FAN ANGERS BATISTA: TWO MORE DETAILED REPORTS FROM THE 12/26 SMACKDOWN/ECW SHOW IN ALBANY NEW YORK

Before the show started by where the wrestlers come out I saw Tim White walking around and he then shook hands with the guy who usually is the ring bell guy for RAW. That guy then got 2nd row seats he was with his kids.

Justin Roberts to ring. Teddy Long to ring. Teddy runs down the card and says Rey Mysterio is not here tonight but Carlito from RAW is here. Teddy then says are 1st match will start right now. Teddy introduces the 1st wrestler to come out. As Tommy Dreamer came out, Teddy said “From Yonkers, New York at 255 pounds….” Teddy got out of ring. Dreamer laughed and put up his hands and was like but whats my name. Crowd laughed.

1ST MATCH: Tommy Dreamer vs. Elijah Burke, Ref. Scott Armstrong
ok match crowd solidly be hide Dreamer. Burke sold that he was want the crowd was their to see throughout match. Dreamer won with the dreamer driver for the win. Dreamer got of ring and went over to a guy who had a sign “Tommy Dreamer still rules!” and Dreamer gave the fan his shirt and dreamer left saluting the fans.

2ND MATCH: Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Mark Henry, Ref Charles Robinson
Quick match, but Jimmy got some offence in. But Henry caught Yang off the rope off a back flip into a slam and pinned Yang.

3RD MATCH: John Morrison & Miz vs. Jesse & Festus WWE TAG TITLES MATCH, ref Jim Kourdais
Morrison & Miz talk on heat and draw heat. Miz was actually good on the mic, Miz then told everyone to shut up. Miz & Morrison then showed off there abs for all the ladies but was interrupted by “Biscuits & Gravy” Festus & Jesse came out. Match was of nice length. Match was Jesse getting beat up by the heels who kept tagging in and out keeping each other fresh. Festus got in and cleaned house but Festus threw Miz out and was rolled up by Morrison for the win. Morrison & Miz leave with their belts in the air.

4TH MATCH Victoria vs. Michelle McCool vs. Layla vs. Kelly Kelly BEST BODY BIKINI CONTEST.
Victoria comes out in in a t-shirt, McCool in a HHH shirt, Layla & Kelly in robes. Victoria stripped down to a 1 piece red suit and did her funky dancing and the worm then fell off top rope. McCool stripped down to a thong bikini and showed her body off on each top rope and center of ring. Layla stripped down to bikini and danced around. Kelly stripped down to a tiny thong bikini and did the same as McCool on the ropes. Roberts ruled that it was between McCool & Kelly but said Kelly wins. The heels attack Kelly with McCool & Kelly cleaning ring. McCool & Kelly show off some more until Jamie Noble music hits and he comes out in a T-Shirt that read “It must suck to be Chuck.” Noble had a huge grin on his face, Kelly gets out of ring. Noble says to McCool that she looks awesome that she is the best looking girl he's ever seen. And talk to her. Chuck Palumbo comes out and says to Noble girls like McCool will never be with guys like you. Chuck had McCool stand next to him then Noble and said ya see what's wrong here. Chuck says “Jamie you're not like me you're a redneck, and you're short, u live in a trailer.” McCool tells Chuck not to be so mean as Noble lost his grin and was frowning. Chuck kicked down Noble and yelled at McCool. Chuck said these people don’t deserve to see your body and gave her his jacket and told her to leave.

5TH MATCH: Jamie Noble vs. Chuck Palumbo 
Short match with Chuck beating up Noble then Noble rolling up Chuck with the tights to win. Noble celebrates out of ring as Chuck yells at crowd and pounds ring.

6TH MATCH Chavo Guerrero vs. CM Punk ECW TITLE MATCH, ref Scott Armstrong
good match with Chavo jumping off top rope and Chavo using a lot of submission holds. Which got old after awhile literally 3 minutes of Chavo having CM down with Chavo trying to get CM to tap with CM aging in pain. CM misses the GTS but then hits it after a missed Gory bomb by Chavo and Cm gets the win. Justin Roberts then says it time for intermission

INTERMISSION

7TH MATCH MVP vs. Carlito U.S. Title Match ref Charles Robinson
Dean Malenko could be seen at entrance way watching match and taking notes. Carlito was the face with MVP saying its too cold in NY and he wants to go back to Miami. Good long match with great wrestling. It ended with MVP going for playmaker but Carlito reversing it and going for backstabber but ref in ropes MVP gives Carlito a low blow, and MVP hits playmaker for the win. Carlito and Robinson walk to back where Malenko stands up from the table and follows them back.

