So... Crown Jewel question... Are Ari Emanuel, Mark Shapiro and Nick Khan going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE crew or are they watching comfortably from their home in the US?
I have not heard that either Emanuel or Shapiro are going, and I get why they aren’t since they are more to TKO than just WWE. Now, Nick Khan? He should absolutely go since he is the President of WWE. If he is sending his people into danger then he should go with them.
Do you think a Vince McMahon owned WWE would be going to Saudi Arabia?
Well, Vince did continue a PPV after Owen Hart died so yes, I do think he would go on with the show. And, he would 100 percent go himself.
With Skydance now in charge of AEW TV, do you think they will leave the PPV model a lot like they did with the UFC and put them on a streamer?
They are currently in cost cutting mode post merger and to get the rights to the AEW PPVs, they would have to pay for them. I don’t see that happening at this time.
How insane is it that DX is running WWE?
On the one hand, it’s crazy. On the other? Well HHH and Shawn Michaels ARE WWE. They are both students of the business and unlike a lot of people, they never left the company to go to WCW. So on the one hand, it’s wild. On the other hands, it makes a lot of sense.
Who gets NXT? Will it be CM Punk or Kevin Owens?
Of those two? I will go with Punk. Overall? You know, I think I will still go with Punk. He is the perfect guy to mold young talent because of his love for the business and the fact that he wants talents to learn things the right way.
