The UWN announced:
CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING RETURNS TO IRVINE NOVEMBER 3 AS JASON REDONDO RECEIVES LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE AWARD
IRVINE, CA — Championship Wrestling returns to Irvine on Tuesday, November 3 for another night of television as the United Wrestling Network brings championship matches, familiar rivalries and some of the biggest names in Southern California wrestling back to the Irvine Improv. The evening will also feature a special presentation honoring one of the region’s most respected wrestling veterans, Jason Redondo.
Alliance Wrestling will present Jason Redondo with the Legacy of Excellence Award, recognizing his contributions to professional wrestling and the impact he has made throughout his career. A longtime fixture of the Southern California wrestling scene, Redondo will be joined by his son, Jake Redondo, who will be on hand to congratulate his father during the special presentation.
The UWN Television Championship will be on the line when reigning champion Ray Jaz defends against the returning Javi. Jaz has continued to establish himself since capturing the championship, but Javi returns to Championship Wrestling with an opportunity to make an immediate impact and leave Irvine with the title.
Thunder & Lightning, Will Allday and Cam Cole, return to defend their UWN World Tag Team Championship against Mariachi Montana. The champions have enjoyed a strong start to their reign since dethroning 5150, but they’ll face a very different challenge against the powerful Montana duo, who have an opportunity to bring the championship back home with them.
Richard Holliday returns to singles competition against former UWN Television Champion Evan Daniels. Holliday continues to make his presence felt in the United Wrestling Network, while Daniels looks to score a major victory over one of the most accomplished competitors on the Championship Wrestling roster.
UWN World Champion Jordan Cruz is also scheduled to appear as his reign continues with Red Carpet Rumble winner Bad Dude Tito waiting for his opportunity at the championship. With the target firmly on his back, Cruz remains the man to beat in the United Wrestling Network.
Also appearing will be reigning UWN Heritage Champion Maximilien, accompanied by Jordan Castle, along with former UWN World Tag Team Champions 5150, Danny Limelight and Slice Boogie.
The women’s division will be represented as Delilah Doom goes one-on-one with Alex Gracia, while Simone Williams is also scheduled to appear. Simone has her sights set on reigning UWN World Ladies Champion Big Mama, making her intentions clear as she looks to put herself in position for a future championship opportunity.
Bad Dude Tito, Che Cabrera, Mathias and many more of the stars of Championship Wrestling round out another night of television as the United Wrestling Network returns to Irvine.
