Insane Wrestling Revolution was in Monroe, Michigan for their "Monster's Ball event". They featured a lot of good regional talent, alongside a healthy dose of TNA talent.
It's well shot and lit and have chirons with each wrestler's name as they come out.
They do a lot to set up their Dec 26 event.
They held 3 pre-show, VIP matches:
Evan Encore and "The Bachelor" Benjamin Boone were defeated by the EH (pronounced "A") Team Special Forces (a heel Canadian stable led by John E. Bravo).
Coach Dutch beat Rod Lee.
"The Black Diamon" Jack Price got a win over Kenny Urban.
"The Problem" Isaiah Broner and Ren Jones retained the IWR Tag titles in a defense against former TNA X Division champion Rohit Raju and "Shogun" Jackson Stone.
Sam Beale, who has filled out a lot since his TNA time a few years ago, successfully defended the IWR US title against Thomas Heim, who was on recent episode of TNA Xplosion.
Returning from serious neck injury, Martian Webb beat Ryan Matthias, a regular for the Wrestling REVOLVER.
Webb is immediately attacked by Jake Crist after the match.
IWR Champion (and TNA International champion) Jason Hotch beat Trey Miguel to retain his title. Good match but relatively short, probably to not endanger either guy more than necessary with TNA having a ppv coming up soon.
Hotch continued to attack Miguel after the match until Beale made the save.
An irate Hotch challenged Beale to a title vs title match at Season's Beatings on Dec. 26.
Rory Shields, lately a regular for REVOLVER and managed by Bravo, defeated Leela Hall for the Olde Tyme Women's Athletic title.
The main event saw Shotzi Blackheart team with the Soultaker to defeat Madman Fulton and Jody Threat in a Monster's Ball match.
Seemed like both sides were fan favorites so no one to hate here. Soultaker is a clear descendant of the Undertaker but he's pretty good.
Fun, plunder filled match with Blackheart pinning Fulton with a top rope Meteora.
Goes fast and is done in under 2 hours. Entertaining show.
