AEW defeated WWE NXT in the head to head Wednesday Night War this week, PWInsider.com has learned.
AEW Dynamite Blood and Guts garnered 792,000 overnight viewers while WWE NXT (which was pushed to Wednesday this week due to the CW Network's Election Night coverage in the United States) brought in 552,000.
In the 18-49 demo, AEW had 323,000 viewers while NXT brought in 180,000. This would be AEW's largest viewership in that demo since the 2024 Blood and Guts episode of Dynamite.
In the 25-54 demo, AEW also won, having 341,000 viewers to NXT's 195,000 viewers.
Given how loaded NXT was with Cody Rhodes, John Cena, CM Punk and more, this is a huge feather in AEW's cap.