8TH MATCH Edge vs. Batista WORLD TITLE MATCH IN A NO DQ MATCH, ref Jim Korderes 
great match best of night. Edge on way to ring actually signed an autograph for a kid!, During Batista entrance he went to stand up on top rope when a fan in from row did something (I don’t know if he yelled or spit or threw something at him) but Batista jumped out of ring in his face the head of security pushed the fan back. Batista got into ring said something to Edge and pointed at the fan. When the match starts Batista & Edge fight into the crowd and the ref and security guy follow. Batista hits Edge with a cardboard box and then hits Edge with a full box of popcorn which goes flying everyway. After 2 minutes they head back into ring then back out around ring. Using steel steps and ring post & chairs. Match ends with Batista hitting Batista bomb and 1 of the Edgeheads (former Major Bros.) running to ring and getting a spinebuster from Batista. Batista hits Edge with another Batista bomb, and 2nd Edgehead runs to ring and pulls ref out of ring. Other Edgehead hands Edge the world title, Batista goes for 3rd Batista bomb and Edge hits Batista with the title then covers him to the win. Edge & Edgeheads stumble as they leave and hold hands in victory. Batista leaves to a big crowd ovation. 

MAIN EVENT MATCH Big Daddy V & Great Khali w/ Matt Striker vs. Kane & Undertaker ref Mickey Henson
Ok match which was long. The match got boring chants because for literally 7 minutes (the truth) Khali had the vice grip on Kane’s face then Kane would almost get free then back again over and over and over! Fans started to leave at this point finally Taker got in ring (almost tripping over top rope) and broke it up by taking Khali out. Taker then grabbed a bottle water from a fan and pour it over himself and Kane tagged him in they tossed Daddy V out of ring and gave Khali a double chokeslam for the win.

Just a note Justin Roberts had to bring back after each match started whatever the wrestlers wore to ring. Roberts tripped over the steel steps and at one point towards end of show.

Usual well attended post Holiday House Show for WWE. Lots of kids with Mysterio masks and shirts. People were disappointed Rey wasn't there.

Teddy Long opens the show running down the card. Edge/Batista is No DQ.

1. Tommy Dreamer b Elijah Burke

Good response for Tommy. Dreamer wins clean with the DDT.

2. Mark Henry b Jimmy Wang Yang

Yang got some hope spots but pretty much a squash. Henry wins clean via Bearhug submission.

3. John Morrison and Miz b Festus and Jesse.

Pre match mic work by Morrison and Miz leading to them ripping off Rick Rude's old male stripper act. Festus was over doing the bell gimmick.

Morrison pinned Jesse with a rollup for the finish.

4. Best Body Contest: Kelly Kelly b Victoria, Layla and Michelle McCool

Victoria was great doing the clumsy heel act.

No thongs. They have really toned down the outfits.

Kelly won.

Post match saw Noble come out and try to ask Michelle out on another date but Palumbo interrupted. Palumbo runs down Noble and eventually attacks him. Leading to...

5. Jamie Noble b Chuck Palumbo

The crowd wasn't into Noble as a babyface yet. Very little heat. Noble wins with a roll up.

6. CM Punk b Chavo Guerrero

Real good match. Punk wins clean with the Go to Sleep.

7. MVP b Carlito

MVP tried to get Carlito to cancel the match so they could go to Miami for the good weather. Carlito turned face and decided to fight.

MVP wins with his finisher.

8. Edge b Batista in a NO DQ match

Great match. They brawled through the crowd early on. Tons of near falls with both guys busting out their main moves. Major Brother interfere. Batista squashes them. Edge hits Batista with the belt while up in the Batista bomb for the finish.

9. Undertaker and Kane b Big Daddy V and Great Khali 

Slow match. Majority of the match was Kane trying to get out of Khali's claw hold.

Double chokeslam on Khali for the pin.
