Destination X 2012 - Ultimate X Match: Mason Andrews vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Kenny King vs. Zema Ion

Ion tried to get to the cables right away but the others grabbed him.  He tried to come off the ropes but all three dropkicked him.   Ion dragged Andrews out.  King was caught with a Dutt rana.

Dutt went to the top for the cables but King grabbed him.  Ion came from behind and shoved King off.  Andrews dropkicked Ion but was slammed into the buckles.  Ion hit a tornado DDT off the ropes.

Ion went to climb up but was tied to the tree of woe.  Andrews went for a tornado DDT on King, who turned it into a Northern Lights suplex into Ion, who was still hanging.  King went to ascend to the cables but Dutt caught him.  They battled back and forth outside on the apron but King nailed him and sent him to the floor.

King tried to make his way across the cables but Dutt nailed a springboard dropkick to take him out.   Dutt went for a standing shooting star press but his wrist came down bad and it looked like his hurt it.  He was quickly removed from the ring.  Talk about bad timing as he was looking awesome so far.  He was taken to the locker room.

Andrews was caught by Ion with a dropkick.  Ion went to the cables but was pulled down by King and Andrews.  King legdropped Ion.   Ion rolled to the outside.  King ascended to the top but was cut off by Andrews.  He nailed a Russian legsweep off the ropes into the mat.

Ion used them being out to ascend the cables but was taken out by King.  King went for a twisting splash to the outside but Ion moved out of the ring.   Ion worked him over but Andrews nailed a dive to the outside on both.

Andrews began scaling the wires but was pulled down by  King.  Dutt returned and began making his way to the top.  King and Andrews made their way across the bottom of the wires battling back and forth.  They nailed a neckbreaker off the wires.

Ion and Dutt went to the truss above the ring and the cables.  They battled back and forth.  Dutt slipped down through and went for the belt but Ion puilled out his hairspray and blinded Dutt with it.  With no one left, Ion grabbed the belt.

Your winner, Zema Ion!

Original PPV thoughts: A good Ultimate X match when you consider three of the competitors had never worked one of these before.   Dutt getting hurt obviously hurt the flow of the match so once that went down, they were working hard to make sure the crowd stayed with them.  There were a lot of crazy bumps and stunts.  Another good match.

They showed highlights of the Hardys vs. Syk in the Slaughterhouse Match.

The #1 Don West Trending Topic was Syk winning that bout.

Destination X 2005 - TNA X-Division Champion AJ Styles vs. Primetime Elix Skipper vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Ron Killings

The rules of the bout: The bout will start as a tag team match. When a man is eliminated, it will turn into a three-way match. When a second competitor is eliminated, it will then turn into a traditional Ultimate X match, where you must capture the belt hanging above the ring.

Stage One: Killings & Daniels vs. Skipper & Styles

Skipper and Killings started the bout. Killings hit a missile dropkick. Styles tagged in and wanted a piece of Daniels. Daniels walked away from the ring instead of tagging in. Styles went for a leapfrog but didn’t clear. Styles dropkicked Killings but was attacked from behind by Daniels. Daniels tagged in and hit Styles with a series of rights. Styles came off the ropes with a big knee drop for a two count. As Styles came off the ropes, Skipper kicked him and applauded his former partner Daniels. Daniels hit an STO and locked in a crossface. Daniels hit a springboard press off the ropes for a two count. Styles battled back. Daniels tried to hit a back suplex on Styles, but he landed on his feet and hit an enzuigiri. Killings tagged in, as did Skipper. Killings looked great in an exchange and hit an axe kick from the top rope, but Daniels broke up the pin. Killings clotheslined his own partner out of the ring. Styles hit a running tope con hilo to the floor. Skipper hit Sudden Death for the pin. Killings is eliminated.

Stage Two: Daniels vs. Styles vs. Skipper

Styles and Skipper unleashed kicks back and forth on each other and hit a double clothesline. Daniels ascended the cables and used the cross-section of the cables to hit a moonsault into the ring on both men. Mike Tenay called it the BME — Biggest Moonsault Ever. Skipper had words with Daniels about the move. Daniels buttered him up, then turned on his old partner. Daniels hit an exploder. Styles tried to get in the ring but was knocked to the floor. Skipper exploded with offense on Daniels, hitting a spinning leg lariat. He went for a full nelson suplex, but Daniels ducked down just as Styles came off the ropes with a springboard into a forearm. Styles and Daniels battled in the corner. Skipper came off the cables with an inverted reverse frankensteiner. Skipper hit a powerbomb on Daniels but was too hurt to make the cover. Skipper worked over Daniels. Skipper hit a mule kick on Daniels. Styles used the cables as a starting point, doing a full flip, then pulled over into a shooting star that glancingly hit his opponents. Skipper hit Sudden Death, but Daniels rolled up Skipper for the pin.

Stage Three: Styles vs. Daniels for the X-Division Championship

Daniels climbed the cables looking for the belt but was pulled off by Styles. He took Styles down and went back to the cables. Styles pulled him down and hit a side backbreaker. Daniels worked him over with headbutt after headbutt. Styles hit the Pele Kick. Daniels and Styles each headed for the cables. Daniels slipped and dived at Styles, pulling him down into the ring. Styles went for the title, but Daniels hit a spear off the corner into an STO. Daniels climbed across the cables with Styles pursuing him. Daniels fell and then pulled Styles into the ring, with Styles taking a face-first dive. The crowd chanted, "This is Awesome!" and they were right. Daniels and Styles met at the halfway point, and both went for the belt but fell, with the title remaining in place. They went for it again, and once again, the belt remained. Styles grabbed the belt, but when he returned to the ring, Daniels hit Angel’s Wings and grabbed the belt. The referee saw Daniels with the belt and rang the bell.

Your winner and new TNA X-Division Champion, Christopher Daniels!

Original PPV thought: That was easily the best thing on the show thus far and a great bout.

Becca vs. Shazza McKenzie

They battled back and forth before facing off.  McKenzie swept Becca's legs and smashed her to the mat face-first.  Becca came back with a series of kicks, then a dropkick that sent McKenzie crashing to the floor.   Becca tossed her back in the ring and covered her for a two count.  Becca mocked her but was caught with a series of shots to the mid-section.  Becca nailed a gourd buster and cinched in a Muta Lock.  She tied up McKenzie's arms but Shazza fought her way out.  They battled back and forth with punches.  McKenzie caught Becca in the ropes and nailed a series of kicks to the chest.  She drilled one final boot to the side of the head and ascended to the top.  She executed a flying bodypress for a two count.  McKenzie caught her with a superkick.  Becca came back with a back suplex, bridging upwards for a two count.   Becca went to the top but missed a 450 splash.  Shazza nailed a stunner for the pin.

Your winner, Shazza McKenzie!
