WWE SETS UP A PLAYBOY STORYLINE, ROCK RELATIVE MAKES IT TO TV AND MORE

For those that missed it last night, Kane was added to the list of entrants for the Royal Rumble.  A few readers have asked how Kane, Batista and Undertaker could be added to the Rumble list without winning a qualifying match.  I guess the simple (and honest) answer is "Because WWE said so".  Click here for the updated list.

WWE.com has a WWE Mobile exclusive of Ashley telling Maria that she was at the Playboy Mansion on New Years' Eve and Hugh Hefner pulled her aside and asked her who she thinks should be the next WWE diva to be on the cover of Playboy. Before she could continue, Santino interrupts them and tells Ashley the only people who will see Maria naked are "former Intercontinental champions who were plucked from the crowd in Italy and beated the Umaga" and asks her if she is one of those people. Thanks to Renn for the following. ... Anyone who wishes to see the Rock in action can get the next best thing (sort of) on American Gladiators. It turns out that the Gladiator Toa (who's real name is Tanoai Reed) is the first cousin of Duane Johnson.  In addition, Toa has appeared in at least one of the Rock's movies as his stunt double.  This was in The Rundown, where Toa shattered his ankle during the course of filming.
