that this is at least in part due to a shake-up at the Fight Network and hopefully ROH will be back on the air by the time the next PPV airs in March.
Ring of Honor announced a cross-promotion with The Smashing Pumpkins yesterday as the song "Doomsday Clock" will be used on the Undeniable PPV. There is also a music video set to ROH footage available online. Billy Corrgan has been a huge wrestling fan for years and was a regular visiting at the old ECW. ROH should be announcing what Dragon Gate names will be appearing at the Wrestlemania 24 weekend events in Orlando, Florida shortly.
Added to the 2/23 Sixth Anniversary event in New York City, which will feature title bouts for every championship recognized by the company, is Delirious vs. Human Tornado. Nigel McGuinness vs. Bryan Danielson for the ROH title will headline the event. Also scheduled for the anniversary show are ROH Tag Team champions Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black, FIP champ Erick Stevens, Roderick Strong, Davey Richards, Rocky Romero, Kevin Steen, El Generico, Ruckus, Jigsaw, Julius Smokes, The Necro Butcher, Brent Albright and more to be announced.
Ring of Honor is touting there will be a "mini-convention" at the 1/25 return to Dayton, Ohio, which is carny for "we are going to try and keep the crowd from being bored while we set up the Steel Cage for our main event that night" as there will be a Q&A and autograph sessions before McGuinness defends the ROH title against Chris Hero.
