WHO ELSE COULD RUN NXT, WHAT OTHER UNSAFE PLACES COULD WWE RUN, THE END OF PRO WRESTLING AND MORE

Listening to the WDNNSNS and you guys discuss who should replace Bruce Pritchard. How would you feel about Mike “Miz” Mizanin?  Just a person the popped into my mind as someone that fits a lot of what you both said should be factored in.

I appreciate all Miz has done in the business.  He overcame a rocky start, for sure.  With that said, I wouldn’t put him in a role of coordinating creative without any experience.  He could end up being a natural but without knowing that in advance if would be a big chance to take.

So Crown Jewel was moved...to another location in Saudi Arabia??? Please help that make any sense to me. How is the new place safer? Or is it?

My guess is that they think being in an indoor stadium is safer than being in an outdoor stadium.  I guess it is slightly, since drones can’t enter in the building from above.  Man, I can’t believe I just typed that sentence or that I had to.

So I had a few ideas for where WWE could host their next major event, let me know if any of these would actually be beyond the pale for them: war-torn Gaza; Russia, especially if Putin himself makes an appearance; atop an active volcano; the German autobahn during rush hour; the red spot on Jupiter; or the lawn of the White House. I'm sure at least a couple of these would be worth the trouble if the money is right, dignity or personal safety be damned.

Sadly, I can’t say that you are wrong. It is clear to me that money comes first for TKO.

All of this talk of moving Crown Jewel got me thinking. Obviously, it's monstrously stupid to keep going ahead with the show in Saudi, but clearly the reason is financial. On that note, however, shouldn't a business like WWE have suitable insurance in place for situations like this, where outside circumstances force them to cancel a lucrative show? Wouldn't that offset, if not cover entirely, the lost revenue? If such a policy isn't in place, why isn't it?

It don’t know this for sure but it’s my understanding that the insurance WWE has is if they are forced to cancel the show, which isn’t the case right now.  If they choose to cancel the show, they couldn’t make a claim, despite the circumstances.

I have been a fan of pro wrestling since I was 6. I'm in my mid-40's now and I still have a love for wrestling in *most* of its forms. The exceptions being (even though kayfabe is essentially a thing of the past) bad comedy that makes it look fake. Do you, God forbid, see a time when pro wrestling ceases to exist? Or is it such a unique form of entertainment that it will always have an audience? Thoughts?

I don’t have a crystal ball but I do think that pro wrestling will always be around in some shape of form.  I just think that there is too big of an audience, plus people with means that love it, for it to go away completely.
