Well, that was a rather unceremonious end to Chad Gable’s IC title run…..any thoughts? Seemed somewhat premature and without much build up.
I like Ethan Page a lot but he has lost soooooo much. For him to come in pretty gold and beat Gable? I didn’t like it at all. Unless Gable has a serious injury or another situation that would make him have to lose the belt, I just don’t get it at all.
Chelsea Green catching a break in the booking seems unlikely, doesn’t it? Does Liv getting the better of her yet again foreshadow a loss on Saturday?
With all the trash talking Liv Morgan has done to Chelsea Green, doesn't Chelsea have to win at Crown Jewel to solidify her claim of being a "real" or "legitimate" champion?
I put these two together. Yep, they have booked Chelsea so badly since she won the Title. They have basically said she is lucky to even have the belt and they have done nothing to show the fans that is not true. If Liv beats her on Saturday? Man, they have really killed her momentum. She really needs to win. If she doesn’t, whoever beats her for the Title (probably Tiffany Stratton), it won’t mean much.
With the addition of Cruz Montana to the 946 (can’t wait to hear the explanation on that one), who is your pick to round out the Bloodline; does Jacob Fatu come back from injury or do they recruit LA Knight?
They haven’t explained why Carmelo joined and you thinks that they will explain why Cruz joined? I won’t hold my breath. Hell, Solo, who said he was never going back, is suddenly back in The Bloodline, WTF? Anyway, I expect Jacob rounds out The Bloodline team. That is my pick.
I figured out a new drinking game for RAW; take a shot every time there’s interference by Judgement Day or The Vision. I know they’re heels and they cheat, but does it have to just be rinse and repeat every week?
It really has gotten super repetitive and obvious.
Did the crowd seem genuinely quiet to you? They popped big for Roman, but they seemed pretty tepid to me for a lot of the night.
They were absolutely subdued. Mike Johnson was there and I texted him to see if they were dead or not miked well. It was the former. And for a NY crowd to be dead? That is saying a lot about the state of the product. When you look at the previous questions here, it’s not hard to see why the fans were so quiet. Good wrestling matches only go so far. Vince McMahon always said that as Madison Square Garden went, so went WWE. Yes, this was Brooklyn but it was NYC. I hope Paul Levesque heard the silence. It was directed at him.
