DANHAUSEN DOING SNICKERS COMMERCIALS, WHY WE NEVER GOT AUSTIN VS. ROCK VS. HHH, JORDYNNE GRACE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2026-10-24 10:01:00

Jordynne Grace and Ivy Nile have been off TV for some time and the social media rumor is that they could be a tag team.  Thoughts on that for them?

If that's what WWE wants to do, it's an interesting idea given they are both power-based performers.  I'd go all the way and have them presented as a modern day Demolition or Road Warriors with facepaint and spikes and have them massacring talents in the ring.  Hell, license the Demolition name and call them the new Ax and Smash.  If it helps them get over, why not?

Isn't it in bad taste to have Danhausen doing Snickers commercials for kids?

Yes, absolutely, because WWE has obviously not aimed that character at children.  What are they thinking?

At Survivor Series 1999 what was the reason for Stone Cold Steve Austin not competing in the The Rock vs Triple H vs Stone Cold Triple Threat Match? It would have quite possibly been one of the greatest matches of that era. Also (depending on the answer to the first question) why didn't they try to do it again? I am surprised this match never happened as all three were around at the same time for a long time.

Austin was pulled as he needed neck surgery.

When the streak ended, I remember reading a lot of feedback about how negative the crowd reaction was. As in they were expecting more noise and boos. I think it was the best reaction they could have gotten. For something as big as the streak, do you not think stunned silence is a better reaction than boos and noise. Making 80,000 people silent is quite an achievement I think.

I really can't argue that, except for the fact that Undertaker's loss was so stunning for the audience that it took them out of the moment of Daniel Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight championship. That reaction would have been far more explosive and much more of a release for the audience had it not been for the streak ending.

Why did no one ever do a Rambo-related gimmick?

I guess WWE has had some military based gimmicks, but I guess a guy running around with a machine gun would be far too wild for them!  Or, perhaps the Greg Gagne attempt to channel Rambo in the AWA chased off all others from even trying to attempt such a character.
